So, i've played just enough Fallout London to discover that i'm not going to play any more until I can find a mod that fixes the absolutely horrendous terminal interaction. the forced perspective and terrible viepoint is migrane inducing. I'm not impressed by the keyboard or custom animation, its just an eyesore and the actual terminal we're supposed to read is less than 1/5 of the screen. I just want the terminal screen in full frame, the rest is cancer... Plz help!

my load order seems to be just fine, with a few expected dll mod exceptions. one of which is the achievements enabler, which the author even tried to steer others away from to an alternative. I'm just wondering if is there another alternative other than that fixes mod they mentioned that I simply am overlooking? simply want to start a new game without adding another outdated 'fixes' mod that probably wont even work as it too relies on a library.

console players: Am I a joke to you???

No offense man, but so far you come across more like a discussion specialist than a reverse engineering specialist. You wanna do something for you career? Then get off this thread and start working. You don't like the circumstances surrounding SSE? Then work on a different game. You don't need anyone to give you a good opportunity to actually do this kind of work, quite the opposite, digging into binary code lives on the fact that people do not hand you their cooperation on a silver platter. By my experience this will end like so many things in the past, hundreds of people share their opinion and no one will actually do what needs to be done (because, lets be honest, it's a rough and thankless task that most people can't be assed to do, since it takes time and dedication). oh look, another fanboy joins the fray and tries to tell everyone they dont know what they know and only the nowheretobefound authors that arent working or even communicating are the only people in the universe capable of the task. seriously though, there ARE people willing to take up the task and either succeed or face the internets fury if they fail. the only obstacle in their path is the previously mentioned absentee parents of the project. dont be an armchair quarterback and stand in their way.

the fangirls need to stop. stop kissing the silverlock teams butts and get on board with the real issue being discussed. there is at this point no faith in them to complete the project. someone needs to do so. locking this thread would only result in the death of skyrim modding.
-
compatibility issues would also be an issue with people trying to port oldrim mods.

I'm impatient. but im not throwing monitors around over waiting.

enough of the character assassination posts. a mod really needs to do somehting about this and get the thread back on topic

Various Nexus related things from the Skyrim SE launch aftermath
hex77x replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
well, i'm just here as a 'lookyloo' seeing whats been converted/updated and what might be new. going to wait a week or two to mod the SE myself. but its good to hear that its bringing people back to the game! i was all set to start a new playthrough earlier this year (around the time the SE was announced) but put it off to wait for the SE. cant wait to get immersed again. -
the constant looping bug sounds (usually when in the wasteland area surrounding the park) is unbearable. especially with the generally low volume of the game making you turn up your speakers so much. if you can figure out how to disable this, i would worship you forever... fyi: opening the game menu resets the loop, so i am constantly hitting esc every 10 seconds, ugh...

I read this entire essay in the voice of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy's narrators voice. and i highly recommend everyone else does the same.

i get this, but the texutres are even patchier, and parts look like burlap. but only some of the time, and on npc females. player body is fine. ive re-validated and rebuilt cbbe bodies/textures too trying to figure it out.

just as it says. i like the roleplay the sustinence needs add, but the rest is simply absurd. surv is ridiculous and not fun. i'm not going to waste 20 minutes in real life + an hour in-game every time i want to save. not to mention the other immersion killing restrictions.

Fallout 4 Creation Kit Beta and an Important Notice to Survival Testers
hex77x replied to SirSalami's topic in Site Updates
been fighting this for about 5 hours now, along with several hours yesterday since the update. nothing works. mods always unchecked whenever i restart NMM. yes, its the most current version. game never acknowledges any mods are present, active or not. i'm tired of it, i give up. i'll just wait for far harbor to come out, hopefully by then someone will have figured it out. -
Unusually long load times addressed in Fallout 4 Beta Patch 1.3.47

In response to post #33935515. #33966450, #34023785 are all replies on the same post. spent about 15 mins testing out what went live before work, fortunately whatever issue it was, was worked out during beta. seemed to be smooth sailing. -

In response to post #33935515. #33966450 is also a reply to the same post. borderless fullscreen is the only way i play anything. cant stand game windows not allowing screen roaming, or minimizing when i decide to tab to another window -
Unusually long load times addressed in Fallout 4 Beta Patch 1.3.47

i tried the beta patch for a bit, but i kept getting stuttering, like the old skyrim large-save bug - but mroe often, about every 20 seconds. so i uninstalled it, hope it doesnt carry over to live. did anyone else experience this? -
just installed the NMM update today, and it overrode and renamed all my mods. when there are updates or such addons to mods that enter into NMM with duplicate titles, i usually rename them so i know what's what. after installing the new version and letting it categorize, all were renamed, and many were named to mods i've never seen or heard of. for example one of them is "Hectrol Quickly Wallpaper -1680x1050- -March 1-" i have neither downloaded or even seen this mod. i can only assume because of the url for the download is such an old one (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9) that some now-obsolete mod i have used to be residing at that address. and for the life of me i cant remember what the mod is, i spent about 40 minutes activating and disabling various mods to try and discover what the actual file is. its not really that important, and im not looking for help to discover what used to be at that URL, there just isnt a comment page on the NMM download, so i'm putting it here in hopes that someone can direct it to the right place and this sort of thing can be addressed. i like the new category feature, its just rather frustrating that about 200 mods are automatically renamed like that without any input or option to prevent or allow it.

first off, this is not a gripe, just an honest question: what happens on Sunday mornings that makes the Nexus so slow, and most download attempts fail? Sunday mornings just happen to be the day i usually come just to browse odds and ends sort of mods, and most weeks it seems that if i do find something i want to try out, that its very difficult to get the downloader to work. is it backup-day or some other kind of maintenence? or are Sundays just unusually traffic heavy?? i've always wondered.

yea, on beth forums they waited till the work-week was 80% OVER to chime in on their forums with a "nope not this week" post. i really dont see how this company stays in business, their buisness models and tactics (AND PRODUCT) are horrible. if modders didnt finish nearly all their work for them they wouldnt have anyone playing their games at all.

"i cant see whats on the top 2 shelves in 1st person" lol i'd love to find a fix for this too, that doesnt require a skeleton replacement. way too many fix's involve a skeleton replacer, and i'd rather use my relocated weapon & quiver sheathes than use it for this.

some will hate this, some will love it... i'm somewhere inbetween myself as far as lore goes, lets face it: the dewmer stuff is way past early steam power tech. IRL gun technology, well there were machine guns by the time people figured out how to make steam power. so why cant we get a decent looking gun? primarily a non-gigantic blocky ugly monstrosity. i'm not saying i want a m-16, but a nice Winchester lever action like the one i have on my wall would be really nice.

in conjunction with that, im also getting "file hidden" 95% of the time when i click on a mod link, and then when it does finally load, i usually have to spend about 5 minutes refresshing and reclicking to get past "no files have been uploaded" to finally get to the mod to download them. been that way for about a week for me. or maybe we just fell through a black hole into an interweb in a parallel universe that actually EXSISTED in 1969.... lol
