  1. Someone please make this. I was trying to farm for a bat staff to use with dark fog (I hear its pretty good) but I've farmed the location dry and never got a bat staff. Now white hollow sorcerer do not respawn in the area, so how the hell am I supposed to get a bat staff if the enemy that drops it, can't spawn? No, I don't want to have to burn an ascetic at a bonfire just to get an item that should drop off simple REGULAR enemies. I mean what happens when you reach the limit of NG+'s ? The game will simply stop respawning enemies? What a horrible thought. This game also does not have a trading menu, so yeah... the only thing you can do is farm for certain items, yet the game doesn't allow you to if you run out of chances to get it. Somebody PLEASE make a mod that resets enemy spawns, or at the very least change the number of times they can spawn to an infinite amount like dark souls 1.
  2. What's disappointing is the fact that there is no official ETA of when it will be fixed. All that's there is this http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/news/1015//? and this was posted a week ago. Not sure if the two are even related.
  3. I cannot download anything either, doesn't matter which server I pick or if I try to download through NMM it doesn't work. Is this going to be fixed ??? I just bought fallout new vegas ultimate from the steam sale and it seems this mod site doesn't work. error: Please attach the following link to the bug description: %2FError%2F%3Ferr%3Dfile_exist
  4. I'm trying to download numerous mods from the new vegas website but all I am getting are errors it doesn't matter what server I try to download from, none of them work when trying to download through NMM either. Please attach the following link to the bug description: %2FError%2F%3Ferr%3Dfile_exist
  5. Alright I'm updating this with some information that got me nowhere. I loaded everything up just fine, exited everything, launched everything, did this a couple of times and the load order never changed with SKSE launching TESV.exe as oblivion.exe instead, so I really have absolutely NO clue how my load order changed.
  6. No, that doesn't do it, inis only control game settings, loaded plugins list is located in a different location (can't remember where right now). However, forcing SKSE to recognize TESV.exe as Oblivion.exe might have something to do with it, not sure though. Hm I really hope not, that would suck beyond belief. I guess I have no choice but to test it. I don't have a choice if I want to use SKSE with crossfire and enb, so either way I'll be finding out real soon if thats the cause of why it was changed.
  7. I just had a nasty little experience that I don't wish to live through again for a very long time, my plugins load order in NMM was completely changed somehow. Is it confirmed that if you delete your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and then launch the skyrim launcher to recreate new ones, does that also change the load order in NMM for plugins? I'd test it myself but I'd rather not re-order 70 mods again. I just want to be sure that I know what caused all the plugins to change load order. I'm also forcing SKSE to recognize TESV.exe as oblivion.exe instead so I can get crossfire working properly with ENB and I'm wondering if maybe that caused this to happen or not.
  8. alright I got my saves working again. I honestly don't have a clue as to why all my plugins were completely out of order in the first place, but for now I seem to have everything working. I think what happened is I used Dual sheath redux skyproc patcher without realizing my mod order had been completely changed, so after I realized everything was in a different order after setting everything up in the correct order and then trying to load a save or a new-game it still wouldn't work until I used the skyproc patcher again because I had unknowningly used the skyproc patcher with a completely borked and totally screwed up mod order which apparently stops even new game from functioning. That was a total cluster F if I ever saw one.... Almost lost 240 hours of gameplay. I'm actually surprised the save still worked, if you think about it that thing should be been radioactive after I did that. Either way I dodged a bullet.</p>
  9. I don't know how my plugin order was changed... if it was because I deleted my skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini and then launched the regular skyrim launcher to reset the settings freshly or what, I don't know, either way all my plugins were in different positions and I wasn't aware of it until this morning when my saved games weren't loading properly. So I changed the load order of my plugins to how they should be, but none of my saves are working properly. Not even "new game" is working. I tried with skse and without skse and not even new game works lmao.... Never even heard of that happening before so I got NO clue what the hell is going on because last night the game was launching and playing FINE after I reset the ini's and I saved and loaded games normally a bunch of times before I went to bed. I have no idea. I'm not a novice when it comes to picking the correct load order for .esp's and I haven't added or changed anything since last night. I'm at a loss.
  10. By deleting them, then getting them back by launching the game through steam, will that affect any mods you have installed? Or are their settings automatically applied again to the ini's if you launch the game again with the new reset ini's ?
  11. If I knew how to do this I'd do it myself but I don't, so here goes... Can someone please move all the bolt holsters from dawnguard on character to the exact position that the arrows are in, then replace the bolt animation with the arrow quiver one, like a copy-paste kind of thing so not much work is involved? Is that doable?
  12. Is this possible? Rain that actually fills little tiny nooks in roads, possible increases water levels of small water sources or larger ones? Actual water runoff from rooftops? Duno, would be pretty damn tight though. Pretty sure the game doesn't currently do this.
  13. now comes my other question, how did bethesda think releasing this was acceptable ? This is some real sloppy work. So if I decided to mod this and I wanted to change the position of the holster, I'd have to make whole new character animations for that as well? (or someone else would?)
  14. The bolt holster for bolts is awful. Looks like its floating behind my orc warrior. When using a 2 handed greatsword the sword literally clips directly through the middle of the holster. To make matters worse, when running in 3rd person with a greatsword on your back (i'm using a sky steel greatsword for reference), for some reason the holster seems to attach itself to the greatswords natural running movements making it look like the bolt holster is literally a part of the greatsword. The bolt holster is literally moving with the greatsword while running. Looking for a mod that fixes this problem. Here some screenshots of what I'm talking about. http://postimage.org/image/8qwyzskbh/full/ http://postimage.org/image/rl9yyubob/full/ http://postimage.org/image/6o88dnvip/full/ Now I did find this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22874 But it has several problems and wasn't done very well. It also seems abandoned as the last post from the modder was in august. can anyone do a better job of this so that this thing actually looks decent on the lower back? Or maybe even do optional placements as well like the holster being up on the shoulder or on the hip instead?
