  1. a lot of people are having the same problem , i could play fallout 3 and fallout new vegas in ultra high but when skyrim starts it would set my graphics to low after this fix it detected me at high graphics finally :)
  2. after spending 3 days searching ive found the solution its too simple . that im surprised i didnt think of it . all you have to do it is open your catalyst control center goto gaming then 3d application settings set your anti aliasing to max set your anisotropic filtering to max tessellation max catalyst a.i to quality vertical refresh off anti-aliasing mode max quality and turn off triple buffering and make sure you unclick all the use application settings basiclly it seems skyrim has a big problem handling your graphic card settings so it has to be bypassed to let your video card do it so nvidia users make sure you turn off all settings that let the game manage your graphic settings i also am using amd catalyst 12.6 beta also turn off both aa features in the launcher menu since it will conflict now with your forced setting
  3. i finally did it :) i will be posting on main site , i have fixed skyrim so instead of detecting low quality its now detecting high. thanks everyone :)
  4. ive tried with no success :( thanks thou
  5. ok heres my problem , the auto detect for skyrim is setting me to low setting which i cant understand why since fallout 3 and fallout new vegas both detect ultra high . i have a ati hd 6670 with 2 gigs of ram. i know before it detected skyrim at ultra high and i even downloaded the high res pack . i reinstalled it with current drivers 12.4 and without high res pack and its saying low . any ideas would help . i also almost maxed out my cards overclocking setting.and still no improvement.
