Make the condition for the terminal choice check if the character has more than or equal to 150 caps. After that, make a result that removes 150 caps from the player's inventor and enable the wall. To make sure it doesn't steal the player's money, have the condition make sure the wall is not enabled to be able to select the option.

You don't need a script for that to work. You should set the weapon's Crit % Mult to 100 and make Crit Effect BigHornerKnockback or DeathClawKnockback.

Well, if you're making your first quest mod, don't make it giant. Keep it inside the Mojave and move out when you're completely comfortable. Make little private quest mods to learn the ropes with the GECK. As for making a new Region/Worldspace, there is an amazing tutorial on Truancy Factory which helped me out a lot. If you need to learn more about the GECK, the best place to go is the wiki. There is so much information on there that will help you out a lot. -

You would have to change the link-to/from in the narration, then get all of the complex conditions set up. Like I said before, it's a really sensitive thing to mess with. -

Well, the ending isn't made of binks. It's made of a complex talk by the Narrator. If you want to add something to the narration, you're going to have to edit the Narrator's dialogue, and that's a very sensitive thing to mess with. -

How do you make a world map?

I'm working on a MASSIVE quest mod with big new worldspaces, and I need to know how to make a world map. I know that it's done by using a .DDS file, but how do I make the actual map look like the worldspace? Does it have to be done manually? -
I can run the game on max settings. I also have FRAPS, which can record video or take high quality screenshots. Could I be a beta tester?

Gary: Old man sitting on his property, Male, African American, 60s. 4. Charles: NCR Lieutenant protecting Colonel Miles. Male, Caucasian, 30s. 5. Mark: Vendor needing a delivery. Male, Caucasian, 50s. 6. Overseer Patterson: Overseer of Vault 79. Male, Caucasian, 50s. 7. Rick: Shady ghoul businessman. Male, Ghoul. 8. Talc: Angry raider leader. Male, Caucasian, 20s. There are a few more people in the mod, but they have already been voiced. -
Making custom posters?

Not necessarily. If you want to change posters around in the Mojave the quickest and easiest way is to simply overwrite their texture. So long as you don't mind losing a certain set of posters, simply overwriting the textures on pre-existing ones will allow you to have quite a few of your poster already placed around. Of course if you're not placing them randomly around the Mojave or you don't want to lose any of the posters already in-game, then of course, you would indeed need to duplicate the model with your texture. I forgot the part where a new base object is made and worded the texture change incorrectly. -

Some what, but I'm clueless about how I wold put the re textured stuff in the game.. Download a .DDS converter for Gimp. You also need Fallout Mod Manager to get the textures out of the .BSA files. Extract whatever texture you want to extract, open it in gimp, edit it, and export it as .DDS. After that, you would have to replace the texture in the world model. -

I'm nearly finished with a quest mod with an ending slideshow, but the slides are a distorted yellow color. I've made a .DDS file with the dimensions of 512 x 512 compressed with BC3 / DTX5 without mipmaps. I've also made a Texture Set with the image in Diffuse, Normal/Gloss, Environment..., and Environment. I've placed it on my slide and it's black in the GECK. When I go in game, it's a distorted yellow color, like this. http://i.imgur.com/fKUd6np.jpg?1?6478 How can I fix this? I still want an end slide show. -

I'm making a new worldspcae for a mod that I have been working on for a few months. I used the landscape generator tool to generate LOD textures for the exterior. When I got in game, in the distance, the landscape looks purple. Is there a way to fix this? I don't want to completely redo the work I've done.

I'm making a quest for a mod, and I would like to know how to make a quest fail on the death of an NPC, or any other condition. I know enough about the GECK to be comfortable with it, but I don't know how I would make a quest fail condition. Would it be through a script by making it fail as a result of GetDead?

I'm working on a mod, and I want the player to be teleported to a cell after finishing a conversation with a NPC. How would that be done? The only example of what I want to do is in "Still in the Dark". I would normally take a peek at the scripts to see how it's done, but I cannot find the ID of the quest.
