  1. I've been making some modifications to the Triss Armor by Psyke23 (using a seperate esp). I duplicated the armor piece, changed the form id, and changed the world model. I also changed the body model to a helmet from the TERA Armors pack (it uses circlets instead of helmets, and I want the helmet bonuses from Frostfall and the armor perks) and selected the "head" options in the model & the item properties.

    When I put it on in-game, my head is invisible.

    I'm a novice with the CK so any help is appreciated.

  2. I'm currently only using RLO and CoT. I'm also using an ENB...however it is still noticeable and in places it wasn't before. Even when I'm only looking at a single light

    It doesn't have to do with the lights themselves but the light sources. The Creation Engine only allows for 4 light sources at a time. Any more than that and Skyrim picks the first light you aren't looking at and disables it.

  3. Like we've said before it's an engine issue and we all have to deal with it (Bethesda would have to rebuild the lighting system to fix it). I find that with RLO it happens less, though I use an ENB so maybe I don't notice it because of the much more refined shadows.

    You CAN use Climates of Tamriel + RLO or CoT + ELFX. You just can't use ELFX and RLO at the same time.

  4. If I reinstalled the loose files version of CoT (which I think might be it) and then the loose files of the other lighting mods could whatever needs to be overwritten be overwritten or would that not solve anything? I'll still post my load order and mods list before I do anything though.

    That wouldn't do anything. The bottom line is RLO and ELFX are incompatible and can't work together, period.You've got to choose one or the other.

  5. My load order is:

    SkyUI

    Unread Books Glow

    Stones of Barenziah Quest Marker

    Item Sorting

    Leveling Merchant's Wallets

    Bandolier - Bags and Pouches

    Flexible Perk Trees

    Passive Race Abilities

    Better Fast Travel

    Breezehome Enhanced

    I have installed skyrim with Steam

    You don't have a lot of mods but running BOSS is always helpful. Also, like Lisnpuppy said, when you have a lot of things in a container/your inventory SkyUI will lag due to the sheer amount of items.

  6. Alrdy tried Enabling compatiblity with mod direct3d runtime worked for a while than it stopped. Anybody know any way to run it at same time?

    Try using the injector version of ENB. To do so, download the desired ENBSeries version and extract ENBInjector.exe, enbinjector.ini, and enbseries.dll, and enbhost.exe from Injector-Version to your main Skyrim folder (DELETE d3d9.dll!)

    Then, edit enbinjector.ini to your needs. For example, with SKSE, it would look like:

    ---

    [LIBRARY]

    LibraryName=enbseries.dll

    [TARGETPROCESS]

    ProcessName0=skse_loader.exe

    ProcessName1=SkyrimLauncher.exe

    ProcessName2=tesv.exe

    ---

    This might not work, however. I tried it with DxTory and it wasn't working. The reason for it crashing Skyrim is because both the ENB dlls and RivaTuner OSD are trying to "wrap" around the same program, causing the ENB to crash and the game as well.

  7. So i have installed the mod correctly and I know I did because the Mod shows in the Mod Configuration section in the main menu. But i have set the kill moves to 100% to test it, and every time i killed someone

    ( i was testing this on whiterun Guards) there would be no kill move. They would simply just die normally when their health reaches 0. Why? I have the option of having only the last enemy kill move UNCHECKED and the perks UNCHECKED. so i dont see why it will not work. Sometimes I did get some kill moves, but most where skyrim's vanilla kill moves. Did I screw something up?

    Thanks

    Try running GenerateFNISForUsers and see if that helps at all.

  8. I may have sorted out the problem by going through the enbseries file. After disabling both the Ambient Occlusion and Volumetric Rays, the flickering has stopped for the textures and sky. I'll see how it works out and update this post for anyone else having this issue.

    Disabling Ambient Occlusion and Volumetric Rays kills the point of having an ENB, especially for AO. You can confirm this yourself, actually: Press SHIFT+ENTER in-game to open the ENB editor and tick the checkmark that says "AmbientOcclusion." It makes a huge difference, especially for soft shadows and small objects. Volumetric Rays are a lighting effect that's like Godrays for smaller objects. I highly reccomend that you ask SkyrimTuner for help at his forum.

  9. hmm back to all my weapon mods then..what a bake this is

    EDIT* Just redid all my weapon mods, issue still there. Could it be one of the HD packs? I have Skyrim HD Textures for Dungeons, Towns, Riften, Misc and Landscapes and I've also installed Skyrim Ultra HD Texture Pack and then overwritten anything that appears. Maybe the issue or not?

    I have the same issue with the Skyforge Steel Bow. It's caused by aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Weapons. I don't use that bow so I never bothered redownloading the mod, but if you have it installed, downloading a new copy may fix it.

  10. Most of Skyrim's textures are contained in a BSA, I believe. This will unpack them for you: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4804/?

    Otherwise look in Data\textures. You will need NVIDIA Texture Tools for Photoshop to work with the dds extension that textures use (https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop).

    Some textures actually use the .nif format, and you'll need to use NifSkope to edit them (http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope).

    My advice is to simply look at existing textures and how they're applied in the CK, copy them onto your NPCs and play around with them. This will give you safe enviornment to screw around with and not cause damage.

  11. Hi guys got a quick question about Enb´s, can it be possible that the max quality version of RealVision ENB causes quickload and quicksave CTD´s? because i tried uninstalling it and it worked flawlessly after 50 quickloads/saves^^ so i guess my problem was the enb?

    Hardware(what i found out so far^^)

    AMD Fx 8150 Eight core Processor 3.60ghz

    msi hd 7870 twinfrozr 2gd5 / oc

    Did you uninstall the ENB itself or the associated mods (Climates of Tamriel, RLO/ELFX, etc.)? ENB is only a graphics mod so I doubt it would have any conflicts with quicksaving.

  12. Figured it out! I deleted my Skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini and simply had the game automatically recreate them (I ran the launcher to produce a new skyrimprefs file, closed out of that, and ran SKSE to get the skyrim.ini up).

    The vanilla ini's aren't made for ENB mods and need some settings changed for it to work properly.

    Use EWI's ini files like SkyrimTuner suggests and see if you still have the weird sun.

    EWI's ini's have some unsafe edits so you should clean them with the recently released stability guides, but otherwise they should work fine.

  13. So I thought to play Skyrim with no mods for a while I reinstalled it 3 times to make it just right and no mods attached..My computer is not that good but not that bad and I usually play skyrim on high. I started up a new game and my quality was on ultra then after like 20 seconds it crashed. Then I started it on High and it lasted longer but crashed after Ralof started speaking to me..I'm very annoyed that I can't play my favourite game..Mods or no mods.

    Saw your other topic.

    Can you start Skyrim and monitor your computer's temperature? You can try programs like HWMonitor. If vanilla Skyrim crashes but lasts longer on a lower graphics setting it sound like something is wrong with your GPU or its drivers.

  14. I would think it's an issue with one of the ENB patches, though it could be a host of other things too.

    SkyrimTuner (RealVision's creator) has his own forums where he can directly help you himself, I suggest you ask him there (forum.skyrimtuner.com).
