Okay that's fine. I realized today I need to edit those parts out anyway because, while they work well for me, that's only because I have the mod those parts come from installed. If you don't have them installed my mod doesn't work as well. So I'm editing them out to make it more universal. But what about my other two questions? Once its edited I still need to know those.

Hello all. I made a race mod and wanted to post it but I have a few questions. First, how do I take screen shots? I want to have at least a few so people can decide if they like it. Second, I use Robert's male body replacer & HGEC. I have them both set to allow nudity but I know they have underwear options. So since I made it in my game will this contain nudity automatically or will it be dependent on individual settings? Lastly, I made the textures using pieces of other textures made by another modder. I sent a request asking if this was okay but never heard back from them. Is it okay to post this as long as I still give them credit? or should I hold off?

Unfortunately I don't know how to make a mod. Do you know any good tutorials for making an NPC?

Hello, I’m looking for a couple of mods that may or may not exist. Okay so first of all I just installed a bunch of new playable race mods. I love em all but when I play one I feel like I’m going extinct being the only one. I want to add these races to the world itself as NPCs. I came across a few race replacement mods but these were all specific replacements and didn’t even use any of the races I liked. Besides I don’t want to sacrifice one race for another just add more. So I’m looking for a mod that can add NPCs but draw from my mod races. They don’t have to be all that developed just enough to show there’s more than one of these races. If that is not possible, or just too big a project, how about a race change spell? That would allow me to change just a some individuals rather than mod out an entire race. But it would have to allow race selection when used. I don’t just want to create more of myself but I want to create more diversity in the world itself. The second thing I’m looking for is a couple of body replacement mods. I already used the HGEC Body with BBB v1dot12 and RobertMaleBodyReplacerV52. I like these for most the races but not all. I like my orcs to be muscular regardless of gender and my elves to be slight, even femboyish in the case of the males. Is there a mod that will let me alter these races without affecting the bodies of the others? So those are what I’m looking for. Do any of you know anything that comes close? If not then pretty please to all modders could you make something? Especially the first one, it would be amazing.

Okay I think I got this figured out. I got a lot of advice from various sources & I think I'm good. I've got the body replacers installed and I guess time will tell from there but I'm at least starting to figure out what I'm doing. Thanks everyone.

Still no luck, but I did manage to get one mod to work. I've posted this same question in several places and someone suggested the HGEC Body with BBB v1dot12. I got it to work but I still can’t get anything else to function. I have the Tes Mod Manager and have followed all the instructions, as best I could, for both the “How to install oblivion mods” and the individual mods themselves (currently trying to get RobertMaleBodyReplacerV52 to work). I’ve clicked the appropriate check boxes in the mod manager but it doesn’t seem to do anything. The only reason the HGEC one worked was because it installed differently, using the activate button on the bottom of the mod manger instead of the check boxes on the left. Any idea what I’m still missing?

The first mod I was going to install was the Demon race I found on Spellhold Studios http://www.shsforums.net/files/file/541-chingari-and-ismeldas-demon-race/ but it required a few body replacement mods found here (Exnem female eyecandy body replacer either version or TeamFF Fantasy Figures & Roberts male body replacer.). That’s how I came across this site in the first place. Anyway I tried all the body replacers and nothing changed. The instructions say to just copy the mod to Oblivion’s Data folder but that doesn’t seem to be enough. I’m sure I’m missing something obvious since I’ve never done this before, but I haven’t a clue as to what.

Hello, I'm new to the modding scene and was wondering if anyone could help me get started. I feel very overwhelmed by everything and my attempts at installing have been completely unsuccessful so far. Can anyone tell me how to install these mods and maybe suggest some good mods to start with?
