  1. I found out that I hate atrium railings omg these things are buggy they don't always match up just right it seems like there should be a corner or joint piece that fits in between railings under certain circumstances.

Playing this now and was stuck down there for two in game days with piper until I finally loaded and earlier save and knew what I wanted to do then built about 25% of the main atrium and overseers office with desk then left to do other things. I have some gripes about this DLC gonna list them here. Bad lighting Yeah there are mods for this but they have bugs so I have to stick with other workshop light mods to avoid the other mod bugs for now. Boring It is totally boring down there and combine that with the bad lighting it gets worse so glad I got scrap everything mod though. They should have done X or Y The main atrium room should have been build with some quarters built already to give players an idea about what to do and how to do it instead of just dumping a bunch of stuff on us. Some of the pieces don't look right I went to vault 81 and started some quests there so I could get a look around and see how the lighting looks and placement of things. The pieces in this DLC are not the same as the vanilla vault parts I can see greebled variations of the atrium ceiling parts and the wall parts look different things like that. Doors should not open top to bottom there is no room for that long top part to go when another door in the room just above it is in the way. They should have made the doors slide left and right like on the elevator doors. I guess a mod will fix it sooner or later. There should have been atrium corner pieces so we could make a giant plus sign with the atrium ceilings so they could go both ways instead of just one way and a middle ceiling piece too. The way it works now there is no way to use atrium ceilings except that one way and close together. The placement of this vault is really terrible Really beth REALLY? Right there in a dump site full of radioactive barrels and they expect settlers to just mozy on in there? Who would be dumb enough to go in there knowing the raiders live there and why hasn't the radiation killed the raiders yet? Should have been supermutants living there instead it would have made sense then but still. I was expecting to find a vault elevator door like 111 got lame things instead. What they should have done was... I think they should have put the vault somewhere else they still could have it run under just about everything in the commonwealth and I could see the BoS showing interest in something like this seeing it like a bunker instead of a vault. Maybe the player could have some quests to help the BoS move in there and it causes enemies to not attack anymore since BoS protecting the place if the player sided with them.
  3. Aw dammit I didn't notice this until you posted it good thing I got it before it went away. I'm tired of mods like these they look good or great then just go away either they are removed for whatever reason or the author took them down because emo boo hoo or beth.theft struck again and it really sucks. I was hoping this mod was updated by now with more addons oh well.

  5. I never understood this either why did they make it like this anyway? I mean I'm not gonna walk that squire or scribe all the way across the commonwealth so they can do something when a transport is available. I have to use console and select them and then moveto command constantly when I get back to the airport with them because they won't even board the vertibird at the airport to go up to the prydwen so if I don't move them they end up dead as soon as I go in the door. I think this is working the way it is for now because of that bug with the vertibird at the prydwen where it won't show up docked when it is supposed to be there. We are most likely gonna have to wait for the unofficial patch team to fix it.

I think they enjoy torturing their customers just look at all the junk sitting just slightly beyond the build zone borders of any settlement a brick here and tree there maybe they are trying to force people to make mods like extended build zone border and other fixes mods. I really do think they just half way slap it all together and don't care if it all works or not until people complain a lot.
  8. That would be a really nice ada upgrade right there and I remember seeing someone putting that in F4 but can't remember where.

Why not just make a mod where the settlement is already built but disabled and the player clears the settlement and builds a lousy generator and radio beacon at a specified spot and then is shown a pop up message to bring x amount of stuff and throw it in the workshop then wait 24 hours and come back to an enabled already built settlement with a few settlers already there working as usual. The player then gets all the XP for each thing built all at once and if preston or another npc had sent the player there just go complete the mission as usual. This way the player doesn't have to waste time building things and can go around killing random encounter enemies or go do another quest then come back and problem solved. Some scrap would be available from all the junk at the settlements originally so the player would have to bring the remainder to get the settlement started.

