I tried doing some of my own edited to the Mass Effect 2 coalesced last night, using this guide (https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/91), but when I put the newly edited coalesced file into the BioGame folder, I don't think any of the changes took effect. I used edit suggestions from the Mass Effect wiki PC Tweaks page, such as "unlocking squad appearances" by editing the plot flags. When I go back into the game, the edit doesn't work, however when I would have unlocked an alternate outfit (through loyalty missions), I no longer have the option to swap to it, showing me that something changed. I am just not really familiar with editing coalesceds for Mass Effect 2, especially the new way, and am unsure if this is a common issue or not. I would also like to note that downloading someone else's edit through the Nexus does take effect, so maybe I edited it incorrectly somehow? It never threw back any errors so I am unsure. Any insight would be appreciated!

So I was doing some mesh editing today in the Mass Effect Coalesced Editor, and I was wondering if it's "easy" to use it to replace EDI's Normandy or casual mesh with one she wears in combat so she is wearing clothes all the time? I know there was a mod for the original Mass Effect 3 that gave her a scientist outfit, but I'd be happy with her wearing one of the catsuits, and it seems like it would be easier. Is it feasible to use the Coalesced Editor or does it require different programs to make happen? Thanks!

So I'm trying to run a few UI/HUD editing mods together, and because not all of them are covered under Unified HUD, they aren't cooperating. Mods Used: User Interface Organizer NVSE Mod Configuration Menu JIP LN NVSE Plugin One HUD Project Nevada/DLC/Extra Options Solid Project (Companion Wheel and Quick Equip Wheel) Weapons Name Display The Weapon Mod Menu The HUDs from Project Nevada and Solid Project are working as intended. The adjustable and immersive HUDs from one HUD, as well as the weapons name display, are not. I can't even interact with them in MCM. Most of the check marks do nothing when I click on them, and the adjustable parts do nothing when I try to move them around. I'm flexible if some of them have to be removed because they absolutely won't work together, I'm just frustrated because I'm not sure where the problem is. I've also tried to make a patch in FNVedit and none of them are interested in it.

When starting my save game for Skyrim on the PC today, everything seemed pretty fine, until it actually loaded: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/jimmy_the_fairy/UponSaveLoad_zpsd38b8b76.jpg I have Classic Classes and Birthsigns installed, and it gives me this prompt. But when I go to look at my character: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/jimmy_the_fairy/NoMesh_zpsae9623e0.jpg Okay, she has no clothes or weapons, or a head mesh. She was certainly not looking like this yesterday. When I opened her inventory: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/jimmy_the_fairy/Inventory_zpseb3f0c8f.jpg She only has a her quest items, and absolutely nothing else. As for powers, she still has all her unlocked shouts, and the perk tree has been mostly maintained (with a few perk points returned). I used to have the Cartographers Map Markers installed, but I came across the Atlas Map Markers mod, and wanted to give that a try instead. Now I know it's bad to uninstall/install mods mid-game, but I haven't had any real problems before. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk93/jimmy_the_fairy/Map_zpsc77c79bd.jpgI installed version 1.64 Complete with NMM, with options for all the DLC's. This type of situation has occurred before on a lower leveled character, and my only solution was make a new character. Her head mesh was gone, as was Jenassa's, who was a follower at the time. No other NPCs seem to be effected, and the comment on my lack of clothes. I use Custom Races, with the CustomWoodElf race, but it appears that my character was reverted to the normal Wood Elf race (she has a normal, not custom, skin). I'm rather hesitant to just scrap this save because she is level 30, but I'm willing to if there is no way to salvage my character. Thanks in advance for any help/advice anyone can offer.

(image enclosed) Today, I downloaded some new mods for my Skyrim game. When I go into TES5Edit to clean the new files and make a patch, I get these weird error messages. It doesn't specify where the errors are coming from, (the new mods, old mods, gnomes?) just that they're happening. Any suggestions on how to fix this, or what those error messages even mean? Thanks!

