So I ultimately did get this. Seddon's videos are really good. Thanks for the help. I got far there's just so many fiddly bits that I never got anywhere without making a ton of mistakes first. Random responses, persuasion, branching conversations... I eventually had a stupid Seddon NPC who I could bully about his looks. Humorously, I was so satisfied I went and built some of this into my mod so my character would tell her story. Happy ending right? Until I put in a second NPC with much simpler more random lines. I copied her from the first, it should have been fool proof! (I need that apparently) Now they both speak as though they're the second NPC. <insert deep sigh here> It really is impressive all you can do with this but I feel like what this system desperately needs is a simple thread of logic you can follow so that you don't get overwhelmed by the opening and closing of a million windows. Maybe a visualization of how the process has you digging down into particular lines, maybe the window should change tint to illustrate how you're digging down a layer deeper into the same piece. It really does seem like this is the meaty center of working with creation kit so it seems worth the time considering how to make it clear. Thanks again for the help.
