  1. IN SHORT WORDS:

I need someone to make mod that will change combat leveling values (One-handed, Two-handed, Arechry (ESPECIALLY HIGH), Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Block.), so getting skill increase will be few times harder.

    IN LONG WORDS:

I'm trying to mod Skyrim in as realistic way as possiible. There's one (and only one) mod that is a complete must-have here. I'm talking about "Combat Realism - Weapons Armor and Blocking". This mod makes whole game much more realistic since with it's changes most of weapons (especially bows and crossbows) are killing in one shot bothly NPC-s and player.

I have like hundread combat mods installed now and game is really realistic and enjoyable now. There is one problem. The mod that I mentioned has one thing that makes game just... stupid. Every successfull strike advances the skill, most of hits that you get from enemies are increasing light/heavy armor, block.

Since actual strike usually kills enemy or takes like 1/2 health - it's not that bad. The thing that needs real fix is archery.

From what I understand - the problem lies in levelling mechanics of levelling. I need someone to make mod that will change leveling values, so getting skill increase will be few times harder.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not a modder but making thing like this doesn't look like a problem and my game modding from few months will be finally finished allowing me to make Combat Overhaul nexus page with listed mods (This mod will be listed too with special thanks to author (I'll make it in bold red on the very top of the description) - so you will get some kind of reward. ).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  2. Once I had Skyrim (2011 version) without any expansions. When SSE has been announced I decided to buy it separatly, because I was thinking, that it will be cheaper, than buying all the expansions, or that I'll get it even without buying them for free.

    Well... I was very wrong...

But to the point. Biggest problem with SSE is that it's not compatibile with all mods for old Skyrim. On the other hand there are some mods that require bothly a copy of Oldrim and expansions.

I want to install RotE (Revenge of the Enemies), but to do that I need to somehow manage to move expansions from Oldrim to SSE.

Problem is - Expansions from what I know are located in two files (f.e. Dragonborn.esm and Dragonborn.bsa). I can easily move esm-s from the SSE to 2011, but Bethesda Softworks Archives (.bsa-s) are missing. Instead of them I can see only archives like: Meshes1, 2, 3 or Thextures 2 etc.

Is there a way to move expansions, or do I need to hack them now?

  3. Well sorry. I forgotten 'bout started topic. I was able to fix the problem. Ironically the .esp file that was causing trouble was named "Khajiit Fix". It came from hgec stock replacer and I activated it accidentally thinking, that it was nessesary to make mod launch properly. I still have created bashed patch hoever, cuz there were lots of textures, that didn't want to load (Black clothes, buildings and fully white menu textures. ).

    Whatever

Thank you for help. Game works perfectly now. I was modding Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim lots of times but this is for sure first time, when there are no bugs and game does't lag.

  4. This issue is caused by the Vanilla game (i.e. Oblivion.esm) using one and the same texture file for the feet of "both" genders of Khajiiti, namely "footmale.dds".

Now after introduction of body mods, making it so the "foot" slot textures are used for full-body coverage, both Khajiit genders will have the exact same skin textures, the ones from the male body mod.

HGEC/Exnem doesn't come with an ESP of its own, thus it sticks to the Vanilla defaults and replaces "footmale.dds" with the "female" Khajiit body textures. This messes up the males, if they stick with Vanilla bodies.

Robert's Male now, however, works around this issue by introducing an own ESP making it so the male Khajiiti use "RTfootmale.dds" instead, and "footmale.dds" is free to be used for the females, i.e. in HGEC.

BUT, certain other race or cosmetics mods "also" come with their own ESPs to set up texture paths for the Vanilla races. And the rule of one in Oblivion modding dictates that only the ESP loading last will have its changes persist. Oblivion does not even differ between the genders when it comes to this. If the body mod's ESP never touched the female paths, they'll still be reverted back to the game's Vanilla defaults, just as they were when the ESP was created in the CS.

There is a way to overcome this problem, which is by proper use of Bash Tags and the Bashed Patch feature from Wrye Bash. This can mark the ESPs from male body replacers so only their male texture paths will be preserved and ESPs from female replacers so it's the same with only the female paths from them, and in the end Wrye Bash will merge it both together into the patch, ending up with the male paths from the male replacers and the female paths from the female replacers preserved and none else.

There's also Kahjiit Fix mods available in abundance, if you just quickly search for this term. But still, those, too, come with an ESP, and this ESP also has to "survive" your load order, which is best achieved by use of the Bashed Patch.

    Well thank you...

But I don't seem to understand. I tried to use Wrye Bash but I don't know, how to create bashed patch and I can't find any tutorial. Second thing - as you said Male replacer has .esp file and female hasn't. If so - how do I merge them?

I'm too stupid for this I think. Just tell me, what should I click after opening Wrye Bash okay? Or if it's diffrent for everyone - please try to describe what should I do with slighty more detail.

  5. IDK, if that's proper forum for question about enb but I'll try anyway....

I'm using SSAO and SMAA only ENB with two fixes mentioned on it's page. Problem is - when ENB loads - it loads game in some strange colors. If I'll hit SHIFT + ENTER it changes to even worse.

