There is a mod called Random Vampire Attacks in Towns Disabled I think it does allow attacks during eclipse but not sure. I found it by searching the word dawnguard on skyrim nexus.

Been looking at a lot of the npc overhaul mods and can't find anything that just changes certain npc. I want to use cbbe and some face mods for it too but nothing tacky or extreme. I read somewhere that tes5edit will make it a lot easier to make an npc mod from something like cbbe and apachiiskyhair but I don't know the details of that. Here is what I am looking for and I am posting it since it is a good idea that probably other people want too.... Only change these npc All DEFAULT followers/housecarls All DEFAULT marriage candidates All female npc that are young enough to look good aka jarl of solitude, that nag that drags the player around to find parts of the main quest she lives in riverwood? etc. Follwers and housecarls and marriage candidates should have very cbbe appearance:-) They don't need the worlds biggest floatation devices but you know, seksy:-) Young enough npc mentioned above don't need to be as attractive but not using default stuff just a little better than default really. The idea is that just from looking at some npc the player can determine what to do with them right away. Also most people are probably tired of looking at default female npc by now but don't want to mess with complicated cbbe and hair and seams etc. I had seen a mod at the nexus last year where this guy used all the different custom body mods in the same mod so one character was cbbe and another was unp he made it as an example mod that it was possible. I think the only way that an npc can be custom body is to make a custom race for them but not sure about that. Can anyone get this together or has seen this kind of mod that is not overdone and messed up faces?

I just got this game and it totally SUCKS! Playing on pc and it is a total disaster. This game is FAIL, the makers of this game have FAILED to make a resident evil game! What a waste of money, I could have just bought several scratch off lottery tickets and had the same results only I would at least know I had a chance and getting something for my money but this garbage is going where it belongs, in the trash can. I have decided for myself that this game is so bad I cannot rationalize any future interest or purchases of any capcom game and certainly any resident evil game. My only hope for something from this company was a remake of dino crisis 1 and 2 with great gameplay from 2 taking the lead. But I have abandoned all hope for anything entertaining from this company and written them off as a total waste of time. Whatever they say or do to get attention it is just a waste of life. Life is too short for this special kind of garbage and life should be spent carefully. I came home from a long day of working my butt off and didn't really feel like playing a game but the question was nagging me of was this game crap or not? So I opened it and played it and YES it IS CRAP! I played through the epilogue and that was it I couldn't take it anymore I just quit the game and uninstalled it F@#K IT this ain't worth the effort of complaining about at the store I will learn my lesson right now about this company once and for all that I should completely ignore them as if they never existed in the first place just like ubisoft. I am thinking about getting all my old splinter cell games 1 2 3 and conviction and this crap game then put them in a dirt hole in the ground or something and burn them. I want to make sure that I don't forget just how awful these companies are and how the should NEVER get any of my money ever again EVER! I just got a new video card the other day and had fun tweaking it for skyrim and some other games, couldn't wait to try it on a RE game. First thing I noticed was a bunch of pop in LOD meshes on the girl following me whenever I turned the view around while looking at her. That right there just made me think yeah there will be worse to come. The controls are CRAP on this game aka keyboard and mouse feel like I am pushing around something on ice and can't stop or slow down until I run into something. Then of course the FORCED cutscenes with "buttin mashin!" were like stabs in the back of my interest in the RE series. The whole experience was like, what if there was a game about one of those corny campy movies from the lifetime channel or hallmark channel? THIS is how it would play and look and sound. The music in this game is more than enough to make me turn off my speakers. There was literally a cutscene every 30 seconds or less in the epilogue. The way leon opened the doors throughout the epilogue it was like those fake dramatic moments of some bad korean family drama show where some old lady was about to overcook a pot of something and she starts crying oh no! The pot of bad smelling crap is gonna boil over booohooooboohooo!!!!! That was the impression I got from his movements coupled with the music associated with door openings. To anyone reading this that has not yet played resident evil 6, ABANDON ALL HOPE and DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY it is not worth it at all. Just forget crapcom and resident evil ever existed. Life will be much better that way.

