Oh nice, this should be interesting! Thanks for clarifying!
-
Honestly I didn't know that was a thing. I saw a screenshot of another mod author getting that notification for getting over 1k unique downloads and I'm curious to know why this hasn't happened to me yet. My overall unique downloads are about 4800.
-
Just exactly what I needed to know, I did bump into this guide and I obviously intent to use it as it's been a while since I visited Skyrim Nexus.
-
Does LE run good on Windows 10? I recently bought an RTX 2070 with an SSD and I'm ready to throw in some phat ENBs with 4k textures.
-
First and foremost, I have recently discovered about a tweak TextureMemoryBudget, some people claim that it helps with stuttering, others claim that it straight up ruins the game. I have changed mine to 1600 as I have a gtx 970, but I still have my doubts about it. Has anyone actually tried this before and care to share their experience when it comes to the overall game stability? Has it also increased your mod limit?
Also I would like to know a few things about the mod limit that exists in this game. I currently have 51 mods installed 12 of them are merged with mod merger and my game loads fine. Although I would like to know what happens when you reach the limit, does the game not load at all? Do you get infinite load screens? Are there chances that some mods might not even load?

Ignore the title, I'm actually using SoS.
Just to get straight to the point, I'm using HDT Geralt's hair, and every time I undress my character, his hair just floats over his shoulders just like this:
http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa336/alikianos94/enb%202016_04_10%2021_06_05_65_zps7hfx5rwd.jpg
When I wear any piece of clothing hair turn back to normal just like this:
http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa336/alikianos94/enb%202016_04_10%2021_06_07_60_zpsihy1qwdf.jpg
Any help on fixing this would be very much appreciated.

This has been bothering me for quite a while and I'm pretty astonished that there's no such mod to remedy it. For some magical reason, when you try to turn left or right with the 'WASD' keys the transition is really blocky. For instance, you press the 'D' key, and BOOM suddenly you're facing 45° like nothing happened. The worst part comes when you spam the 'A' and 'D' keys, GOD that feels spiky. Anyway, the weirdest thing though is, when you get over-encumbered suddenly the animations turn really smooth, like next-gen s#*! smooth. How does that work? Is there any way to fix this?
-
I'm totally with you mate! Witcher 3 has some amazing hairstyles!
-
Do you mean the KS Hairdos Renewal or the other one with the HDT? That mod seems female-only kind of.
I tried both (KS Renewal and HDT), well even though the hairstyles are great when it comes to quality, they aren't lore friendly.
-
Someone please make this hairstyle happen! \o/
http://i.imgur.com/BVaHYzG.jpg
It's literally my favorite hairstyle of all time, now many of you will say that there's a mod for it. I know that. It's called lovely hairstyles and all of it's available hairstyles are female-only. It would be awesome if someone could convert the said hairstyle for males and possibly add HDT physics to it.

@Boombro *shrugs* Does Seasons of Skyrim count as a heavy ENB?
@Novem99 Using an ENB won't make the game less stable right? I mean apart from losing 20-30 fps (which I don't mind at all).
-
Yup, I getcha, it seems unreasonable using 2k textures for items that you barely notice in-game. Still though I don't want to be humble about it, I want to squeeze the life out of my gpu.
-
This question was prolly asked before but I'm too lazy to search for it.. Anyway, I would be very pleased if any of you guys who know way more than I do help me on this.
First of all, my specs:
CPU - Core i7 4770K @3.50 GHz
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming (3.5 GB VRAM)
Ram - 8GB DDR3
OS - Windows 10 PRO
(I think that's sufficient for you)
So lets get to the main topic.
As I said on the title I want to go full 2K on my playthrough (maybe a few 4k textures here and there, but not too much of 'em), and I want to know if it would be ok using them before I start downloading for no reason. I've heard about Skyrim's leaky memory bug and I'm already prepared for it. I'm using ENBoost (not sure if that's gonna help) plus skse.ini with the following settings:
[General]
ClearInvalidRegistrations=1
[Display]
iTintTextureResolution=2048
[Memory]
defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024 (not sure about these two)
scrapHeapSizeMB=384Other than that, I have to ask. Does any of you play the game with full 2k textures? Can you describe your experience? -
It took me about 2 hours straight to make my load order as precise as it can get but still I have my doubts and since I'm not as experienced as others I would like your opinion on it. Here it goes:

