  1. Not working for the 4.X version anymore. I guess it was good while it lasted, unless someone can find another workaround for this patch as well. Mine is crashing at the main menu, not even the appearance people have metioned.
  2. By the way, just so I know, what does the numbers mean? Magnitude is the base damage for the spell or is it something that will be multiplied for something?
  3. Hello everyone, Here's the bump I've stumbled upon while still learning how to use the creation kit. I'm trying to play a pure mage, and I wanted to give him a staff. Problem is, with the Ordinator fixing spellcasting to be viable in higher difficulties, the damage on any staff I encounter is simply way too low. So I took upon myself to make a custom staff for my mage, but then the headache started. I tried to find guides online on how to edit staves, but all I could find was only creating new spell effects for staves and how to edit weapon damage values. That is not what I was looking for. What I'm trying to find is find a way to, let's say, get a Staff of Thunderbolts and bump the 25 shock damage value to something like 60. Just a numerical difference in the damage values without having to create a new spell effect. Is there anyway to modify it, somehow? Even if it means getting the staff to do the usual 25 Shock damage and other unespecified damage type, anything that it's easier to do to reach the desired result: get the staff to have a higher damage value without changing the core spell effect. Thank you very much for the attention.
  4. So, to anyone who's able to edit and create new meshes, here comes an idea. Basically the Lich form in the Undeath mod is using the Dragon Priest model from Dragonborn, which uses the Ancient Nord armor as armor pieces with the lower robe from the classic Dragon Priests. Problem with Dragon Priest armors out there is that they are vanilla, which are not bad byt all means, is that the hood really doesn't look good. Since it was made to fit in an undead's head, it is very tight to the head and makes the character look really weird. So the idea is, the simpler one: Edit a Dragon Priest armor to make the hood, in the part that fits the head only (since the lower part covers the neck and fits really nicelly to the armor), bigger, in a regular hood style (geometry of Mage Hood, for example). The even more complex one, to be really immersive for the Undeath Mod, is to apply the lower robes from the Dragon Priest armor and this edited hood I mentioned above to the Ancient Nord armor meshes. You even got the work cut for you in the gloves and boots, since you just need to use the regular nord armor and just rename it. Here's the Dragon Priest armor I'm talking about: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6537/? And this is the Undeath Mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40607/? I'm not with my hopes up for this mod to be ever made, but I would really like it to be a thing.
  5. This is amazing. Thank you very much. Edit: Just tested it out, looks really good, specially when wearing the Dragon Priest cloak from Cloaks of Skyrim. And it solves the annoying problem I was having with Dragon Priest armor that in First Person the hands do not show the correct armor, instead shows Arch-Mage Robes' hands. Looks almost exactly the same as the Licha armor from the mod, just the lower part is not robes but the naked sexy legs. Doesn't really matter though, since I see my character mostly from the back and with a cloak covering it. Now it's just a matter of finding a matching hood. Thank you again. And hey, if any of my suggestions inspire you to make a full fledged mod "Lich armor", for the ones who wanna get a more immersive experience with the Undeath Mod, I'm sure many people will appreciate it :)
  6. Title says it all. I'm trying to roleplay a necromancer to become a lich with the "Undeath" mod, and I noticed that the Lich model uses the Ancient Nord armor. For roleplay purposes I would really like to play, in my pure caster build, that set of armor unarmored, counting as Robes for alteration perks to have effect. Just the looks. Thank you very much.
  7. Hey, I was just suggesting how to make the mod better. I just like good mods, no experience at all making mods :s Although I would love to learn how to make uber mods like this :)
  8. Level 70 in a skill I think it is too high. I also liked the idea proposed here, would like to look into it as well. Just a tournament with the other members of the companions would more than enough. If may I suggest the order, according to the lore, the tournament be of these challangers: 1st: Ria, as she is the youngest companion. 2nd: That dude I don't know the name whose only passion is to drink. 3rd: The one that trains the player on Block. 4th: The dark elf who trains the player on One-Handed. 5th: Skjor, to trully test the player's might. Battling Skjor to join the companions also adds much to the history , or you could battle against Kodlak at last, as he is the Harbinger.
  9. Yeah, problem is that I just can't trade Enhanced Blood Textures for Crimson Tide... personally I think EBT much more realistic than CT, so only to get the facials to trade for Crimson Tide wouldn't be what I was looking for. And what about the other thing, the voice mod?
  10. I like to play Skyrim a lot, specially with mods that add more depth to the roleplay of the game. Currently only 2 cosmetic mods I feel like they are missing. 1st: Blood splash on clothes and armor. I'm using the Enhanced Blood Textures mod, that makes the combat bloodier and more realistic, but the Bloody Facials mod just didn't delivered what I expected. With the enhanced blood mod I can see beautiful splashes on my enemies as I hit them, so I suppose this could be done so there's a chance that there will be that kind of splash also on the player character. 2nd (and most important): a urgent voice change for Male Nord. Really, it sucks when you see that you're a 6 feet tall brutally strong nord with the voice of a 12 year old boy. Just replacing the player voice with, for example, Ulfric's voice, or Farkas' voice, or even Vilkas' voice, or any other big nord voice would make the make more immersive and realistic. One problem in changing the voices is that if don't also change the voice played on the shouts, the dragon shouts go silent (still usable, but no more sound on it). I am a real enthusiast of mods, although I have not a slight experience with making mods, so I ask that the ones capable of doing such a task to take up this cup.