Well I got the default 1h switched out for the default 2h model. Did the scabbard and lined it up exactly and everything but it looks "odd" with the long handle but it works just fine. I guess this will have to tide me over until someday someone makes the tachi sword I linked to earlier. Staring at the default ebony greatsword for too long has caused me to think that I might be able to make a mod of it and convert it to 1h AND get a scabbard from default 1h to work with it. Somehow I have to scale it to fit as 1h and get that scabbard from default 1h to cover it correctly no clipping THEN redo the textures for it. Might end up making all the ebony stuff match my ebony mod I dunno. Maybe that can tide me over until someone picks up the ideas I listed above. The default ebony greatsword looks better than the default ebony sword. That sword is the UGLIEST sword in the game! doesn't even look like a sword it looks like a nerf toy painted black. Now if anyone here has seen the 2h converted to 1h already and shared somewhere please post it here lol save me a lot of time and trouble thanks. -

Thanks for that link I checked it out and the elven sword and greatsword look interesting but the blades on them are poorly modeled and it shows. Hopefully someone will pick up the stuff I posted earlier. I was reading up on the tachi or jin tachi or jintachi swords and they don't show that reverse blade in the stuff I have seen from historical sites. I think the sword retailer sites I found were just selling a gimmick not the real design because from what I have seen, the tachi is made for calvary use and worn in a different way than samurai so it is easier to draw the tachi while riding a horse. Still I think the ideas I have are more interesting than the default ebony swords. I hope someone can pick it up soon. -
YES WE DO NEED IT! Just being able to bang your wife once a game week would be great. I really hated the lame sex scenes in mass effect games. Wish someone would make real sex scenes for those games as a mod for each of them it would make the game so much more interesting:-) In skyrim you can do just about anything except go to the bathroom and have sex. There ought to be a mod where you have to go out back and take care of your business lol sounds included and once a game week or so be able to spend some time with your wife or even have non married relations before marriage not after for more immersion. So if you are courting someone you can occasionally do more and more until the marriage dialogues come up with an option to talk about it later if you don't want to get married yet.

The handle could have the details of the ebony blade handle so it ties in more with the game and of course one handed and two handed models. The daggers don't have to change since they look just fine it is just the 1h and 2h ebony swords that totally suck and need replacing. I really hope someone can get to this someday soon it would be great for many people not just me that really don't like the defaults but don't want to just use a blades sword all the time or dragonbane all the time. That but a sword and with a hilt that curves with the top of the handle but oval shaped and the ideas from all above mentioned would be great actually. -

There is a switch on this card with two settings, 1 and 2. By default the card comes with the setting at 1 but I found out the switch is for increasing the voltage to overclock! I tried overclocking with the amd ccc overdrive and it was ok but trixxx software is much better. Trixxx lets the user set a fan control curve so the fan will throttle down when the card is below a certain tempurature. This way the fans are only loud when gaming. I have been slowly increasing the settings in amd overdrive and then switched to trixxx and managed to get my core up to 1200 and my memory up to 1600 but to run stable I had to flip that switch and run the voltage at 1262. I had it set at 1260 and when I clicked apply in trixxx the voltage moved by itself to 1262 so I just left it there. I just use coc command to move around and I can crash the game at markarth under the waterfall by understone keep if I stick to stock voltage of 1250 or 1.25v. Here is what I have loaded for skyrim... HD texture pack and two mods that I made, ebony mod and thanes reward HD because they both add hi res textures. My settings in skyrimprefs.ini that strain the system right now... iShadowMapResolution=8192 iBlurDeferredShadowMask=32 bShadowsOnGrass=1 bTreesReceiveShadows=1 bDrawLandShadows=1 fGrassStartFadeDistance=14000 I have NOT messed with ugrids at all. Whatever the game uses by default that is what it is. I left everything else at default but before changing anything in there I set the graphics options to ultra! I changed my AA to 8x and my AF to 8x too. Under ccc my AA settings are just multisampling. When I increase them to adaptive or supersampling the game gets slow. Morph filtering is off and texture filtering quality is standard. Surface format is off too. Everything else is set to application controlled and I am using vsync, by default skyrim has it set to on so I never changed that. With these settings I can get ok to good movement outside whiterun no major skipping or jumping just micro skipping really small skipping. Going to a place like markarth it is about the same. My fan is set by trixxx to increase to 60% after 50c and my temps are 48c just after exiting skyrim. -

