I'm a newbie to using NifSkope and had just downloaded it a day ago from posting this. I downloaded the NifSkope 2.0 Dev 7 release from the developer's GitHub page and extracted all of the files via WinRAR. However whenever I attempt to run the executable, I only get a blue spinning loading icon for a brief 5 seconds until it disappears. The only pop-up message that I get is for User Account Control access. After I hit "Yes" it goes back to the blue spinning loading icon and disappears without opening anything. There's no other pop-up messages or sound ques after this. I have used Task Manager as well to check the program as it attempts to load up, but it just disappears after the aforementioned time period. Is there something else that I'm possibly missing that allows the program to run? If there's anyone who knows how to get it running properly, please help.
