Howdy everyone. I have an odd particular problem. I'm not exactly sure what is causing it, but I am assuming it's something in my ENB (I use Realvision) or one of my lighting mods. When I use Blood Cursed Arrows, and do the "end the tyranny of the sun" (for 24 hours in game time) it works fine. The sun does it change...but does another unwanted thing. It turns everything a dark shade of red. To the point I can barely make out details on my screen. I really want to use Blood Cursed arrows, as I am a vampire. However, with this issue, it will be almost impossible. As of this moment, I am making a back up of my skyrim folder with enb so what I fiddle with wont be saved. I'm coming here to ask for help and to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. I've done searches and asked in the live chat (as well as doing google searches) but I can't find anything similar to my problem. If anyone has any information regarding my issue and would be willing to share it (or any tips in general for fixing this problem), I'd really appreciate it.

Robco Lobotomite Geck Help
funnyhalo replied to funnyhalo's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks for the speedy reply. Hanlon works fine, I spawned him in Caesars tent, and was able to turn him into a unique lobotomite. I'm not too familiar with scripts, but if you can be a tad bit more specific, I'll look through Geck. What should I be looking for in GECK? For right now, I'll see if anything sticks out with Hanlon in GECK that allow's it to work (but again, I'm a newbie with GECK, so we'll see) EDIT update: Ok, after some searching through Geck, I was able to find the object ID of the lobo in question. If you do a search for him via name it won't pop up. He is listed under the name "kaiser" for whatever reason in GECK. What I tried to do was kill the original, have the bug occur, and then spawn him via console. He works, except for the fact that he does not have his "special", which I believe should increase your robot capacity. I believe this is a script thing (but I'm no expert on scripts, so I am unsure.) in which your robot capacity is increased as he is created via the script. In conclusion, the only way I'm going to get him to work is if I fix the issue with his script, because otherwise, he just doesn't function correctly. (unless I misread in the readme, and he doesn't actually have that special ability, in which case, doh.) -
Hey guys, I have an unusual problem, that's extremely specific and details one mod. I doubt I'll be able to fix it, but unless the mod author miraculously comes back to do a mod fix (which I sort of doubt), I would like to fix it for myself on my game using geck (I don't have a ton of knowledge in regards to GECK, but I just need a place to start, thus this thread). I can create lobotomites just fine, and I have the correct perks, however, whenever I try to make a unique lobotomite out of it only gives me the option to remove a tumor. If I try to resurrect him via the console and try again, it still gives me the tumor successfully removed dialogue, with no super lobo created. If anyone know's a fix, that would be amazing. What I am primarily looking is a way to fix it in GECK. I've done some searches for lobo in the Geck, and have found nothing. If any could give me some idea's, geck or otherwise, that might be able to fix (or just get around) the problem, I would be greatful!

Hey folks. The nexus website has helped me with many problems before. Right now, I'm encountering an odd one in new Vegas. My night sky texture looks like this: I have removed Nevada Skys, and any other textures that I thought would interfere with the night sky, except for maybe NCM's Texture pack (May have gotten the name wrong). I haven't disabled this yet due to it's large size, and the fact that it should not affect the night sky. As of right now, I'm reinstalling the game and I'm going to reactivate the mods when it's done. Right now, my best bet is that it has something to do with the current ENB settings i'm running, but I was unaware they would effect textures (of this nature) in such a way. If it is ENB, i'll try to find another the works. While I'm also not a huge user of BOSS (LOOT), I will be using it after the re-installation of new Vegas and posting my load order here. I've started this topic without it too see if anyone here has had a similar problem (I've done searches, which came up with similar issues, but not what I was looking for) and to see if there was a quick fix anyone could recommend. My next post will be my mod list and order. If I could get assistance in fixing this issues, I would be grateful. If not, no worries, I'll continue to tinker until I figure out what is causing this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I figured this would be the right area to post this: if this is not, I request a mod move this to the correct area of the forums, with my apologies EDIT 2: My mod order, reconfigured by LOOT

Ok, this problem began to occur when I changed the load order of my mods, in a failed attempt to fix the miraak boss battle (And all it's glitchy glory). What happens is, when I interact with any table/anvil/smelter my character bends over like normal, and the menu pops up. Then, immediately he stands back up, and force closes the menu, and I am unable to enchant or make anything. If anyone has any idea's, I'd appreciate it. I'd be willing to post my mod's and the like, but I didn't see any rules requiring it... If there are any console commands that force the menu up, I'd be willing to use those as well. I don't "NEED" the tables.

This boss fight is bugged up beyond belief. Bethesda apparently doesn't care. Our best hope is that the unofficial patch team can fix it. For me, specficically, He goes into his invuln state after absorbing his dragon, but doesn't regenerate 100%, thus staying in that state. Does anyone know of any specific console commands that can get use through this boss fight? the kill command doesn't work on him, changing the quest stage DOES allow us to "complete" the mission, but we miss out on the story aspect, as well as claiming his armor and weapons (if you try to spawn them using the console, they don't appear in your inventory, but they do take up weight. you need to use the player.removeitem command to get rid of them. This also applies to the place at me command. You pick it up, but doesn't appear in inventory. I'm thinking you need to properly loot his body to get the items. I'm going to check out qasmoke to see if I can take the items from there.) Anyone know of any other console commands that can help use, abit temporarily so we can get his items, and properly end the quest?

Well, I'm able to use the Drain life ability, it's just really weak. I'd perfer to use claws. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having the problem. Any chance you have any werewolf mods active?

Ok, so, I've tried everything to get the melee mode of the vampire lord to perform the bite to get vampire perk progress. It doesn't work for me. When I found out it only work on npc's that fall to the ground, I tried it again against only human NPC's. Still nothing. Am I correct by saying I need to use a power (melee) attack while an NPC is on the ground (Human)? If so, it doesn't work for me. I have been forced to use the Magic version instead to increase my perks, which is far weaker then the melee. Is anyone else having this problem, or is it just me? I'm going to try to remove my werewolf mod to see if that fixes it (Not sure why it would cause a problem, since I'm a vampire...) but beyond that, I'm stumped. I know a little about modding and the creation kit, but not nearly enough to fix triggers, animation, and damage. Also, a less important issue. Is night eye really just a blue tinted screen? I remember in oblivion it revealed enemies and made things more clear. Not sure if a bug, or something else. I looked up mods and fixes for nighteye, but I'm unsure which one's work with dawnguard, and don't want to break anything in Dawnguard. If anyone has any solutions, and could share some info, I'd appreciate it very much! Thanks in advance. Edit: Also note, that I did do a forum search, but nothing really popped up that fit my issue. Feel free to post a link correcting this if I missed something...

SPOILERS! Ok, now that you have been warned, I have successfully enslaved the Moth Priest, and brought him back to the Castle. However, after he reads the scroll, he just stands there, doing nothing. It's a bug, I'm sure of it. Anyone know of any console commands that can force him to continue? I'll be searching on my own, but I may as well post this here.... EDIT: Ok, using the console, I was able to advance the stage. Now, I'm having similar issues later on in the quest. This time, your vamp companion refuses to open up the soul cairn even after getting the ingredients. I've tried the same methods as before, but setstage, setobjectivecompleted don't seem to be working, even with the correct quest id. Any advanced users care to help?