Had you been using NOD32 from eset it would have eventually fought off the virus by itself and the warning screen would have went away but you would still have to run anti spyware stuff to finish it off. I have seen this on many laptops and the users reactions are really funny when they tell me about it. Some of them are denying everything saying they didn't download anything or they can't prove it because the user covered the webcam as soon as it went on lol. I have been in front of one of these infected laptops where the camera is recording me lol. But since it didn't have any internet it was not showing anything to anyone. The camera comes on but it probably doesn't record anything just activates it and provides a display for the camera to scare people with. Having a good AV is critical these days but the best defense is yourself when downloading things you are not sure about. If you are not sure just don't download it or try another server and see if the same thing happens again. Nexus is not one of those crap sites that tacks on download managers out of nowhere or free coupons with your download etc. So something like that should never be on their site or servers. Most of the time it does require a reformat to get rid of this virus because the user didn't have any AV at all or they had avg or norton or mcrapee so the worst of the virus would still be in effect. You have to get your foot in the door so to speak just long enough to run something like combofix and then kapersky TDSSkiller afterwards then antispyware like spybot search and destroy and then antivirus scan. If the computer is fast enough you might be able to run AV scan and spybot at the same time but that scan is only useful if the AV is NOD32 or kapersky or something similar. Also this kind of virus likes to mess up AV like avg and prevent them from uninstalling so you can't install another AV after removing the virus. -

Well I bought that hd7950 card from newegg and it works great! Only problem so far is this weird double stripe that can only be seen on the ebony blade when looking at it in the menu, rotating the sword around there is some kind of grey and white vertical stripe that shows up on the whole sword as it rotates around. Looking at it in 3rd person no problems and looking at it from 1st person view no problems just menu. I have not yet finished optimizing my system for this card just getting into it. I miss the nvidia profiles for games it was so much easier. With amd ccc I have no idea what to do for game profiles and a quick google search turns up none for my card. I am gonna leave ugrids stuff alone since dragonborn doesn't like any changes there and I might get that dlc soon. Just want to pump up the shadows and exterior details like shadows on trees etc. When everything is set and working good then I will try a slight overclock and see what happens. My core is 925 stock and memory is 1250. My idle temps are 32c so far and I ran this card through some games and didn't go above 48c the whole time but probably because not overclocking it yet. -

I was thinking of that too but the blade just doesn't look right and it has no hilt. Thinking more about the details of this and I was looking at the ebony blade. The details on the handle of that sword would be perfect for the handle of ebony sword and great sword and the hilt from ebony blade but oval shaped not round and tilted forwad like many of those sword mods that use the elven sword handle from oblivion then just change the curvyness and thickness of the blade depending on elf, glass, or ebony. The model could be the same just change the blade to match the material style. Then if possible an ebony saber but there are plenty of sabers floating around maybe could use one of those for ebony saber. I was looking at the lost longswords mod too but everything is straight sword style. The skinny straight style is interesting it could be a variation but I want to get total replacement for the two ebony swords and then worry about alternate stuff. -

Yeah I checked that one out a while back and noticed the blade is too straight plus it is more about LOTR so it doesn't quite fit and no hilt either. I tried talking ghousu into making this but he was not interested at the time. Every once in a while it would be funny if when the player took off their ebony helmet they saw the face of rowan atkinson instead of their character hehe:-) -

