Fallout For Real - Could You Handle It?

It wouldn't be totally like that because some parts of major countries don't have any military targets for nukes to be sent to. Each major country knows where the others nukes are because of a treaty the only thing they don't know for certain is where each others subs and ships and planes are during WWIII. Still the whole of a country would not be burned to a cinder and whoever survived would be living in those non target areas most likely farms and rural areas where animals live in large numbers. Thanks to the invention of walmart and walmart distribution centers you won't have to worry about running out of stuff in the short term instead you will be worrying about how to keep one of those places all to yourself and anyone you give a dam about. The whole thing would play out as groups of survivors against each other. Maybe at first common religions bring people together so they don't kill each other but once the stuff starts to run out things will get hairy unless they can actually work together and do things like grow their own food and make their own basic medicines so not just one but several doctors would have to be involved and many farmers and animal doctors too. Get a base like that going and survival is possible in the short to mid term but someone is going to have to turn the factories back on and make some stuff like asprin or antibiotics and other complex stuff. By the time something miraculous as that happens any army left standing after the war would already be near and trying to take over whatever is left. Not just one surviving enemy country but any and all would be roving over the affected major countries looking for whatever they wanted. Any left over govts from those hell holes would then be in charge of whatever is left of the world so lets see... drug cartels that survived and gangs that survived plus dictatorships that were too small fish to fire a nuke at would be fighting for control of things. -
I'm just really happy we don't have horsies in a beth game for once. You have to park them all the time and it is just a pain to deal with them and if you dismiss it you always see it after fast travelling or some other bug. Do you guys know what you have to do to maintain a horsie in RL? thats right just like that one episode of family guy every other day. I'm not doin that hell no! So power armor is better replacement which is why we don't have horsies just get the car start sound mod for power armor and you are good to go.

Really glad my X58 system did not come with this crap and it is one of the reasons why I still use other than I don't have two grand for a new setup:-( -
It would be much more interesting if the setting for the next fallout game was choosing from several different characters that are living in different parts of the country and you have to play through a few days of their lives pre war then the bombs fall and you have the start of the game no vaults or time travel just survive the bombs as one of those characters in a different part of the country. I would think that a common branch between all of them would be you have to travel to some other part of the country to escape death because each game so far has a main game area or map so they won't make all those different states as playable areas. So when the bombs fall each character has their own escape route to this other part of the country for different reasons they know someone in the army or they are in the army or something similar that would allow them to escape. Once they reach that common land whatever state it is, that is where the game starts Maybe the player encounters the other character choices as npcs in different parts of the plot here and there so it becomes more interesting to try each one and see where the other goes in different saves. Some would be members of a major faction like the BoS or enclave or whoever while others are not. Trying to keep up with all the fallout lore is boring and the old games are just not the sort of thing people these days want to play so if they did make another game it should be a reboot at this point. Starting from a vault is just so boring and done to death. Lets see the bombs fall from different perspectives and interact with the original factions from day one. I always wanted to know exactly what went on the day of the bombs falling and how it all played out. Did everyone just drop dead from the bombs or what? Why did the chinese drop troops into a state that was getting nuked? Reading the terminal entries in fallout 4 it seems that way and where are all the dead chinese soldiers and their stuff? We have to depend on mods to get that stuff and other stuff that should have been there. I don't like the idea of eating 200+ year old food and expecting some rusted out power armor to just start working as if it were new. It would be so much better to start from the beginning and to finally explain the vaults and the enclave and all the lore stuff in detail.

I extracted these things with bae and took a look at them in nifskope2 latest build and the field scribe hat looks fine but in game the neck portion clips through ANYTHING except the field scribe outfit. The BoS uniform hat looks like it shrunk up in the washer and dryer. The neck is too short it should slightly overlap the uniform neck and not clip through anything else. I think I know what is going on but don't know the details of it all. I use the very top of the body scaling triangle in the character menu so my character is lookin like super man no fat and none of that skinny guy stuff nope he looks like he served in the army. Because of this the scaling of anything that character wears is stretched way far out for example heavy combat armor arm pauldrons go all horizontal because the shoulder muscles are increased and I think this affects the neck area too so things like the field scribe hat get stretched out at the base of the neck. There must be a variable somewhere to fix this stuff for the field scribe hat maybe bone data? but the BoS uniform hat/hood whatever is really screwed up. Can someone fix these two things?

