How to store my ships?

I can't believe they don't have walmarts in this game I had to go four jumps away from the starter planet to find a robot so it could tell me how to make a nine volt battery. This is so ridiculous and makes me wish they played more fallout 4 while making this game. -
I lost the first ship I started out with the fighter ship. I lost it when I unlocked the coordinates to a crashed ship and claimed the crashed ship. I spent a lot of time trying to move the crashed ship near my fighter. I found this crashed ship near a gek trading base with a landing pad. I finally managed to dock both ships at the same landing pad they were clipping through each other and after wandering around hoovering up resources and finding things I came back to find only the crashed ship docked there and the fighter gone as if one of those little stinky geks took it. So now I have unlocked the location of yet another crashed ship and I know what will happen if I head over there and claim it. I have the latest version of the game pathfinder edition which has base building too. I am guessing I have to build my own base and build a landing pad for it then dock it there to keep my ships from going away? I am still on the first planet I started on and I didn't pick up that atlas thing I can't even remember where the hell it is now do I need that? I have seen videos of people docking their ships in their own freighters in space so I know it is possible to keep more than one ship but it can't be so bad that it only works there and not on planet too right?

The bug is because someone will have to make custom animations for power armor too and since nobody has an animation rig for power armor or so they claim we just don't have a solution to that problem yet. Check out the magnum revolver rifle mod there is some info posted there about it since that mod has the bug too.

Samurai Armor In Fallout 4

I have both versions of that mod and just mixed them together they are for skyrim and the author has hidden them away for whatever reason. We actually have some samurai armor in nuka world but it has a bunch of garbage stuck onto it and it doesn't cover much of the body. Nuka world is like mothership zeta and some other stuff stuck together so they wouldn't have to make those dlc separately even though it would have made them more money seems strange. All someone has to do is clean up the nuka world samurai armor maybe add some stuff to it and done no need to port some hidden mod content into the game.- 5 replies

Well that back to the future getup doesn't stop bullets and sometimes those nutjobs have real guns thanks to mods that change leveled lists.

There was a mod for cleaning up nuka world if you took out the raiders but it is old now and it had bugs plus the author just doesn't comment there anymore. Nuka world is kind of a letdown since after you get some rewards there it just gets really boring. Enemy spawns happen over and over again for no reason even if you wipe out all the gangs and the map is too small. Maybe if nuka world could be inhabited by main game factions it would be more interesting or if there was more story after doing everything there.

I know right? What I noticed when the game first came out was how the guards behaved at finch farm settlement. I had them all set up with walls and posts and turrets too. One really bored super mutant wandered over from the nearby satellite array and took some cheap shots at a guard so they all ran out of the settlement to slay him. They got him then the other really bored super mutants took notice and attacked so all those guards and settlers by this time lined up along that stone wall before the water near the array and used it as cover while shooting in vein at the super mutants. They could figure out how to do trench style cover but not stay at their positions in the settlement. I would think during an attack one npc like a named npc that lived there originally would run to any gates and close them somehow locking them too and all the guards would stay at their posts while firing at any threats. Something I just thought of but never tested I wonder if they run towards threats because their weapons have too short a range? Something to try is give your settlers very long range weapons from mods like the modern firearms mod which has some insane ranges like 500 or 600 range on some rifles and add max scope options to them too so super accurate and see if they stay at their posts.

Thanks to the C4 mod and the chinese stealth suit mod together there is no longer any reason to spare any of the gangs when you can plant C4 on each and every one of them and blow them all up with one button. Just don't blow up anyone near the slaves, someone has to clean the park after you are done exploding raiders.

Get the better power armor mod that makes you totally immune to radiation and bullets until one or more pieces of your power armor are destroyed.

Brotherhood or Railroad first?