That is almost exactly how I think of ebony also! I made an ebony armor mod lol ya know? Yes this is how I view it too but I am thinking the elven european style not just straight euro. The elves were super smart and really uppity but they were also extremely strict and pursued a constant path of brutal evolution kind of like survival of the fittest but against your own to prove it lifestyle. They broke up at some point and went off to do their own things so we get all the different elf types. Did you know the orcs are of elf influence? I am thinking the bretons had some influence of ebony armor at some point so from elf curvy to glass less curvy to ebony slightly curvy but you see more breton elf euro influence there like the ebony armor. The S curve I am thinking about is more like those elf swords from LOTR movies but not so extreme. Remember the aldermi dominon chopped off those akaviri heads and rolled them up to the front door of the empire? Well they had to know what they were doing to manage that one. So I am thinking their swords had to be just as good as or better than akaviri "samurai" swords. Where the samurai sword is good a slicing, the elf S curve does that but does something else that gives them an advantage in combat over the samurai sword. I don't know what the advantage would be that is just an idea for now. Maybe from that logic a more detailed design can be made? There could be ebony sword, ebony greatsword, ebony saber, ebony short sword etc. to reflect elf design and to show breton influence? -

The dunmer are just a different kind of elf, in fact most of the races in the game were originally from elves except nords and argonians of course. So the designs would differ slightly but have a similarity. The weapons of the third era mod is great but it has some bad ideas for ebony weapons. The glass sword in that mod is interesting but the jaggy edges on the end of the blade would never fit in a sheathe scabbard. Ebony is not daedric it is ebony so it shouldn't look daedric like that one sword does. -

The way the design influence should go for ebony would actually come from elf sword replacers first since ebony has an elf influence. So elf swords then glass swords then ebony swords. -

Someone has got to replace the ugliest swords in the game! They look like nerf swords for draugers! I actually hate finding these things because they are ugly and they won't work properly with a plaque or holder. I have asked many times over the last year for someone to replace these swords and nobody would do it:-( If I knew how to do it my self I would have done it already but I have no free time these days to spend a month or more learning to use self torture devices like blender and nifskope just to get two sword replacers in game. Plenty of people around here know exactly how to do it maybe one of you has the time? For design ideas I am thinking some kind of elegant S curve where the blade is curved one way and the handle is curved the other. There should be a hilt, so many sword mods on here with no hilt and flimsy looking blades or totally not ebony straight blades. The sheath/scabbard should be on the sword for both male and female users and player and npc users. Many thanks to whoever can do this for their time and knowledge. -
See my other thread to find out exactly why breezehome crashes not just navmesh but what sits on it too: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/936062-what-exactly-needs-to-be-changed-to-fix-hearthfire-ctd-breezehome/ I managed to switch the alchemy lab place in the HF scripts for a custom room in my mod! So now the guest room is swapped out for child room instead of alchemy lab. I didn't want to edit that big HF script BYOHadoptionhousepurchase or re compile it so instead I changed the global variables for alchemy lab and alchemy lab start to my guest room xmarkers and it works like that. Then I just had to edit the house purchase quest and move the relevant topics under player dialogue from alchemy to my custom added guest room topic. I also had to edit the scripts for those rooms and papyrus fragments had to be swapped around. I found out the hard way that I have to extract ALL of the HF scripts and copy them to my scripts\source directory before I could compile any HF scripts not just copy over the HF scripts I wanted to change.

I have discovered a bug or a consequence of modding with multiple master files perhaps with the CK. If you previously made a player home mod that did not use hearthfires.bsa AND altered the housepurchase quest in ANY way, there will be problems when trying to update that mod for hearthfires. I just noticed today that the BYOH script from the scripts section of the housepurchase quest is gone after updating my breezehome mod to use hearthfires. This is why probably ANY mod that alters that housepurchase quest will cause the alchemy lab and the child bedroom to not show after buying them. The enable/disable scripts for the alchemy lab were transferred to BYOHRelationshipAdoptionHousePurchase script to be enabled and disabled as a global instead. This was needed so the other hearthfire quests and scripts would work properly. Also the HDWhiterunChildRoom was removed from that list on the first tab on the left in housepurchase quest. I had to add everything back manually to be exactly like it was by default so my mod version of housepurchase and the default contents are BOTH there as they should be but the alchemy lab and child room still don't show up. So it looks like any quests altered in a mod before hearthfires that are also altered by hearthfires will be messed up during the process or upgrading a mod to work with hearthfires. I am going to try to change the link between alchemy lab and child room in my mod and see if the child room shows up correctly and the alternate room I want in place of alchemy lab disable shows up too. I have a feeling that simply by changing it in all the right places will make it show up normally in a mod.