I just downloaded snappy house kit mod thinking it would be a good replacer for this mod but the problem is I like the foundation stuff that comes with this mod. Does snappy house kit give fancy foundations? I'm also kinda sick and tired of building the same crap wood house for settlers with snap'n build too so I wouldn't mind uninstalling it and going with snappy house kit only but those foundations come in handy for things like fireworks stands near walls and covering up that big hole left over after scrapping croup manor with scrap everything mod and some other stuff I can't remember right now.

Look at how vault 88 works and it is just boring underground stuff that mini workshop thing from vault 88 should have been how nuka town USA worked so if you went into the marketplace there would be one and if you went outside there would be one and maybe one more outside to cover another area then one more inside fizz top grille. Any place you couldn't build in nuka town USA would have the garbage cleaned up and interiors would change to allow some npcs to live in there and take over the shops of the old npcs so if you killed all the gangs their vendor spots would be replaced by trader npcs. I have always thought why not build in nuka town USA? I can understand not building in other nuka world areas they are more of an adventure kind of place but nuka town USA come on it was obvious since you have to spend so much time there.

I wonder if beth ever considered this kind of thing when they were planning beth.aids this will happen often enough to keep beth down and force some console gamers to move on to other games. Why play when some modder will pull their mods anyway? will be the common thought in console gamers heads. Their attention span is much shorter than pc gamers and we all know the console market is the money maker for developers so this will affect them in a negative way. How many copies of fallout 4 and each DLC sell each month? Will those figures be affected by this kind of thing? If I only had a console I wouldn't buy games like fallout 4 or if I did I would stop playing it after a couple of big burns like this.

I just discovered that there are no 45 degree roof parts for those 45 degree windows and walls and doorways yeah just great. I don't understand what permissions problem there would be when it appears that ALL the stuff in this mod came from the vanilla game files. This really sucks and even worse is how much progress the author made in fixing it before giving up on it. There is a trello page still up with all the fixes they did like a whole lot of fixes and we will never see them unless the author posts them. What the hell is this crap atlas shrugged or something? wtf?

Now that I think about it there was some talk the author was just sick and tired of playing fallout 4 or just bored with the game and couldn't be bothered with their mods anymore. Who knows for sure except the author so we can only wait for them to say something.

Wearing armor or clothes that have the sharp enchantment will raise your charisma higher than 10 or 11 which causes MOAR settlers to live at your settlements plus any mods that raise charisma like that toilet and shower mod. Best thing to do is get a mod that shelters all beds as long as they are built in a shelter of some kind and get your settlers up to between 24 and 26 depending on the location. Some places like taffington or covenant can't handle more than 20 settlers without major fps drops.

How do I get uv maps exported with nifskope2?

thanks for the replies I thought about screenshotting it too but I want to get it exactly where it is supposed to be. Sometimes beth leaves a lot of room for those uv to fit into but sometimes they don't and if a weapon like a sword has a blade texture cut in half it will never line up right once altered for example. I might try blender to see if I can get it from there but dammit I hate blender makes me feel like I'm going in for a root canal every time I try to use it. -
WUTWUTWUUUUUUT???????????? Ah hell no why did they remove that mod? dammit what is with the mods going away this time? beth.aids is a given so it must be something else going on? I remember reading the author had wanted to update the mod for some time now but never got around to it. The mod definitely needs fixing it has some bugs with roof pieces here and there.

Even worse than a mod set to hidden and just not having access is that you can't remove that mod from your tracking list so it just sits there cluttering up your tracking list for as long as this site exists. I use that mod and track it too I'm surprised to see it hidden though I am having one problem with it and ronnie shaw going missing every time I fast travel to the castle she is gone I have to use console command to get her back. She goes to her spot again in the armory but if I travel away and come back again she is gone again. Maybe that is why it is hidden something must have changed in the game since the mod came out and the latest patch for the game. Maybe people were spamming the mod page with the same bug? I wish I could untrack the CAST mod since it doesn't seem like it will ever be unhidden so I can untrack it.

We all know how to export uv maps for textures with old nifskope for skyrim but I can't figure it out for the new nifskope2 for fallout 4. How do I export the dam things? Maybe the nifskope2 dev is sadistic? I want to edit some textures for armor but I need to know exactly where something ends or begins and can't do that without uv maps. I really really hate the default marine armor textures it would be nice to have some decent looking leather bags on there and belts other details instead of this brownish grey mess with old bullet holes and stuff. I could make it an addon so player can upgrade their armor to the restored look with a few additional points to damage resistance whatever I just really hate those crap defaults and want to replace them badly. Other texture mods on nexus just black everything out or do something I don't like so makin it myself seems like the best way to go I just can't get uv maps can someone help with this?