You have to excuse me for necroposting but I've encountered that myself and I've been searching for a fix with no luck. I've been searching through the animation mods one by one and I've found nothing in there also. Yet again sorry for bumping this. But I guess it's better than creating a new topic.
-
Good to know, I'll give this a shot when I get home. Thanks for the feedback.
Edit: You sir were actually right. I didn't know new vegas had moon phases, I've never encountered one before no matter how many hours I've played the game. Thank you a billion times!
-
First of all there was an existing topic on the same glitch here, although there are no replies in it so I thought I should create a new one.
This glitch has recently occurred to my game and I can't fix it. I've literally tried EVERYTHING, by saying everything I mean:
1) Enabling the archive invalidation. Nothing happened.
2) Disabled my ENB, nothing.
3) Disabling all mods. Game crashed due to FCO, which has nothing to do with this afaik. So I re-enabled fco to check back in game. Moon was still pitch black.
4) I've reinstalled nevada skies. No luck.
5) Reinstalled the game, nothing.
6) Tinkered with my gpu settings. Nothing.
7) Updated graphics drivers. Yet again nothing.
The only thing that seemed to work was to start a new game with all my mods enabled. That somehow did the job and the moon was looking normal again. Although I'm kinda far away from the main story and I don't feel like starting a new game not until I find the source of the problem. Anyway here's an example image of the glitch:

So I want to mod my Skyrim save on my Xbox live account purely for debugging purposes only. I do not like cheating as this will ruin the whole entertainment in game. I know how to mod my save (since I have searched for tutorials on Google) but I have some questions.
First of all I ran across that "icy feet" glitch which looks like this (the only difference is that the smoke remains on my feet only not in the whole body): http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/14718-3-1357285773.jpg. The only way to fix this is, if you have the PC version you open up the console and remove the aura. But the thing is that the Xbox 360 does not have a console.
In other words, I want to port my Skyrim save on my PC, open it up there, fix the bug and then load it back on Xbox again, I do not have any intention of cheating (like adding money, messing up with levels and so on so forth).
Question is though, will I get banned if I modify my save only to fix that glitch? There is no other way and of course I am playing Skyrim on my live account. I do not feel like starting a new game on a local account because raising my character from scratch is a real pain in the @!#.
Any help would be much appreciated.

So I am facing a parallel problem, my game freezes every 3-5 minutes for 20 secs or more, then it unfreezes and does the same thing on loop. The sounds are playing on the background just the models are frozen. I've tried Verifying my Cache on Steam but it did not help. My save file is around 24,5 Mb. It wasn't that big save file since I have seen saves like 100 Mb and more. So I started a new game with the same mods applied just to ensure that the problem wasn't the mods that I have installed. Indeed the problem was not the mods but my save file. When I started a new game I didn't have any problem and everything was going fluently. So I guess it must be the size of my save file, still though I am not that sure. Has anyone had the same problem as me? If yes is there any possible solution for that? Apart from starting a new game again? I have done this 4 times and believe me its really exhausting.
-
It seems that I am an error-resolver, I've found what was the problem, in my strings folder there were no Skyrim_English files. I noticed that by re-installing another copy of Skyrim onto a new location and I checked all of the folders and I just saw that. I have fixed my problem. Let this topic be in case someone has the same problem with me.
-
So here is my problem, after updating to the newest patch via Steam, after the installation of this patch when I entered into the game I saw that all of the sounds were working except the voices of the npcs and my character even the lips of the other characters wouldn't move. I couldn't growl when I did a powerful attack and there was no voice when I used unrelenting force and other Thu'um shouts. I tried talking to NPCs they wouldn't speak and the subtitles were going really fast. I could clearly hear the sword swing and generally every other sound but voices.
I did a search on google about my issue and I found some topics on that, hopelessly nothing helped or nothing was near to my problem.

I don't think that there is any problem on the .ini files as far as I see at least. Of course I don't wanna try re-installing the game because I have like 60 mods and more working and I don't feel like reinstalling all of them, it takes time. So any help would be much appreciated.

I've decided to open a thread like this because I am really curious to see other people's characters and maybe get some inspiration to modify my own character too. So I will start first:

Found this mod too: envision Face I have to test it out though. Silly me, I didn't do any good search... There are so many solutions to my problem. The next time I will be more careful before requesting something.
That actually looks like the common Grey-Face-bug that happens when existing NPCs are changed. I think there is a tutorial on how to fix it:
Indeed there is a fix for it, didn't notice it, well TexBlend got the job done for me. :P
Edit Bellow:
It seems I fixed that bug, as elricshan said, there was actually a fix at cbbe archives, when I've got the .rar file there was an "Options" folder inside there is a tool called TexBlend that fixes that bug. I should again be more aware.
-
After hours of searching I've found what was I looking for. Its not a collar but well I think it covers all the mess. For anyone who wants to get the mod, its called Scarves of Skyrim by Natterforme. Sorry for bumping my thread. You can lock it.
