  1. This place is of no help it also sucks.

     

    What's the point of coming to this place if no one's going to respond to my Requests or helps?

     

    I always do my research first before making requests but I still don't get no replies. I get alot of views but 0 replies.

     

    Why is that? What do I need to do to fix this problem?

  2. I was able to create a drunk for a mod I am working on, by creating a NPC, then giving him a custom AI package.

    When you create an NPC, the problem with duplicating specific character's AI packages, is that they may be set for specific conditions, places, targets, etc.

    But you can click on the AI package table, and then create what you would like. (there are also defaults that are very useful)

    If you right click on the AI package table, then click "new" it will pull up a new window, and you can make what you want, including specific idles. So in my case, I added specific idles for my character to drink, act drunk, nod off, look out into the distance, etc. You can also set up specific schedules.

     

    I am just barely learning about modding myself. I am sure there are many people with a lot more experience who could give you a more elegant solution.

    Mostly I have just used the CK wiki tutorials and a lot of trial and error. Anyway, I hope this help you!

     

    I am already familiar with AI packages. I just didn't know you could go into detail.

     

    Could you show me how to do it real quick?

  3. I need help creating a drunk NPC. I took a copy of Embry from Riverwood Sleeping Giant's Inn and tried to make a copy for myself and renamed him. Only to find out that the original scripts that belonged to him were removed automatically due to a name change. Even if I go to the Quest category where his scripts are I even made my own Scene and found out that the Scene won't start up when I test it in the game.

     

    Why is this? I learned everything. Is there something I'm missing? I need some help here please.

  4. As a primarily melee-type, I don't often bother with the Thieves Guild. But when I do, I always, ALWAYS screw up "The Litany of Larceny". I never retrieve all of the items involved, and wind up with a decidedly empty set of shelves near my desk when I reach the end of the Thieves Guild questline.

     

    I know now, thanks to the UESP wiki, where all the items are, but...can someone help me with a way to remember to grab them? When I get started on a quest, I'm normally just looking to get from objective A to objective B as quickly and quietly as possible...is this a bad way to play (matter of opinion, I know, but I'm asking for opinions), or do I just need to slow down a little?

     

    Use the console command. It'll save your life. Just type in the i.d. number and it'll drop it into your inventory.

  5. Okay, I know no one is going to reply to my post because no one really ever does. So I will waste some time even if I'm being judgmental. So I'm just going to throw this empty request out there. Apparently, TheWolf93 somehow got banned, he was the guy who created the Akaviri mod. I have some problems with his mod since he's not available anymore. I may be a butthole but I'm not trying to be one so please forgive my irritation.

     

    I followed his instructions down to the T including the beauty add ons and the hair.

     

    Apparently, there's problems with his mod. After everything was completely configured, his hair can only select 1 style and there's only 2 hair colors.

     

    Also, when I slide the Eye Shape all the way to the right, the last 6 eyes do not change. They only stay the same shape.

     

    Would anyone fix those problems?

  6. I was working on Dwemer Androids, android style without the human skin but I lost those files in my old hard drive. I even took the Vanilla Voices and used my sound editing program to make them robotic.

     

    For one, I would love to see a humanoid Plant race, the ones with tree limbs as arms, roots as legs, and hair looking like green leafed afros.

     

    We also need more beast races and more varieties based off of them.

  7. I love the way Dark0ne had it done in the past BUT he clearly made his reasons as to why he's doing this. He's doing it because the website is becoming overwhelming and the downloads were completely screwing up. So he had to come in with his friends and revamp the site to stop the glitches.

     

    I love how he organized it as of in the past two days because it makes the website navigation 100x's more easier to access and download.

     

    Everything is much smaller looking and well categorized when it comes to the buttons and I've noticed new buttons I never seen before show up and how easy it is to use them.

     

    No one's bashing you Ac3s, I and they understand your concern. We're all a big family here.

    As when it's equipped, it would lose all the physics and become static object.

     

     

    It's 100% possible. Here, look at this Youtube video, look at 2:46 with the Dragonborn in the snow upon a cliff. He's using a spike ball and chain.

    They call the technique Velvet Surfaces.

     

    I would have to see that in a game. I looked and freakin looked through Google and can't find it other than Zaz Resources Whips, Restraints, and Bondage which you have to have a ton of crap to download in order to use his mod.

     

    I don't want all of that. I just want a spiked ball and chain or a leather whip.

