  1. Hi , do you have windows 32 bit or 64 bit , I was getting crazy because of CTD myself , just changed the windows to a 64 bit version and the ctd stopped , seems like windows with 32 bits has serious problems with managing everything over 2 gb memory . with the 32 bit version , fps were good everything always seemd fine , gpu temparature was fine , all the things with conflicting mods didn't help either , so I know what you are passing , if you are using a 32 bit version , be happy probably installing the 64 bit version will resolve your problems .
  2. Hi , everybody , I just talk about my experiences with ctd and bloating , I had always ctd and tried everything , for me simply changing my windows from a 32 bit to a 64 bit version resolved everything , so who has a decent computer and problems with ctd , check if it isn't because of windows with 32 bits , which has seriuous problems to manage memory about 2 gb , even with 4gb patch and everything . About bloating , I allways had problems at level 40 , with about 13 mb , now I only choose my mods more carefully , installing one by one , and playing for some time , when I see a bloating I simply turn of that mod and start at the save fie before I started that mod . I have monster mod , ufo , skui , unique female followers , cloak of skyrim , basic need , a lot of graphic mods , tundra defense and so on . Many mods that add extra wildlife , gave problems to me , so simply go slow on mods and check every few hours , now it is really a pleasure without ctd in days . now I am level 40 with a save file of 7,1 GB , what a difference
  3. Thanks for all the answers , you maybe noticed that I am not the most informed computer user , My CPU is an intel core I 5- 2500 3,3ghz quad , A friend of mine will first install the 64 bit version and some extra Ram , he knows a lot about this , and he will be able what works together and what not , than I will see what my motherboard is able to support , maybe just changing the windows allready resolves some of my problems . Thanks again
  4. Hi , I actually have sufficent hardware to play on high resolution , the fps seems also good and I don't have staggering. I have a pentium I 5 4GB windows 7 32 bit , a GTX 460 v2 GPU, which should actually run on high , I use mods , but no graphic mods , the mods I install using mod manager and boss . They are not the reason < I think , because on med res. I don't have any problems . My doubts are , does Skyrim 1.7.7 automatically use the 4GB , does it make sense to install an additional 4gb . I am also thinking about changing my graphics card to a raedon 7970 3 GB , to be theoratically be able to run everything on max. Any help is welcome , on what could be the problem and what could improve the performance , T hanks in advance