Hey there! I have a question about making custom perks, and then adding them to a custom race. With races like the Playable Tribals and the Desert Succubus, picking that race will automatically give you a perk. I would like to create a custom race of my Lone Wanderer, but also give it a perk that is similar to Daddy's Girl/Boy,slight rad resistance boost. I know how to make a race, but when it comes to making perks, I'm kind of stuck. I get the name, image, playable/trait/hidden stuff, but when it comes to actually making the perk is where I'm confused. I don't really understand how the conditions and effect of it work? Like, how do you set these things? I tried looking at existing perks, but seeing it's effects as "cyborg perk - cyborg perk effect" isn't very helpful. I also wanted to know if anyone knew where race presets are held? I used the FNVFace Ripper thing, and made a plugin file of the face, but I don't know how to apply it to the game, or more importantly, the GECK? [i would like to make a race with the face, but change the body texture] Any help would be greatly appreciated! -Vintage

FOSE Working with Steam
VintageRawr replied to VintageRawr's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
It took me a while to figure out how to get FOSE to work on my Fallout 3. D; When you get it out of the zip file, you want to make sure that it goes into here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 3 goty Once it's in there, it will have an application called "fose loader". That's what you have to run the game through. I just stuck mine on the desktop, and obviously, you can run it through Steam. If you aren't using something like Fallout Mod Manager, than you have to run the normal Fallout 3 launcher to get to the data files check list, then just exit it and load through the fose loader. So the main thing is just to make sure it's going into the main Fallout 3 folder, and not the data or something [the mistake I originally made]. It should work than! -
Okay, so I did everything and now my game is working fine! There were a couple mods that were conflicting with each other, which has been fixed with a merger patch. I also deleted the mods I was never going to use, which really freed up some space. My games is working perfectly now. [or, as perfectly as New Vegas can] Thank you so much!

Hello! It seems I only post here when I have never-ending problems. Anyways, I was playing New Vegas last night, happy as a clam, just made it to Novac, then the game crashes. Okay, it does that ever so often. I go to load it back up, and it keeps crashing to the desktop. I try unchecking the most recently-added mods, but that doesn't help either. Now, I try to understand the load orders, but I tend to have problems with them. The main parts I get are; official DLC's on top, and the mods closest to the bottom will overwrite things in mods above them. Okay, seeing my mods laid out like this makes me feel like I have a serious problem. But if anyone had some advice on how to get everything to place nice together, that would be fantastic, because I have been troubleshooting and researching all day, and have yet to find a solution. Thanks! -Vintage

Hello! I have been trying to find this mod all day, but I just can't seem to find it. :/ Perhaps someone here knows where it is? http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/images/11329-1-1266663001.jpg It's the part that shows the date and time. It would be really helpful, instead of bring up the wait screen, which you can't always do because there are "enemies" around. [read: mole rats three miles away] Please and thank you! -Vintage

FOSE Working with Steam
VintageRawr replied to VintageRawr's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks so much! Worked like a charm. -
Hi! I recently bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition during the Steam Summer Sale, and I really enjoy playing the game through Steam, using the screenshot feature and being able to chat with someone well I play. However, when you want to play with Fallout Script Extender, you have to launch it through the FOSE Launcher, which takes away the Steam community features. IK am trying to run iHud, aHud and Stimpak Counter, but when it's ran through a FOSE launched game, the stimpak counter is falling off the screen, and it's just confusing and horrible. Does anyone have any advice on how to get FOSE to work with a Steam-launched game, or am I just asking too much? [if you need any technical information, I'm running the game on a Dell XPS with Windows 7, with a screen resolution of 1280x720. The game has been completely patched, and I have all the DLCs (obviously)] Thanks! -Vintage

How do you make a player house?
VintageRawr replied to VintageRawr's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Thank you so much! This will really help! -
I just recently got Fallout: New Vegas for the PC, and am loving all the mods! However, for a particular character, her back story contains a home on the outskirts of Camp Searchlight. I've found where the existing building is, but I'd like to turn it into a functioning player home. Seeing as so many player homes have been made, I was hoping someone might know of a tutorial on making one? I've tried googling under several different keywords and phrases and have come up empty-handed. Please and thank you! -Vintage
