You are obviously new to the internet. The whole site of Mediafire does not contain viruses. Only specific files hosted on Mediafire contain viruses that were purposely placed there. Most files that are from modders for games probably do not contain viruses because the uploader did not place a virus in the file. Viruses only exist in files because they were placed there. A simple virus scan of the file will detect most viruses.
