I did an uninstall reinstall and it seems to be working fine now thank you.

Hiya all, I must say this mod looks very good. Unfortunately I cannot get it to work atm. I have installed it through NMM but for some reason it does not show up in my MCM. I have SKY UI installed aswell. I can see Better Vampires, Deadly Dragons, etc ok but for some reason not this mod. Any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to ES on PC. First and foremost whatever you do please don't overload your game with mods as this can inevitably cause CTDs for those which are not compatible, and other issues such as corrupt save files. Trust me I have learned the hard way with this. :/ However, dont let that put you off there are some nice mods out there that will enhance your experience with the game. I am just returning after a long absence with and starting to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game. (Yes I have read what others have put on here and am following Lithium Flower's tutorial on how to do this.) I will stress this, please use NMM to install/uninstall mods. This manager will basically do it all for you and save you alot of trouble in the long run. Also the utilities BOSS, Wyrebash, and SKSE (SKSE as some mods require this. Gopher has done a nice tutorial on how to install and use this.) Hopefull I can get my game up and running (not too many mods this time :) ) Anyways hello and welcome and have fun :)

Ive found that by placing the hoth.esp below your UFO does the trick, however I now find that I cannot release him. Im not sure whether its a conflict between UFO and Hoth. I will get in touch with the authors and try to find out :)

Have you still given up on the game? Or are you still trying Veg? Im pretty stable for now, especially after ive bash patched everything thats been needed, and gotten rid of all mods that tbh i never use anyways, they were just nice to haves. :)

Not sure hun, but if your not having half as many CTD's as before then id say persevere with it. And dont get too tempted like myself and no doubt a lot of others to add mod after mod after mod. Tbh well over 50% of my previous mods i installed i never used, encountered, or benefited from anyway. So ive limited my mods. So far so good.

Have you added any quest related mods, or any mods that may hinder quests further into the game. Reason I say is because ive just completed Bleak Falls etc and am about to move onto Greybeard quests and such. P.S Likewise no CTD's as yet.

Id say its just one of those games hun that the pc just doesnt like. As I said in a previous post, even a clean vanilla game (boring) is still gonna crash. So its either put up with it me thinks, or play something else. Im gonna give my game awhile more and see. Good luck with yours. :) Over 2 hours of gameplay tonight and only 1 CTD right at the start after 5mins so not a bad night really. I can put up with that.

Sorry to hear your giving up. Shouldnt. Ive reinstalled again, not as many mods (around 80 or so) most of which are texture replacers, HD stuff, few followers. Im wondering whether its Wars of the Third Era conflicting with the likes of Warzones. Or maybe Monster Mod and another perhaps. Ive a few big mods installed such as Monster Mod, Monster Wars, Warzones, Wars of Third Era, Deadly Dragons, UFO, etc. Maybe its 2 of those conflicting who knows. Ive had a few CTD's tonight, but oh well. Here is my loader order btw, feel free to nit pick. Any advice would be most welcome. Ive already unistalled the steam client and reinstalled. Installing game as i type, and yes I had read somewhere that people were saying that MO was better than NMM. And I know I shall probably end up with CTD's again as I cannot stand the vanilla version. So I will be installing mods. I was also planning on using BOSS, WyreBash, and TES5edit to sort out cleaning mods, load order, and conflicts etc. However I like I said no doubt there will be crashes. I am thinking of loading not so many mods this time. Although I do like the Warzones, Deadly Dragons, ToL, Wars of 3rd Era, and I was really starting to like COT ENB aswell so Ill be installing SKSE again. I do like the COT so am looking for a compatible ENB for that. I also like the follower mods by Netherwalk (Companions etc). Plus Valfar and Hoth. Oh and the UFO follower overhaul. I suppose im going into overkill now and no wonder I experience CTD's. Anyhows again advice on mods, ENB's, etc would be gladly appreciated. You lot are nice here, and helpful. Again many thanks. Heres hoping to a game with a few less CTD's or at least less frequent. Lol ;)

I dont think anyone is ever gonna have a game where theres no crashes. Even a completely clean vanilla game is gonna crash at some point especially on pc. The console versions crash aswell, although they are more screen freezes. But yea 4 hours straight thats a lot better than before. I wish I could go 4 hours straight without a crash. Anyways wish me luck just about to reinstall the game and try again. Quick question should i uninstall steam and then reinstall or the other option its asking me is to replace missing or corrupt files. Not so sure I should be doing that. But oh well, advice gladly appreciated. :)

Well Veg guess what, tick tick tock tock, your about to ....................yep you guessed it CRASH... Lol dunna worry hun Ive been crashing lots aswell, all random and no particular install/uninstall of mod seems to cure it. Its just one of those things where we have to put up or shut up. Im like you I love the immersion, gameplay, everything. I love the game. Im reinstalling again now although ive learnt a lot since last time. Hopefully hopefully it'll be different this time round but who knows....we'll see. Anyways good luck with your game and out of interest keep posting so can see how your getting on. Ill let you know how i go on after reinstall tomorrow. I think Ill try with Alternate Start this time aswell. Something about a particular sound that occurs in Vanilla start to game that bugs if you load AS. Anyways enough of me waffling on, good luck and keep trying, never give up. :) I meant to say start without Alternate Start..