This would be a great modders resource to have for people that mod player homes and separate the alchemy lab from the child room and put them in two different places. Also to know how to change the hearthfire scripting to a custom home upgrade like guest room or something so that room is changed when child room is bought or sold instead of alchemy lab. I am thinking that even if I only enable the alchemy lab manually after buying child room it messes up the hearthfire scripting or causes it to think that I no longer have child room and won't let me adopt kids. So being able to separate the two and switch to something else would be great for anyone wanting to know how to do that for player house mods in major holds. I can look at CK and compare the differences but trying to put the hearthfire scripts on a custom home upgrade generates errors about missing scripts and code not loaded problems. Also why is it that any mod at all to breezehome causes the alchemy lab to not show after buying it? I have to enable it manually every time. I am thinking that it gets enabled by hearthfire scripting instead of the usual TIF scripts but not in housepurchase quest, maybe another quest somewhere else?

Help, with interior and an "Exterior" component

See this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31696 You don't have to fake the outside you just have to put invisible boundaries outside to keep the player from leaping off the balcony which is what I think you were asking. The above mod does not have those boundaries but if you study how it is made you can make your own interior/exterior link for our mod and put in boundaries. -
Well after a lot of researching I am thinking that yes it is navmesh bug that crashes breezehome BUT it only crashes if any internal non load doors are used in the house, take the doors away and everything is fine. I cheated with the navmesh to see what would happen. I selected the island two triangles mesh, deleted it but not from viewer window. I delted it from details area where the name is listed. Then I saved and exited the program. Then I loaded CK again and selected my mod and chose the details button. I scrolled down to where the navmesh was listed with a D next to it and pressed the delete key to get it back then loaded the mod. There I could see the whole old navmesh again so I deleted all but the last few triangles near the door. Then I deleted only the last few triangles near the door from my navmesh. I merged the two navmeshes just like bugesda did and it works! No more CTD the house works fine but sometimes I will get that bug where if I buy the alchemy lab it doesn't show up as if I did not buy it yet and the child bedroom stuff does the same thing but I am using a save game from nexus supposed to be clean but that save game was saved without HF so I will have to play through the game to fully test it. I remember that I got a notice from the stewart in whiterun with one of my save games at lvl 81 I was testing my hjerim mod at the time. So I guess for the whole thing to work just right the player has to get that notice first before buying child bedroom stuff.

Ok the only OTHER thing that causes CTD is those L_navcut collision markers (yellow boxes) put in by hearthfire DLC. Just disable those the same way I mentioned earlier for disabling doors and IT WORKS! I was able to ENABLE every upgrade package in the house after disabling those doors and collision markers and it works just fine in my mod now! Only problem is the doors have to be fixed somehow still working on that one. I found this mod on nexus today: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33093 The mod is for a hearthfire house fix. The author talks about he deleted a collision marker (probably yellow box) from hearthfire DLC in the house and it stopped CTD for him. So I am not the only one discovering this problem can be fixed by disabling stuff! If anyone can help with fixing the doors then this problem will be FINALLY FIXED no more CTD for breezehome mods anymore!

Ok some quick testing found some interesting results! I can disable a door in the player bedroom and housecarl room, set the enable parent to none then load the mod and the upgrade packages for those two load just fine. But if I disable a door for alchemy lab or child room and set the enable parent to none the game still CTD. I even tried deleting the door of alchemy lab or childs room and it still CTD.
