  1. So are you saying the chinese stealth suit files are somehow burried in fallout 4 game files?
  2. I just saw that chinese stealth suit after watching some vids again. When did they make it and the other stuff? Why hide it until now? Maybe that is stuff already done by "third parties" and waiting to be released when this new crap comes online? Who are those third parties that made those things anyway?
  3. Anyone noticed what mods they showed in the videos? That backpack mod looked familiar wasn't it on nexus? How long have we been waiting for that fallout 3 gauss rifle they just pumped it out in time for that video like it was nothing.
  4. Open season should have been done totally different and killing the gang leaders is not murder as long as killing raiders is not murder wth? What the should have done was based it on what the player was wearing after fighting the overboss. Show up as the MM general in that uniform and they immediately go aggro on ya. Show up as silver shroud same thing maybe tie it to BoS armor pieces or uniforms too. They could have also done something to check if the player has listened to the radio signal and if so then some new dialogue with kells or preston would have opened up and started open season IF the player finished the overboss while wearing the appropriate attire. After exiting the area while wearing the right stuff the related faction supports would spawn all over nuka town and help the player get rid of the gangs. This would still allow the player to go through the nuka world quests as long as they didn't dress as general or BoS member. Oh and make the slave npcs run for cover good grief.

  6. Well you know what I mean, not made by arthmoor and co which is kinda strange I guess they don't like new vegas.
  7. Wasteland melody .50 cal machine gun mod works great for strong I max one of those out and give it to him with 5000 rounds of ammo nothing survives it lol.
  8. I thought about playing new vegas but the animations are something I just can't stand to look at and the bugs are really bad in some quests. I can't figure out which mods to get for fixing things and there doesn't appear to be any unofficial patch for new vegas. Even worse the power armors look like crap in new vegas did anyone fix those things?
  9. Any mod that changes sanctuary and messes with any of the xmarkers there or activators like shaun's crib and some others will screw up a lot of quests it seems they are tied to these xmarkers. I noticed this while quince99 was modding sanctuary and had this same problem with the fire support quest. The first sign of trouble was the signal was active but there was no broadcast playing just an empty signal. I noticed you have modern firearms mod installed... you have to seriously neuter the leveled lists in that mod or it will totally screw up vanilla weapons like unique weapons and some other stuff. You shouldn't need the CUTE mod because the contents of it are built into modern firearms mod. You have a lot of oddball mods in there and wasteland ordinance mod has some issues here and there.
  10. Why did you guys pick miami florida? what about texas or new yaaawk or manhattan or some other place fallout stories kinda sorta elude to? could have picked new mexico too or detroit somewhere the BoS would have traveled to since they only go to places full of tech and secrets.
  11. Dammit I haaaaaaaaaaaateee this bug! I have to assign a big dam sentry bot between the slog and finch farm because for whatever reason the provisioner no matter what they are always walk behind the dam forge instead of down the roads that lead to finch farm. Why the hell do they take that path anyway? or even worse they just walk right through the forge area and for whatever stupid reason those three brahmins are just standing around near finch farm how do I get them to live at finch farm?
  12. They already did it is called snappy house kit but the parts are a lot more snappy in buggy ways but they are workin on it:-) I switched from snap n build to snappy house kit and I ain't lookin back. Combine that with settlement transfer mod and you only have to build once.
  13. I always think of the meshes we have as the A version of the power armor upgrades for armor pieces. What I am thinking is that as the upgrades increase so does the thickness and bulk of the armor pieces so by F level it looks like big chunky ablative armor just like a tank would have. So the jetpack would be mostly a square by F level and pretty much the whole suit would be kinda squarish or really bulky even if it was rounded in design too. The helmet would appear to be the least armored simply because the visor has to be see through unless the design changes to use fancy cameras in the eyes so there is no actual glass or window eyes anymore thus making it actually somewhat RAD proof in appearance.

