  1. Yeah I have the same problem when saving in nifskope. But only when i try to save nif's modified in max. Even with the error modified armor seems to work just fine. Hopefully its like Ghogiel said and it's nothing to worry about. Sorry, though i just stated my "similar" problem, I can't really be of any help since i have no idea how nifskope works. :unsure:
  2. Thank you for this great thread, was quite insightful (a good bedtime reading) Question though. When i save the altered nif in Nifscope I get "link points to wrong block type" and it then highlights/points to BSLightingShaderProperty that i just copied from the original. Everything seems to work just fine even with that but still is there a solution? Im using nifskope-1.1.0-rc4-i686-w32 version. Oh and on that note when i try to use throttlekitty's nif.xml i get errors on start up, is there a procedure im not familiar with? And Happy modding this year, next year and many years after everyone.
  3. Thank you, duplicating did the trick. More questions now but i'l do my research first before asking :) Edit. Back again... Is it possible to make max show transparency using just niftools shader? there are transparency modes there but they dont seem to show real time.
  4. Hello, Started using 3ds max 2012 not long ago, and I can't seem to be able to enable transparency to show from alpha channel. Been trying to add small alteration to my armor without changing meshes. Any advice? Thank you.