  9. I have a Trap Mace.nif file. You would see one in Brine Water Groto when doing the mission to follow the Argonian to his hideout when gaining information on Karliah.

     

    At the entrance of the hideout you'll see a trap mace and when you touch it, it falls in front of you and the spiked ball dangles.

     

    Since it already does that, I would like to use it as a weapon. Whenever I load it into the Creation Kit, the CK stops working and shuts down. Anyone knows why it does that?

     

    Also if I send the nif file would any of you help me load the chain mace so I can use it in the game as a weapon?

  10. Attention, I know how to use Blender and I also have 3ds Max 2012 Student Edition with the Nifscripts finally plugged in as of today.

     

    I am intending to assemble a mutual staff so that we can bring more innovation to the world of the Dwemer.

     

    I've been working with Blender off and on throughout the last 2 years and have just basic knowledge on how to make meshes. I know how to basically use U.V. Editor, just low experience in that.

     

    I am needing experienced modders who will help me make a Dwemercycle (Bike). I can assemble the tires and maybe a seat. I just need someone with experience on how to mold the details of the vehicle.

     

    If you would, I can fill you in on the rest of the details when you private message me.

  11. Meh, I'd scratch the grappling hook/hand thing right away, it's not gonna happen too soon at least.

     

    But that hand would be really great.

     

    I've always been fan of things like that.

     

    I hear ya. I gotta see that grapplin hook. Hell, if they can do all kinds of stuff they can surely make a grapplin hook that has the whipping effect.

     

    We need to have whips for Syrim too. You seen some of those caves and Dwemer ruins with those Mace and chains traps?

     

    I saw how that ball and chain drops. Surely they can make something?

  12. I'm aware of 'You are not the Dragonborn' but thats not exactly what i'm looking for. It completely locks out the word walls, the majoity of the MQ, and so forth.

     

    I want to be able to advance in the main quest still, and use shouts, but I want the soul absorbtion effect not to happen, and the dragons to stay whole when they die. Then, if I untick the mod in the mod manager, to be able to absorb souls again.

     

    Effectively, I just want to toggle whether I am dragonborn or not on a given character, and to change my mind when I wish.

     

    Please could someone assist?

    It wouldn't make any sense because Bethesda intended the story to be about the Dragonborn so he absorbs souls. There is a story as to why Dragons disintegrate when their souls are taken.

     

    It might not be a good idea to do a mod like that, because it could screw up the quests that are programmed that have to have the Player to do Dragonsoul quests where he might have to get a Dragonsoul to complete a quest.

     

    That's if you are wanting to go to this approach.

     

    Toggling might be a cool idea.

  13. Anyone came up with anything interesting with Dwemer technology yet?

     

    I Google searched and can't find anything. Anything on a Dwemercycle, Dwemer Horse bot, or a Dwemer dragon?

     

    This website is getting boring. We need more orginal creativity. I can't even configure the mods right. I followed modding instructions but I keep getting errors in both Maya and Blender.

  14. I would love to see a mod that will allow you to make random items depending on your skill level. Not a Blacksmith forge thing, just a mod that you go around picking up random junk or Dwemer parts. You go to a bench, you put those items together, and you get random results. Those random items can be useful in quests,during battles, and useful for furniture at your player home. Kind of like surprises, you'll never know what you'll get.
  15. Ok I seen robot dragon and now I want an robot mountable horse, For real my character is a dwemer type character and like to see an an mount for that kind of character.

     

    I seen bone horses and the one from dawnguard and that fire horse mod, it just bothers no one did anything for us dwemer types.

     

    I did the texture for a Dwemer type horse. So if you want the .dds file I can send it to you and you can attach it to your horse file.

  16. It opens a white page that doesn't do anything by itself, but it also opens the download window from my browser that asks if I want to save or open etc. Maybe if you try a different browser, it will work? It works fine on both Firefox and Chrome for me.

     

    I have Firefox and the download doesn't work half the time.

  17. I'm not sure where this question goes to and tried finding a forum to place this in and don't see one for this to be placed at.

     

    So the problem is that when i try to download a mod manually, it takes me to this white page, it just sits there, and does nothing. The download could be broken. It just does nothing at all. I saw that this has been going on since last summer and no one has done anything to resolve it. On your all's computers this link MIGHT work not on mine.

     

    Will you all fix this problem? Do you all know what this is, have any of you experienced the same problem while downloading?