Oh good grief here we go... BoS totally badass you get guns lots of guns BIG guns and power armor hell yeah! Get a bunch of big dam gun mods from nexus and kick some butts in the commonwealth. There is a mod that lets you spare the railroad through dialogue with capt kells. I get through danse mission at the police station and run one op for that unibrow jerk guy then I get the mission from danse to find the missing patrol and do that taking preston along with me but I sometimes go to diamond city first before reporting back to unibrow so I don't start the patrol quest yet. Get to diamond city hear some unique dialogue between preston and other npcs send sheffield to work in sanctuary buy some guns find out where valentine is yadda yadda. Eventually I leave diamond city go build abernathy farm with preston and then go report to unibrow find the lost patrol and finish that up then drop preston off at sanctuary after reporting in to danse. What I HAVE to do it seems is finish cabot house quests BEFORE BoS shows up after killing kellogg because there is a bug for me where if I put that quest off until after they arrive I lose emogene during her quest and it bugs out. I usually pick up macreepy and do that quest then get his creepy remarks and his personal quest go to medtek collect the westek tactical optics blueprints from that mod while I'm there if I didn't get them already during lost patrol quest. Finally wear macreepy out and get his really creepy dialogue out of the way and leave him at county crossing where I end up dumping cait too since they seem to be the same kind of person they deserve each other. What I usually do is join the railroad before going to kill kellogg and get some of their missions out of the way then score the ballistic weave so I can crank up my armor with AWKCR and armorsmith extended mods. I just go far enough to get the weave and if I haven't finished deacons liberal allegory PSA dialogue yet and got his perk I put that off til later when I come back from far harbor with marine armor and a quad barrel rocket launcher. You can be in all these factions just use that mod that I mentioned earlier it is on nexus something about sparing railroad from BoS but after destroying the badly written institute don't go back to the castle or the railroad since they will want you to blow up the BoS. You have to find danse and convince him to live somewhere on a settlement maybe send him to far harbor since the BoS is not there depending on what you did there. I play a character that gets along with almost everyone since the real threats are super mutants ferals raiders and enemy synth patrols with all factions shooting at those npcs together the commonwealth should clear up in a few decades. The institute is so badly written it doesn't even make sense why would these scientists be too stupid to talk to people on the surface? They really have to send synth patrols to do their work? They really have to replace people instead of just ask them gee... why does your crops grow so guuud on top of a pile of dookie? I mean seriously just so badly written. Some elementary school kids could have written a better story about them and they didn't have to kill the player spouse in the beginning either they could have taken her too and she could have been told the other character was dead so she lived out her life with the kid and died of natural causes. The whole institute story could have been much better and we didn't need to identify or have sympathy for kellogg either screw that guy and his bad writing. Someone shoots my spouse (assuming I had one lol) they are dead no matter what I would not hesitate to end them no matter what the consequences and that is just human nature anyone would think that way. -
Another Reason the Settlement System is Crap

Large numbers of npcs can slow down the game because it is cpu intensive which is why settlements are so small just build something up and add over 30 settlers to it and keep building until your pc hits single digit fps. I think there was a sanctuary modder that posted this crazy pic of his sanctuary which he never left in the game just kept building it for months and his pc can barely run the game now. I would hate to see what any updates have done to his game lol. Until beth can fix their code so it ain't so sloppy and so cpu intensive we will have limits like this. -
I have this idea but I am thinking it might end up in a future fallout game if they would develop the BoS more instead of making them a political allegory all the dam time. Maybe the BoS gets BIG and has large mobile settlements that look like those experimental tanks from supreme commander forged alliance game they drive these all over the place and when they park it becomes a settlement for a while with built in defenses that can hold off anything from radroaches to deathclaws. Also the player might be able to actually fly a dam vertibird and land it wherever they want with auto landing options for these mobile settlements. Would be cool to have a quest or mission where the player has to deploy one of these things somewhere and fly some missions for it in a vertibird maybe man one of the anti personnel guns during an attack too.

Automated Settlement Building

I F'n wish lol. I have been asking this over and over for a year now. The closest thing we have is transfer settlements mod but it still has lots of bugs and you still have to build the settlement at least once before you can save it for replay later. I had an idea where all you had to do was bring x amount of resources to the workbench and dump them in then get a quest marker to build a radio signal at a specific point and a small generator to keep it going then come back in 24 game hours and the whole settlement would be build by some settlers that showed up to build it while you were gone. -

This reminds me of something it was the first time preston sent me to sunshine tidings co-op I thought oh great I have to go co-op mode to finish this mission WTF? and then expected to see some message about stand by while some random internet player was found to co-op with me lol. -
Freezes or Slo-Mo in various cells

It really depends on what mods you are using and have you tried starting a new game totally vanilla no mods? Also if you are overclocking your computer that might be an issue. If you can't get a totally vanilla game to work right and you are not overclocking then it has to be wrong settings in bios maybe you are overclocking and just don't know it or you have a hardware or software problem. Don't forget virus and spyware those things are everywhere these days. Windows 8 really sucks it could be a driver issue with it and it could also be a notorious windows update doing it too since microsoft likes to screw up everything many times a year now. -

