  1. What an obvious trolling microsoft advertisement . Microsoft has ordered it's minions to battle.
  2. Who will want to mod for a paid subscription,...the lazy gits that run xboxes? Modding has been doomed by this venture.
  3. I'd like to see a Pacifist Companion, one that doesn’t run into combat, slaughter everything before you even get there. OR,..perhaps just a better mod to control combat for followers.
  4. Hello, I'm looking for any of the BaB - Body body replacers or anything BaB. Anyone know where they are hidden?
  5. Update final: Since the recent Nexusmods file revamping, etc., I no longer have these problems. I can actually read the description files and not have black squares on my desktop! I don't know what you did but it seems to be working. Thanks to whomever!
  6. Update: I have checked 4 computers, 4 different video cards, 2 OS's. I was able to replicate the garbled nexusmods site problems with a radeon x1950 and x800 card on two different computers. Seems to be a video rendering /linux /radeon x----series problem with your site. Why only your site I don't know. What libopenipmi0 had or had not to do with it ,..I don't know. By the way, on one computer I was bumped off by Firefox telling me it was an “improperly configured site.” I have pics of all the problems if anyone has an interest.
  7. On this computer , I'm running Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon desktop. I've seen this problem for a long time. I did a complete re-install couple a weeks ago to be sure everything was clean. The symptoms disappear after a reboot but come back while visiting this site. I've also seen it with Ubuntu (2013) but chalked it up to something else. I came upon the libopenipmi0 package while in synaptic and wondered if something was happening after reading about some remote desktop issues, (black squares on desktop.) Oddly after removing libopenimpi0 package the problems ceased but so did all images (except for advertisements,) on the site. Also, I have NOT been able to replicate the issue by re-installing libopenipmi0, (what is this doing on my desktop anyway?) and all images are still gone.I'll see if it returns.
  8. You may be right, but it only occurs on your site, absolutely no other. I will continue to investigate.
  9. hint.....libopenipmi0 package is openipmi tools (for servers.)
  10. I have recently noticed problems with this computer when visiting/logging in, nexusmods.com. (and ONLY this site.) CPU usage 100%; desktop has black squares; Firefox will corrupt itself and freeze, etc. I am running linux. I have noticed when I remove: libopenipmi0 , it solves the proplems except there are no pics in the mod section. WHAT does this site use libopenipmi0 or it's equvilant for? For what libopenipmi0 does, it looks a bit insidious.....
  11. why does nexusmods.com(the site) crash my browser, try to freeze my computer (cpu runs 100%) the network often goes full tilt too; unresponsive scripts, etc. Mileage varies but 60% of the time after a while on nexus,. the browser, etc. complains. It does not do that on ANY OTHER site. What is nexus doing? Is nexus not linux friendly?
  12. Personally I stand can't Steam. The problem is that the gaming community has accepted this insidious software and Steam doesn't care because they pretty much have a monopoly. You want to play? Steam asks you first to get on your knees... I don't visit or use the Steam Forums. Anything you say or do, can be held against you,..or rather your account/games. It seems to be no way to turn Steam off in a game. And that's what bothers me, Steam always runs in the background, no matter what you do. There is no need for it to do that unless they are gathering information / etc.
  13. I will investigate what Thenryb suggests but,..I solved it by installing the FOMM forked version: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/54991/ ...thanks...
  14. "......and when i try to add the vanessa companion mod, it shows the System out of memory exception error." I have the same problem; using FO3NV steam version game; using FOMM. Vanessa installs fine in FO3 (non-steam,) but none will install in FO3NV using FOMM.
  15. The vault appears to be gone. Too bad there was no warning; all the files and information are now just "tears in the rain." The "new vault" has some info (not much,) hopefully it will build.
