I've been in the process of creating an NPC overhaul mod for Fallout 4. I'm using Looksmenu to create presets, creating an .esp in FO4edit, then using FaceRipper to transfer the preset onto the NPC in said plugin. Everything was going smooth until I tried eding Darcy Pembroke. When I'd go into game my replacer .esp I made was having no effect. I finally realized that the id number Fallout 4 is giving me for the NPC isn't matching the id number that FO4edit is giving for the same NPC. I'm at a loss on how to proceed.

Everything I've read so far, the way faces are rigged to the body are different in each game. So I'm assuming it's not possible, but hoping someone with more kung fu skill has any ideas.

Two separate people have made horse mods for Fallout New Vegas, not made public though. So it's very much possible, it's just a matter of someone with the skills and willingness to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2snT_23KqM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJs7kByBtis

I always thought this would be really cool but I guess the question is if it's mechanically possible?
