  1. I've been playing a heavily modded Skyrim since it first came out on PC, and just yesterday, my game began crashing around water. Specifically, the game crashes instantly when the character starts swimming in water. Using Steam to verify my game files did nothing, and even when I remove all my mods, this still happens. Any ideas?
  2. Pfft. Wow. I'm an idiot. xD Thanks, bro, for helping a noob out.
  3. I have Water Reflections on, Reflection Quality and Water Multisampling are both set to Low, and everything else is off.
  4. I noticed this a while ago, and it didn't bother me too much because I didn't spend much time around water, but now it's just getting frustrating. The water in New Vegas isn't rendering for me. I haven't seen a rippling pool of awesome-looking water since I started playing this game. Now, I am aware that my graphics card is very weak, but that shouldn't mean it just plain ol' can't render water... Should it? If anyone has any fixes, please let me know.
  5. I'm still fairly new to FNVEdit, but I do know the colorcoding system fairly well at this point, I think. I noticed that FNVEdit was displaying a conflict between two of my mods, one being the other's Master. I had the correct load order and everything. When I went to investigate the conflict, though, I got confused. Normally, when one mod has code that is identical to its master, it's displayed with a grey text. However, in this case, the .esp plugin had exactly the same code as the .esm that was its Master, and it was displayed as a conflict, with the plugin having orange text as the "conflict winner." Is this an error within FNVEdit, or am I missing something important?
  6. I closed FNVEdit and opened it again, but I'm still receiving the same error: "Assertion failure (P:\BethWorkbench\frmViewMain.pas, line 4329)" This happens any time I apply a filter. EDIT: The Messages tab is showing me a lot of Errors that say: "record WEAP contains unexpected (or out of order) subrecord <some numbers and letters>" What does this mean? How do I fix it?
  7. It's been an hour, and I'm already facing another problem. I turned on FNVEdit, and loaded all my mods. I tried to apply a "conflict detection" filter, so I could see what I need to fix faster. Unfortunately, the filter did not apply, and I received this error message: "Assertion failure (P:\BethWorkbench\frmViewMain.pas, line 4329)" I have absolutely NO CLUE what this means, and it is NOWHERE to be found either in the manual or on Google. I am completely clueless. Did I break something? Am I just outright screwed? I don't know what to do. ;_;
  8. Hi guys, I'm new here, and fairly new to FNVEdit and modding. I'm still learning how to use it. In the manual, it says you can hold down left-click and "drag-and-drop" one value from one .esp into the space in another .esp, but I am unable to do so. I have no idea what is wrong, and no one seems to have asked this question before, and I can't find the answer in the manual. More specifically, I'm using the Lucky38Suite Reloaded mod, and trying to D&D the value "Behave like exterior" into a merged patch I have created, but FNVEdit won't allow me to D&D it ANYWHERE. I just don't understand. ;_; Please help. UPDATE: lol noob mistake. I wasn't using the most recent version of FNVEdit, so it didn't read some of my mods properly. DUH!
