  1. Maybe this is a dumb thing to complain about, but I've always been a stickler for smooth gameplay with at least 90+ min FPS. But I decided to play Oblivion again for the first time in years, installed some mods (I'll list the mods I have installed at the bottom), and the game runs perfectly smooth with high FPS, but I still notice some small hiccups when the game needs to render larger loads. For instance going through more clustered cities can have tiny hiccups when it needs to render another section. Going through a dense forest or when loading a new cluster with a lot of elements. I've also been slowly finishing Starfield and notice that I get an constant 165 FPS in most areas, but in higher dense places it hiccups on rendering large chunks. My current hardware on my newly built PC is a 4090 and a 13900K with 32GB ram, very few other games have I come across, especially games as old as Oblivion, have these issues. I don't get these issues with RDR2, which is another very large open world game with few loading screens. Is there a mod that can help with this or simply an edit in the .ini files (I also ran the 4GB patcher). Mods I have installed: Unofficial Patches for base + expeansions 4GB Patcher Stutter Remover QTP 3 HGEC OCOv2 DarNUI Blockhead High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC Natural Environments (I assume this mod could have an affect on high density woodland areas.) Hopefully this is the correct forum to post this in, since I know this forum is suppose to be about Oblivion and not the mods.
  2. I should mention that picture was taken before I downloaded ENB, ENB did actually reduce this a little bit, but it's still there.
  3. I've had this issue before but it never bothered me as much until now. I get very glossy looking rocks both with and without mods. I've tried using the Vanilla Wet Rocks Fix mod, didn't help. I tried using ENB and messing with different settings such as ImageBasedLighting and changing gloss settings, doesn't do anything. The mods I have downloaded that would affect this glow is Vivid Weathers, Realistic Water Two, Enhanced Lights FX and SMIM. https://imgur.com/a/4KWNU1b
  4. So I seem to be having an issue with the sound in this game. I've scoured the internet looking for an answer but nobody seems the have the same issue I do. So the issue is, when I enter/exit a room I get a crackling sound. It's not every room and it doesn't happen outside, it seems like a certain ambient frequency gets played to imitate a more 'hollow' sound and it gets congested. I do currently use Reverb and Ambiance Overhall, but I've tested this with it on and off. I also use Voicemeeter, but I've also tested this with and without it. I've also changed frequency settings in Windows, but no luck. Here's a short video I posted on Youtube of the sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGTm_xLV-w4
  5. Is there a mod that exists that removes the light under your character? It's essentially like a pip boy light, but not as bright. It's annoying because it's like I'm walking around the wasteland with the pip boy always on (and no, I don't actually have it on). I know it doesn't effect gameplay (sneaking) but it ruins my immersion lol.
  6. I don't know about all mods, but I know 'bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1' must be '1' in both Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini for the matching of head to body skin tones. I know the most popular one being Fallout Character Overhall (FCO) literally requires this to work properly. I've had the same issues where their body skin color is dark brown while they have a pale white face without that .ini setting.
  7. Although that really should be 'Fewer'. Anyway, that's in the rebalance module. Thank you very much. Don't know why I didn't think to just check the PN Settings.
  8. So I never noticed this until recently in NV, but my level 33 character with 5 Endurance seems to only have 150 Hit Points. The mods I use are Project Nevada with Primary Needs HUD. My character was a sniper so I honestly never checked my HP cause usually I never let anything get too close. As I went to the Quarry Junction however to fight Deathclaws, I noticed a normal Deathclaw was able to 1 shot me, and a Young Deathclaw took slightly more than 2 hits to kill me. I figured it was 1 of 2 things, either Project Nevada's rebalance scaling broke it, or maybe it was a bad Save Game at 1 point. Now, the NV Wiki says the HP scaling is as follows (not counting Project Nevada): 95 + (Endurance x 20) + (Level x 5). In my case this would be: 95+100+165 which should equal 360, not 150. So I decided to test 1 of the possible issues by starting a new game and having the character start out with 10 Endurance. After doing so I noticed the new guy only had 200 HP, which is still wrong considering the Wiki's calculation (It should start with 300). I also completed all the beginner quests at Goodsprings to raise my level to 2 and noticed my max HP didn't raise as it should, just stayed at 200. Any help would be appreciated, hopefully without having to reinstall the game and all mods, cause with Windows Vista, it's a huge pain in the ass and I don't have it in me to even bother.