Make an auto receiver not too fast firing though and the way it works is when the user points the gun at something the weapon charges up by itself and then when fired the weapon fires auto and when the user stops firing the gun charges again until fired again or holstered AND it can't fire BEFORE charging all the way up. There has to be some kind of handicap for all that power so charging delay only upon draw then again after firing but of course the gun only holds 20 rounds so if all rounds are fired the reload triggers then the charge has to happen again.
  11. There has been so much back and forth about that whole thing I have just wrote it off as some money grubbing crap I don't even sing that song at birthday parties even if other people do I just don't do it f*#@ it lol.

Anyone made this yet? instead of the cash register sound it would be fanzi from happy days saying aaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy I mean just look at that fallout guy logo with the fingers up lol it just looks like that sound. I hear that sound in my head every time I look at charisma in the perk chart lol.
  14. Did anyone ever fix that underarmor hood? The neck looks like it just popped loose and no matter what I wear with it the dam thing looks like s#*! around the neck area.
  15. Hey can someone make a set of normal lower arms and hands for assaultrons? The thinking is if the assaultrons could have normal hands they could hold a gun and use human npc animations for using guns as long as that arm part is installed.

With the automatron DLC we get the palette options to assign paint jobs to robots, I am in the process of messing around with textures for assaultrons and I have most of what I want to do done already but some things are still buggin me. Looking at the CK with fallout4.esm and robotdlc loaded I am lookin at npcs like kleo or the template units and I can't figure out how the CK knows to stick a gunner chest decal on the gunner assaultrons and there is no options for paint jobs for assaultrons in the CK? I want to make default units like KLEO and the units found in the wild with the star USA logo have a dark green paint job for example but there is no selection for this. I'm guessing it has to be done a the materials level or the mesh level but how does the game even know to use those things? I basically chromed the assaultrons but I don't want the standard units to be chromed just any unit that goes through the robot buttwrench one time. I swear I hear that word instead of workbench every time lol. So anyway only player made assaultrons would be shiny and new looking.
  17. So far I am not using any kind of compression just the none 32 setting in the intel texture works plugin and everything works.
  18. Ok figured it out finally and managed to chrome all the assaultron stuff AND keep the color palette options from autromatron but the assaultron hand doesn't seem to use any color palette changes it always appears completely chrome.
  19. No matter what I try with this it just doesn't work I can't change the assaultron hand textures to use chrome on the mechanical parts. I'm trying to clean up the assaultron textures and so far so good. I want to chrome all the mechanical bits so only those areas are chrome while the paint areas are really clean and work with paint options. I have cleaned those paint areas they look great now but the mechanical parts are not changing however so far I have only tried changing the hands I don't know if the other parts are gonna change or not. I tried copying the files to the assaultron directory too not just the DLC01 createabot directory and it still won't change. Funny thing is I have that chrome laser weapons mod installed and my test subject ada has a gattling laser on her right arm and it is chromed up just fine. WTH is going on here? am I changing the wrong files or what?
  20. This could be done but the vehicle would have to be considered a race like power armor is. Then it just has to be able to fly or move differently but one thing that gets my attention about this is how do vertibirds work?
  21. What are the console commands for changing the ambient music for a specific location? I ask because croup manor sucks without mods and the mods for it currently have problems. I want to change the ambient music to something heard at other settlements but so far I haven't found the console command for it. I found a removemusic command but haven't tested it yet.
  22. Why do people care so much about achievements? This a twitch tv thing or what?
  23. This is happening to me too couldn't figure it out gonna try it again with no grenades in my inventory and see what happens. If I have grenades they are activated instead of holding breath.
  24. Yep I just read this yesterday while searching for a way to do this and the whole time it was right in front of me with scrap everything mod while building sanctuary and wondering why the build limit in sanctuary was so much larger than previous times I played lol.
  25. Hey is there a fix for the music track after settling croup manor? I get so sick of that music and my follower commenting on the place as dangerous after building a whole settlement there and bunch of npcs living there. Would also be good to get rid of the basement after settling maybe it could be disabled and buried?
