I just downloaded the latest NMM, and it still wont work with the latest update for FO4. I followed every single instruction but it keeps saying that the FO4 .ini file needs editing. What is going wrong?

I've been having troubles getting my mods to work for FO4 that I got through Nexus mods. I have tried every fix I could find including editing the FO4 .ini files. I did fix one issue where NMM didnt detect the ini, meaning it now detects it. but every time I try to activate a mod it says I need to edit the ini files, which I have done. Yet it keeps giving me that message. It was very vague but from what other people were saying I understand that a big problem is stemming from the fact that Bethesda has its own mod system up and running for the PC FO4, and its preventing NMM mods from working. I don't know how much is true or not, but I've had enough and just want my damn mods. I was lucky enough to find a couple of the same mods on Bethesda's mod system but there is a lot more that I had that Bethesda hasn't included. And its those that I want the most. If anyone knows how to solve this problem all help is appreciated. I'd like to end with one request, that if anyone responds to this post, please only post answers that are clear and have the potential to fix this problem. I know that I am not the only one having this issue and if the answer is posted here, I'd like it to be easily seen so no one has to go rooting it out from any other post.

First I'd like to start out requesting no judgement. While browsing through anime boxes I saw a few starbound animations and I'd like to have a sex mod made to where instead of attacking you, the normal monsters and hostile npcs would rape you, including the tentacles in the tentacle biome. It would still "damage" the player, but instead of dying when your health reaches 0, your character and whatever is raping it orgasms, then the character passes out. Again, keep judgments to yourselves please, I'm not the only one who would want this mod.

I successfully connect my NNM to my Starbound game and install a few mods with no problems. The location has no issues, the mods are activated, and they have no requirements, but for some reason the mods don't "show up" in the game. For example: I installed and activated the mod to customize my spaceship/spawn in a bigger spaceship. But I spawn in my same old small ship and cannot customize it. This issue doesn't stay with just this game, I also had this problem for Fallout 3. As a side note, I run all my games on an external hard drive so I don't fill up the rest with junk. I don't think that is the source of the problem since all my games run well and I haven't had this problem with my Skyrim.
