Since I'm bad at creating good-looking player characters, I'm wondering if there's a mod out there that lets you assume the appearance of a target NPC. I've wanted to create a character similar to Illia from the Bijin Warmaidens mod. Using Alternate Actors the appearance changed drastically when I took control of that NPC, so that didn't work...

Right, I'm a proper knob. This was caused by my ENB. Instead of disabling Anti-Aliasing, I had disabled Antisotropic Filtering, and after switching these settings I have eyes again! Yay! Of course after spending hours troubleshooting I find the solution myself the minute after I make a thread about this... Please disregard this thread!

I recently decided to start gaming some Skyrim again after a far too long absence, and decided to reinstall my entire game and download updated versions of many of my favorite mods. After installing what I think are the most essential mods, I quickly realized in character creation that there was something seriously wrong with my character's eyes. They were glossy and quite unnatural, and changing eye color had absolutely no effect. After systematically deleting every single conceivable mod that could cause this, I still had the same problem. I then tried disabling ALL mods and tried restarting the game. Sure enough, I was in the carriage to Riften with three other guys with no eyes. I have absolutely no idea how I should fix this other than reinstalling the whole game yet again, and I would really like to not have hours of mod installs, ENB/Skse/FNIS etc installations go to waste. Here's the list of mods that could possibly have caused this: High Quality Eyes Normal Dawnguard Vampire Faces High Quality Eyes - Tried with covereyes as well Inhabitants of Skyrim Inhabitants of Skyrim - Character presets Apachii Sky Hair Skyrim HD Textures Full(all 5) Project ENB RaceMenu Skyrim Redone All mods are up-to-date, my game has all the DLC and final patch. If anybody could help me out with this I'd be really grateful.

Infinite loading only when leaving DLC areas
GRFenrir replied to GRFenrir's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Indeed I have. Is this what's causing the problem? I should also mention I use HD textures and Climates of Tamriel. -
I have a strange bug which cause infinite loading screen only when leaving Dragonborn/Dawnguard areas and reentering Skyrim. This does not happen anywhere else, and occurs without fail everytime I leave areas like Dayspring Canyon and Solstheim. I can fix this by COC'ing to an interior locale like Bee and Barb, and then leaving that locale, but that's quickly becoming tedious. Does anybody know what could be the cause of this problem?

Cannot leave Solstheim, causes "infinite load" screen
GRFenrir replied to Rolandito's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Had exactly the same issue, could travel anywhere on Solstheim just fine, but could not travel back to skyrim. As I don't own any homes I used "coc riftenbeeandbarb" first, but got infinite load screen when trying to enter Riften. Then I used "coc solitudewinkingskeever", and everything solved itself for no appearent reason. Not going back to Solstheim anytime soon, that's for sure. -
In terms of appearence I think both the mods look great, but I eventually ended up on Calientes simply due to the excellent armor retexture mod the author made.

It's all in here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33995//? Just open the .pdf, and scroll to the appropriate skill section, and there'll be a list of the spells in that school.

Keeping two separate instances of Skyrim installed
GRFenrir replied to GRFenrir's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Tried changing NMM's install directory to the copied directory, and installed a couple of mods. Works like a charm... Except when I switch back to the original directory NMM thinks the mods i installed at the copied directory is installed in the original directory. Is there a way to manually mark the mods as not assigned? I noticed there's an option for mark ALL mods as unassigned, but that's not what I want. -
1) Now, I'm only a layman, but I had similar scaling issues with armor, spells, mobs etc. Using this tool fixed everything for me: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28467/? It basically converts all the numerical values of your mods to a SkyRe-appropriate level, and saves this file as an .esp 2) I believe the armor difference between light and heavy armor is larger than in vanilla. 3) It might be a hassle, but completing the Dragonborn quest-line allows you to respec. I guess there's plenty of mods out there for this as well.

I've been thinking lately that it would be wonderful to have two separate installs of Skyrim, given the increasing number of mods I would not want to use in conjunction with others(Tropical Skyrim started it all). For instance, I would have different armor mods installed, different ENB setting and I would have to disable a host of other mods that completely break the immersion with a Tropical Skyrim. If I just copied the entire Skyrim directory, with all my mods, SKSE, ENB, the whole thing, and pasted it in another location... 1) Would the copied version even work? 2) Would NexusModManager manage to properly keep track of installed mods of that particular Skyrim install?

I'm thinking of starting an archivist character with the objective of collecting all the books, and wonder if there's a nice player-home with a vast bookshelf section I can store them in?

I have a strange problem which only seems to be affecting one of my characters. Whenever the light drops beneath a certain threshold(basically when I'm in dungeons and during nighttime), night-eye is automatically enabled. Which is really bumming me out, since I'm using the Project Reality mod, and I want that darkness! I'm playing as a Nord, I'm not a vampire, and there are no active effects or items equipped offering any explanation as to why this is happening. I initially thought that this was a conflict with mods or something, but this ONLY affects that particular character. I've tried waiting for days to see if the effect expires, but that didn't work. So if anybody has any advice on this matter, it's much appreciated!
