I started a new game using the alternative life mod and joined the stormcloak army. Then I finished Korvunjund and came to Ulfric to give him the jagged crown. I gave him the jagged crown finished the quest and he tells me to take his axe to whiterun, but he never gives me an axe and the message to whiterun quest never starts. I had trouble on my last game with broken quests in the Civil War questline, but then he wouldn't give me orders to initiate the battle of whiterun quest. I tried setstages and a bunch of other console commands but nothing worked. Finally I grew fed up and reinstalled skyrim. The game worked fine from there until where I am now. Please can someone help me! I really want to play skyrim but I don't want these constant glitches.

Same problem I don't know what it is. Tried using setstages and it came up with these wierd values. My save game can't be bad because I just started the game. I'm running on version 1.8 this is really stupid. Last broken quest had to do with a timescale issue but that can't be true for this one. Please someone help!

Having same problem except I don't have any of the mods mentioned here. I've scoured the internet for an answer and most of them had to do with the Dovakhin Hideout mod, but I don't have that. Please HELP??