The only way, I have found to avoid it is to hit ALT + TAB and then bring back game's window. But there are two problems:

1 - It's annoying as hell to repeat this over time,

2 - I can't really do it now, because game doesn't want to appear back when I'm reopening the window for some reason.

If someone had similar bug/issue once - please tell me, how did you fix that or get rid of it. If you know, what mistake I have probably made or which setting should I change - please write a response too.

  6. There is weird problem with Khajiit males. They have properly replaced meshes, but their texture looks like mix of Khajiit and Imperial. Bug affects whole body not counting head (Hands and Feet too. ). Most of fur texture is misplaced and there is even female Khajiit chest texture on the left side of male's torso.

I had this bug many times before and I think, that I have seen others having it as well but I never was able to fix it or find any forum talk about it.

I'm using both HGEC and Robert's Male Replacer. I have Steam version of the game. I'm using archive invalidation function in NNM.

Did you run FNIS? only reason I say this is because only times I have ever heard of t-poses is due to animation mods and FNIS not being ran and or installed. If your computer was weak it would CTD.

I launched the program and fnis generator showed this:

All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files ...

Alternate Animation mods: 0 sets: 0 total groups: 0 added file slots: 0 alternate files: 0

    Creature Pack not installed

0 animations for 1 mods successfully included (character).

I guess, that it shouldn't look like that, but whatever. I did everything it told me to do. I enabled the .esp file... and nothing.

Just to make totally sure: before the t-pose happened you have never installed and run FNIS?

If not, then you could have have installed a file/mod that is made for Oldrim. If you mix Oldrim behavior or skeleton files then you get exactly what you describe.

Do you use MO or NMM virtual install? Then you need to find what you installed. Otherwise uninstall FNIS. And then go to character/behaviors, characte/character assets, and characte/character assets female. And remove every hkx file you find there.

Yes, some of the mods are made for old Skyrim, but any of them isn't changing skeleton or behavior I think. I mean, that there is one race-adding mod in here and it was for plain Skyrim, but it worked perfectly before update. I was forced to unpack its BSA archive though. I don't know, what do you exacly mean by saying "behavior mods", but I think, that there might will be some. From these mods there are: Inigo and Dovahbear. Inigo is for Skyrim SE atually and Dovahbear isn't changing NPC-S, it only adds creature, and I checked it with this bug too. Actually all creatures still have got their animations and bear has them too. Maybe it's fault of "Bottom of the Well" or "Colovian Noble Clothes" they both are for "Oldrim". First one adds some clothes obviously and the second one adds home with one, single NPC character. But anyways all of them were working perfectly before the update.

    "I think" lol

It's not "fault of" those 2 mods. It is YOUR fault when you mix SE and Oldrim mods without knowing what you do.

I didn't say anything about "behavior mods". I simply told you the most likely cause of your t-pose. And after your response I am 100% certain.

Well, I'm really suprised since I was playing Skyrim SE with old Skyrim mods for months, and everything was 100% okay. Same as now. Everything fu*ked up just after CC update. IDK, why the error "magically ocurred after update" and what micralce made everything fine before. I believe you of course, but it's weird to me. Seriously weeks of playing game, that shouldn't even work. And same bug even with THESE mods diseabled. I don't know, what to think about that...

EDIT: Also I've written about mods for plain Skyrim in the base question. I don't know, why were you in need of my response here...

  10. T pose is usually from animation mods that were installed and you don't have FNIS.

Yep, no animation mods and no uninstalling them. I tried to install FNIS few minutes ago, but everything looks the same. That's why I think, that this is issue with the latest Skyrim update. Hoever, maybe someone has the same glitch and actually that person knows, how to fix it.

  11. About a week ago I've installed some mods for Skyrim SE. Some were from plain Skyrim's Nexus, some from Syrim SE's Nexus and some from in-game mod downloader. Everything was working perfectly in the day, which I installed them. I wasn't able to even use computer for like a week and when I launched Skyrim yesterday it auto-installed the Creation Club update. From that time every NPC character is in T-pose and everyone of them is unable to move (Instead of me, I can move or attack, but there are no animations, and I'm in constant T-pose too). It looks like it affects only humanoids, since all creatures are working perfectly. Firstly I tried to fix that with mod named Re-Animate. Nothing. I have reinstalled whole game. Everything looks the same. And if I'll try to diseable all of the mods still nothing changes. From mods, that might hoewer be associated with this bug I can only mention: USSEP, SSEFixes and IOR (but since I've tried to diseable every of them, I'm sure that it's not their fault). Game is unplayable like that and I can't find anyone with similar problem, since I didn't use any animation mods. While waiting for anyone's response, I'll post this to some other forums, since there MAYBE are some users with similar problem. Thank you for any ideas, even if they won't work, and thank you for reading this. Sorry for the weird form of the text, I copy-pasted it from Bethesda Forums...
