I picked up RDR2 on pS4 a while back after hearing that it had matured into a really good game. Overall I agree but i would add that for the casual gamer the priority on "immersion" is a tic gratuitous... With the Spring Sale I decided to buy it Steam so I could maybe use mods to overcome some of what I consider to be game-design shortcomings. Back in the days of Neverwinter Nights & Morrowind I was into moding. Now I'm old and cranky and just want s#*! to work so I can explore the game the way I want. Below is a list of mods I've put together for a first PC runthru and am soliciting advice on if these will play nice together and if I am missing anything critical for ease of use/stability. I am still looking for a mod that removes the animations (and hence 85% of the tedium) of looting/skinning/harvesting

Dog Companion (+ Shut Up Dogs?)
*Does the dog get in the way or cause issues with stealth/hunting?
Visual Redemption (+ Reshade?)
*Does this make it harder to find things in the ground cover?
Bandit Hideouts
*Intriguing way to have something to do in epilogue/post-game but seems a tic intrusive during the story
Bounty Hunting - Expanded and Enhanced
*Kind of the same as Bandit Hideouts but maybe unintrusive enough to use during the story
Some mods use loaders some do not. Can non-loader mods be used within a loader? Is there any benefit to doing so?
Thanks in advance