Danse stands directly behind me and shoots me in the back almost every time he is following me I have to remember to jump out of the way as soon as he starts yelling something. He seems to get stuck a lot in the interior cells though if there is a lot of crap everywhere like desks and other obstacles though. I always setup ada with full assaultron parts I have that RILF mod too hehe well who doesn't and give her a gatling laser right arm with assaultron laser head. If she doesn't incinerate someone she will beat the crap out of them with a melee attack but she always starts off with the gatling laser. She can move so fast as an assaultron that enemies can't get away so I just focus on other enemies attacking her until they are all gone. -

Didn't know about the robot thing but it makes sense to be seen as a bigger threat. Maybe this has something to do with preventing companion aggro in some situations. During the quest confidence man I always have to take away my companions weapons if they have any because if I don't they just shoot those two bullies instead of fighting with them. When they don't have weapons they just stand there and watch me fight them. -
Strange to hear a WD black series went bad usually they last a long time. Almost all the SSD on the market have about the same performance except those M2 drives or anything else that fits directly into a slot on the motherboard since those are faster interface than SATA. You need separate drive for OS and gaming and storage. Stuff your files in a big storage drive but try not to get anything bigger than 1tb if you want it to last a long time. I have noticed anything bigger than that tends to die faster which is probably due to increased complexity among other things. The ideal SSD for the gaming drive would be 480gb or 500gb do they make that size? and the OS drive can be 256gb or some of them say 240gb same thing. SSD drive works better when there is more free space on it even after installing everything. Your apps could be on the gaming drive too instead of the OS drive so it would only be windows on that OS drive nothing else. The OS drive could be the M2 thing or other direct access drives and if you can find it same thing for the gaming drive but those things are really expensive.

I always thought that diamond city security guard danny sullivan had something going on with crazy myrna the merchant in diamond city because when you find piper for the first time she says something about letting crazy myrna miss out on all the supply and he replies with no need to make it personal then opens the door. Whats so personal then? Sounds like he doesn't like it when someone calls myrna crazy but why would he unless they had something going on or were married?

That looks like a mix of the old banned version of the MF mod and the new MF mod without the banned content.

I use scrap everything mod to scrap the whole house then use console commands to disable the door and a few other things that can't be scrapped don't forget to use markfordelete command too after disable for each item. Then I disable all the nearby trees and crap that block turret fire and also to cut down on poly count in the area so my fps will be better then 10 fps when I go there. Too bad we can't change the music after taking over the settlement so no more creepy battle music but instead that boring settlement music and if we could get that companion thinks this place is creepy comments to disable as well after taking the settlement. Croup manor is not the worst problem in this game no, the worst problem is you build all of the slog up just how you want it and just when you place the last light source it doesn't work so you scrap it and try again to place that laaaaaaast light and BOOM! CTD just like that and no you didn't save before it happened. I f*#@ing hate that bug I don't want to play this game for a whole day now just because of this dam bug I'm not building all that s#*! again lol. I really hope all the bugs get worked out of the settlement transfer mod so by the time I finish my playthrough I can just go and save all the settlements to blueprints before trying another playthrough later. I'm so tired of building this s#*! again and again and again.

I went looking for official message boards for this game but can't find any seems they only want to use boring social media crap for communication. Anyone know a place where the devs post at all? Do they post in here? My ideas... Some ships like haulers seem big enough they could carry one exocraft inside them so why not have an option to convert x amount of storage spaces in a hauler to one big space for an exocraft to be stored? The exocraft would automatically be stored in the ship when the player enters the ship so it just goes poof after getting in the cockpit and when the player presses E a prompt will come up asking exit vehicle or use exocraft and they have to pick each time except after landing on stations or platforms that will always default to just exiting the vehicle as usual. When the player has built their base and built more than one landing pad and built the trading terminal they can somehow sell their old ships so if the old ship has a fueled jumpdrive it could be told to go home after the player takes possession of another craft. So that old ship would wait there at the player base taking up one landing pad slot until the player switched to it or sold it. Exocraft need to be able to boost vertically, I really hate getting stuck in those caves which seem to be exocraft traps they don't have an incline to drive back out of just a dam hole to fall in I hate those. Mining laser is hard to aim on the exocraft they shoot the ground if the view angle is too high making it hard to mine really tall resources. Really wish we had a third person view instead of being stuck in first person all the time.