There sure is something wrong with that toilet paper! They just went and used plain ol toilet paper instead of that stuff marketing wanted to go with like space balls 2 the movie toilet paper the quest for more money or it just works TM the quest to piss off everyone toilet paper featuring the face of todd howard on every square guaranteed. -
I was looking around in the mesh files for marine armor trying to figure out how to fix the missing left arm elbow and noticed that the female version actually has the elbow showing just not the male version. To fix this someone would have to chop the elbow pad out from the arm mesh and make it a separate piece then name it the same way it is named in the female version and it should work. Has anyone done this yet? We are so close to finally having the armor fixed completely thanks to the mod that fixes the feet and the other mod that adds a neck cover and messing around with the bone data can fix the messed up chest piece now all we need is this elbow and a headlamp for the helmet armorsmith extended mod handles the recon and targeting hud needs. I don't understand why they left the elbow out for the male mesh its not like beth couldn't make it look right to begin with since beth created it.

Looking for texture artist to help clean up trash

The more important thing is how to remove the actual mesh in cells because the mesh is still being rendered even if the texture isn't. Until the CK comes out of beta lol they never finish the CK then we will have errors in cells trying to remove all that stuff. Mods like scrap everything can help but it requires the player to do it manually in game scrapping everything. What would be better is link all that stuff to an xmarker that is tied to a quest to clean up habitable places so the player can somehow convince the slobs living somewhere to actually clean up their location. Maybe later on in the year when beth is really finished messing with the game we might get a CK update who knows except them otherwise we have to wait for the xedit team to figure things out to a point where errors caused by the CK can be fixed after saving in CK. -

Like that uranium miner song in the game only it is just the piano playing. Went to nuka world again and went to dry rock gulch and wondered where the hell the music was lol. Also some jazz that doesn't have anyone screaming about doin nasty things to vaginas please just the jazz baby nothin else.

I have gone through half the vanilla game quests already killed kellogg joined the BoS recruited or captured most of the settlements for the MM but still I don't get the mission to help county crossing? I go there and the two settlers are always doing just fine talking to them only gets the usual greeting dialogues no requests for help. I only have warwick homestead and murkwater and oberland left maybe one or two more nothing else. I altered some bushes and shrubs at country crossing in a small mod that simply disables some things that can't be scrapped or disabled in game like those bushes at the corner of the crops there and some junk just outside the build border and those power wires that are really hard to disable in game. I checked my mod with FO4EDIT to be sure it is ok by cleaning it. Removing those bushes can screw up a quest really? Maybe it is a vanilla bug? I noticed if I play the game for six months in game time or more it tends to screw up after a while.

There is some vanilla bug with face texture where after a long while of playing and traveling in heavy load places like goodneighbor you face will change color to black if it is not black. I usually exit the game and restart my pc when this happens and load my save the problem is gone after that. -

Have you tried cleaning each of your mods with FO4EDIT yet? You have to clean out dirty edits or ITMs and fix deleted entries. The CK actually does the dirty edits and other stuff all by itself most of the time but there are some users that delete things from the game world instead of disabling them. Also if you have a mod that changes an area significantly and another mod loaded before or after it that does the same thing to the same area they will fight and mess up stuff but you said you don't have any conflicting things. Most likely a dirty mod or two and some mods change too much like the MF mod it screws up leveled lists so bad that legendary unique guns are all messed up with wrong parts. I had to delete a lot of the leveled lists entries to get it to work right with the game. Any overhaul mod or big change mod you are using might be out of date and needs to be removed or fixed to work correctly. After making sure all your mods are cleaned and up to date and you are still getting crashes then it has to be your computer. Simple thing is do you have a surge protector or batter backup thing aka UPS device? Those things just kinda go bad after a while or they took a few electrical hits that you didn't know about and now it doesn't supply enough power to your computer or interferes with power to computer. Just try running your pc directly from the wall socket for a while and see if it stops crashing. Other than that it is probably virus or spyware fake programs like fake driver updaters or driver detective scam software stuff like that. That stuff creeps in over time just by using popular sites and not blocking ads or getting messed up by facebook scammers and malware scripts on websites. There is a tool called adwcleaner that works pretty good and if you have windows 7 another tool called combofix you could try running combofix and then adwcleaner if you are on win7 but win8 or later and combofix won't work. After knowing for sure it is not a virus or spyware you could try verifying game cache with steam and if that doesn't work it has to be hardware at that point maybe memory or hard drive going bad most likely memory though. -
Bugged out tenpines bluff mod causing problems

Yeah I don't think they want to fix it though seems like their attention is elsewhere for now. I am thinking of removing the mod on next playthrough and making my own version of flattened out tenpines but it would be nice if I just knew how to fix it now though.