Wasteland melody has that .50 cal heavy machine gun mod but since he never made any reload anims for it the gun never uses reload and the magazine feels like it is on the wrong side of the gun but dam if it ain't big and looks like it needs PA to operate. What we need is a properly animated M60 machine gun though.
  15. RABBLERABBLERABBLERABBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I've been there but not to that extreme it just feels boring and numb now not frustrating like the op has experienced.
  16. When I had my cpu voltage below 1.4v that far away bug was happening to me sometimes. Once I went up to 1.4v it has not shown up again so far after several months of running at that voltage. Sometimes I would get rainbow bugs and sometimes it would be purple like a normal map then revert to uh, normal when I got close to whatever was bugged.
  17. Better thing is to give them better tactics so they attack with melee after the player is overwhelmed by shooters but not yet in cover. What they do is force you to focus on them first and that allows their shooter pals to shoot you. They are a good challenge but it would be better if they would do things like try to hit the fusion core of the player or another npc wearing power armor and set it off or try to blow themselves up when they get close like the super mutant suiciders do. Raiders are nuts so they would fit right in with that tactic but gunners wouldn't do that I guess they would be more inclined to try and knock the player down with some critical melee attacks. Just shooting at enemies is boring because the whole thing is over just like that. Enemy hiding behind something? throw a grenade or molotov and force them out then shoot them. Give your companion a highly accurate rifle and the enemies go down fast too. I find it funny watching ada melee some poor unfortunate raider to death she can beat the stuffin out of em even with only one hand lol. I just wish melee attack animations didn't suck so bad, makes all the kewl sword mods seem useless.
  18. OP did not mention some things, is this a laptop or a desktop? If a desktop are you overclocking it? any overclocking on the video card? Battlefield 1 for pc caused a lot of desktop overclockers like me who were trying to keep their cpu voltage low or nowhere near 1.4v to just go ahead and set it to 1.4v or stop overclocking. So it could be that if you are overclocking otherwise if everything is default settings or stock settings then it comes down to dirty computer case for desktop or clogged up cooling fan for laptop because people always thing laptops are like toasters or tablets and just use them on anything like giant really thick bead covers or heavy carpet or their dog or whatever then the fan chokes out and the laptop burns up. Only other thing it could be is if a desktop then yeah bad video card or going bad power supply too.

I think the water begging npcs actually show up in your settlements eventually and even that prisoner npc the super mutants haul around even if you can't get the dialogue after killing all the super mutants they run straight to sanctuary and just stand there for a while. I can see why it would be a good idea to recruit those unique npcs though because they are always in danger of friendly fire from the player. The fat man launcher comes to mind first because sometimes you just wanna wipe those raiders off the face of the earth or take down a deathclaw and be on your way but nope those two idiots standing around the campfire talkin bout mirelurk sammiches just had to be there didn't they? Once you get all of them recruited it is just the chems vendors and that one gunner guarded vendor dreth oh and some other chems vendor and another vendor. Dreth actually seems like she was supposed to have dialogue based on the options you get talking to her but for some reason they left it out.

  21. The modern firearms mod has one with many options for it but you will have to "fix" the modern firearms mod so it doesn't screw up your game. Just search my posts for a recent thread where I posted what to do in order to fix it with FO4EDIT. The best function it offers is the ability to switch between single fire and auto fire but I am hoping all these uber detailed gun modders on nexus get together and find a way to use F4SE to do fire mod selection and add in additional types like three round burst or switch weapon mode too like switch to underbarrel masterkey or underbarrel grenade launcher like the modern firearms mod does but without the screwy way it does it. The MF mod can switch fire modes because it just exchanges whatever weapon you have equipped with an exact duplicate only with a different receiver but if you have two of the same base gun in your inventory it won't switch so if someone can do it with F4SE that would fix the issue and maybe these uber gun modders around here can remake the MF mod somehow hopefully anyway. Would be nice to have this kind of mod that changes ALL vanilla guns to work with a fire mod switch and have modded guns too like a framework mod. We already have armorsmith extended and weaponsmith extended mods so this fire mode thing would fit right in. The only problem with the m249 in the MF mod right now is the 100 round 5.56 clip it blocks out the player view unless they aim down the sights. There are two 1st person animation types to try and fix this but they both don't quite do the job so I just avoid that 100 round clip and go for 200 round box clip or 100 round .308 box clip instead oh and we don't have any custom reload animations for that mod either. Dam it would be badass to see an m249 reloading properly:-) Be warned once you sort out the MF mod and get it working you will get all OCD trying to get juuuuuuuust right firing sounds. After using the P90 mod I am getting spoiled on all the sound details for reloading and stuff and not having it for any of the MF mod guns lol.
  22. There is an alternate start mod on nexus you might take a look at that for some inspiration. I was hoping someone would make a mod where he didn't kill the player spouse but instead lied to her and said the player was dead so she leaves with them and lives out her life in the institute raising shaun. The only problem is all the dialogue would have to change about kellogg that has anything to do with saying he killed her.
  23. I just discovered there is a vanilla version esp from the mod I linked to here and it doesn't have any requirements for other mods YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I may have kinda sorta answered my own gripe er question:-)

I pick up maccreepy and give him a desert tan camo beowulf gun from skibs gun mods and some kewl combat armor he repays me by sneaking directly in front of me while I am sneaking and trying to snipe winlock and barnes and pals at the edge of their bridge outpost. I just watch through a scope in disbelief as he sneaks back and forth directly in front of me instead of staying off to the side and taking shots like he should be doing. Companion AI in F4 is just plain crap they can't fight they can't figure out there is a ghoul right in front of them until it hits them and they won't fight if you leave them waiting somewhere.
