  2. So I have a shed load of followers in my game, some I have for a couple of quests and the park them somewhere, but there are a few that I like to keep with me all the time. One is "Cambria the naked Brawler", the second is "Rosa Roundbottom". Neither of these have extensive quest lines, similarly neither seem to have any bugs. The Erotic Advenhtures of Misty Skye is also a fun mod , but I have had a few problems with it , I have used the Skyrim 202x mods for ages that enhance the landscape et. al. and with this there are a couple of conflicts with Misty, at one point a courier has to give a letter to Misty who is at a shack outside Markath, the path to the shack has been covered by boulders and he cant get to her, also later in the quest a "Vampire" den near the hotsprings by Darkwater Crossing, has it's enterance completely obliterated by a massive boulder. I'm going to try loading the mod later in the game to see if it will oferwrite those cell areas. Ciri in Skyrim I got rid of because she had a tendancy to use a sort of warp-drive to accelerate towards an enemy, and being as I generally play as an archer I found that as I loosed an arrow she would warp in and get it right in the back. There is also a strange occurance, I had left her behind outside a dungeon crawl and suddenly found her beside me saying " I was just woudering what you were doing"..... Most annoying. I tried The Recorder, found the 5 lost files and in all honesty got bored with her, I tend to loose patience with characters who want to jabber a lot of the time. So what are your personal favourites?
  3. I don't know if many of you out there played Morrowind, but there was a really good mod called Shield Placer (I'm going back about 20 years here). It did what it said on the tin .... with the mod enabled you could drop a shield in a specific location and then through the use fo X,Y and Z axies move said shield to mount it on any wall. I've checked mods like Hearth Craft but they don't have the ability to make a Weapon Rack or Shield Plaque that is useable. Hearth Craft uses the same oor similar XYZ controls as I remember from Morrowind. To my knowledge no-one has made a mod with enough places to mount all the shields that you can find in the game, I think the most I've found was Elysium Estate with a total of 16 places. SO If anyone out there knows of such a mod .... or can make one, it would be appreciated.

  6. What game are you playing there are plenty of Katana and armour mods for Skyrim.   7. Hi Slof, Still hammering away at the old ES series. Unfortunately the latest C/S is waaaaay over my head, so I've not bothered to try and mod. Thing is there is so much good stuff out there anyway that I don't see any reason to try to learn it at my age. (71)
  8. I've been searching around to see if there is anything out there that could undo certain body modifications. I'm no modder and so don't have a clue as to how to reduce the overly voluptuous bodies in the mods. I'm a great fan of the wenches series but I personally prefer my ladies to have less pronounced curves. Being honest I don't know if that is even possible, I thought that I might be able to modify with EFF, clicking on command, then More and then Tattoo brings you to a set of sliders that will allow some modification to most bodies, but some like those in Yuriana and Deadly Wenches won't adjust. If anyone knows of a mod that will return all of those characters to a more nominal size, please point me in the right direction.

  10. I'm now keeping my fingers crossed for Skyblivion , from what I've seen I think it might surpass remastered for play-ability. So far Bethesda are still supportining it.
  11. Does anyone know of, or can someone PLEASE develop better skin textures for this game. I've just turned 71 y/o and my skin is a thousand times less wrinkled and lines than any character you create.

  13. So, after shelling out £60 for the delux version on Steam I started playing with high expectations. To be honest I was expecting a version of Oblivion that played like Enderal, but I was wrong. Whilst the game is very pretty it seem very "clunky" while playing. This becomes evident once leaving the Sewers after character creation. Animation doesn't seem to be anywhere near as smooth as the Skyrim engine, I realise that it's still early days but without serious modding I find the game at present more of a chore to play rather than an enjoyment. I found many occasions where the game engine took ages to catch up with the view, i.e. I would move the mouse to look at something and there would be a series of jerks rather than a smooth pan to the next vista. I have also had at least a dozen CTD's for no apparent reason, and on one occasion when trying to leave the Battlehorn castle I had a black loadscreen that lasted long enough for me to make a cup of coffee while waiting and then I couldn't get out of that screen. The only thing I could do was re-boot my PC to get rid of it. All in all not the best experiance so far.
  14. Querstion :- What makes Pinewatch Unique? Answer :- To the best of my knowledge it is the only dungeon run where you will find a cheast which is both locked AND has an active trigger trap. ( in the small room where the Stone of Barenziah is located.) If anyone knows of another I'd be interested, I haven't managed to locate another that's not part of a mod.
  15. I was getting a whole heap of CTD's , couldn't get near Bee and Barb or Thieves Guild sorted it by not having so many followers mods as they were overloading the cells. Another thing I've found is the before I start a new game I move the old saves to a folder created for the purpose of keeping the characters, so when I start a new game the saves start a 1 ... and not at 3884 as was the case at one time, lol. Things then seem to load a lot easier.
  16. Thanks Scorp10, I've never been able to sort out the skyrim creation kit, I was OK with Morrowind and had a bit of a dig in Oblivion, but the Skyrim kit leaves me at the starting line! You have to appreciate that I'm a 70 y/o Grey haired old fart who is now finding it difficult to learn new tricks. However, having spent a large proportion of my life practicing and teaching many Martial Arts, I would beg to differ over the Steel aspect, compare, say, a medieval Bodkin arrowhead to a bolt from the same era and you will find that there is virtually no differance in the amount od metal used .

Can anyone explain the logic behind the manufacture of ammunition. 1 piece of firewood is used in the manufacture of 24 arrows, each of which will be approx 30 inches ( or 75 cm as near as dammit ) yet it is only possible to turn out 10 quarrels each of which will only be about 6 inches ( 15 cms ) . One would expect to get at least 4 times as many quarrels to arrows for the same amount of wood. Does anyone know of a mod that addresses this quirk?
