  1. ok yeah i have done that to make sure the new clip worked, But wouldnt that just fully change the base game file on my pc and not associate it with the mod im working on. unless i make a new script, sorry im new to scripting
  2. Yes I have the interface file extracted from ba2. That's where I found the original swf file. I then made brand new ui perk clip that I want to replace an existing perk clip. The new clip is in swf format. I want to replace the current ui perk clip with new one in creation kit, but I cannot find where any of the perkclips are used in the creation kit. I haven't been able to find any link that references to the ui_perkclipxxxx.swf
  3. hello i am trying to locate in the creation kit where they have the ui perk animations for fallout 4. Like the little UI animation if idiot savant or critical hit happens. I know where they are in the fallout 4 folder, but not where they are in the creation kit. I made a new ui animation but i can not find where to change it in the CK any and all help is appreciated thanks in advance.

  5. Hello everyone. I have modded a little before, its been a couple years. i was working on a mod back then getting overly frustrated with it and put it on the back burner stopped modding. I'm trying to get back and work on my mod again. So now when i go in to CK i can change textures, add a new nif. It will all work and show just fine in CK. when i save it and start up fallout it doesn't work. if i change just a texture, it works in ck but in game it is the vanilla texture. when i add the Nif it works in CK but in game there is absolutely nothing there. I am getting confused. So if someone could help me, Maybe i am missing something I don't remember Please help

  7. ok so i watch a few more videos. found one that help and i am so close i can get my new mesh to open up and work in CK but when i place it in game and save. I will start up the game, wheni start loading my saved game. Fallout 4 will just crash and completely close Here is what my object look like in nifskope. i cant find anything on the internet about this it is always ck crashing and no the game opposite of what my problem is. if i missed something please help
  8. From what you said, I'm confused what it is you think you need to do, or are trying to do with NifSkope that you don't know how to do? It would be helpful to have a detailed list of steps that you have done so we know what you still need to do to advise you. In particular also which method of getting it into a nif you used. There are a few and depending on how you got it there, there are different steps that may need to be taken (or could be skipped). Like, if you used the Bethesda nif exporter there's a lot that can be assumed and skipped. If you used Figment's plugin there's a lot that's broken and has to be completely redone. If you used one of the other export plugins I can't help you. If you put it in Outfit Studio and made it a nif, it's going to be royally messed up because it has an animation skin. Since you said it's a alcohol still and not weapon or armor. Is this item going to be a static, furniture, activator?A Workshop item?Does it have/need animation markers?Does it have/need collision?If you used Bethesda's exporter have you already run it through Elric?Are your textures already in DDS format?Did you already make material files? sorry i dont know much about this. It is a 3d model i downloaded. The download came with the .obj file and a .mtl file the textures are in .dds. I just want it to be static. I used outfit studio, following a video tutorial and forums, If there is an easier way i am more than willing to learn
  9. neither its a still, like and alcohol still. this is in 3DS Max i have the .obj file and a .mtl file, like i said i have converted it over to a .nif
  10. hello i am trying to figure out how to bring in a completely 100% new mesh. I have watch tons of videos and read forum upon forums. A lot of them are using a similar mesh as though mine is not like anything. I have 3ds max also blender, also have got my mesh converted to a .Nif, But completely lost and confused what to do in Nifskope. If someone could help me it would be much appreciated
  11. yes i opened the bottles .nif in Nifskope and was able to attach the right textures where i wanted them. I still consider myself a complete noob to all of this, there is just so much i dont know or understand in CK. but i really apreciate all the help
  12. yeah i have extracted those bottle textures confused on those but have a couple new ideas to try. yes i do those steps. making the texture, bgsm, material swap, then edit. the buffout i cant figure out tho either. the label was on the the texture put my new label over it flattenedit save and did all the steps. the new texture is there but the original buffout label is over my new label. you can kinda see the new black and silver label behind the buffout label.
  13. hello i am trying to locate and edit Labels like on beer and whiskey bottles buff out label. i found the textures for whiskey labels edited it saved and brought it into the game but wont change the label in CK or in game. i did make the material swap for them too . tried with buffout found texture for buffout had label on texture. i edited that and brought it into the game, the the original buffout lable appeared above my custom label on the texture. My other texture work fine but for some reason I cant get lablels to work. PLS Help and Thank you

  15. i had made a new interior. The LOD was set to commonwealth on interior Data, i changed it to interior and all that went away. Thank you for your help on that. i am curious tho what do you mean by you think i have bigger issues?
  16. hi first time modder here. i watched a lot of videos and have the jist of it. i am having an issue while making the second floor on my interior design.in the creation kit everything looks fine, but when i go and play the game to check it out. it seems like there are building from the outside world clipping in throught the roof. I had removed part of the roof and loaded the game to see what was the problem, thats when i noticed a really bad render of somewhere in the commonwealth i guess my question is how to get rid of that rendering
