  1. Been raining here, off work for a bit. Remembered the books...I was bored. No worries.
  2. Yeah, I did mention stalking. Reference "Notes on Dimhollow Crypt" ( check spelling) book found just prior to freeing Serana..."No Ancient Nord constructed this" or some such. Memory failing let me see if I can get the content. Helping...yeah. Yeah, Of limited use... Notes on Dimhollow Crypt, Vol. 3 (http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Notes_on_Dimhollow_Crypt,_Vol._3) Direct quote: "There is no mistaking the stark contrast in architecture here; no ancient Nords make this stonework. Here, too, were more of the gargoyle statues that i first glimpsed in earlier passageways."..."The style and craftsmanship in the stonework are not only distinct in terms of design, seeming to speak of an entirely different culture than that of the old Nord peoples, but also in skill with which they were fashioned." Reference "Immortal Blood" (https://www.imperial-library.info/content/immortal-blood) "The next day, he did return with more questions, these ones very specific. He wanted to know about the vampires of eastern Skyrim. I told him about the most powerful tribe, the Volkihar, paranoid and cruel, whose very breath could freeze their victims' blood in the veins. I explained to him how they lived beneath the ice of remote and haunted lakes, never venturing into the world of men except to feed." (there is a bit more but of equal value in my opinion. i.e. little value.). You may have to invoke a bit of Artistic License, appears to be a gray area in lore (specifically Volkihar,). Make it up with restraint? Of interest: Never noticed..."Librian's comment: Movarth Piquine shows up in Skyrim. The player stops him from turning the town of Morthal into his own personal feeding ground. This book appears in ESO - Movarth must have been ancient indeed, if the book speaks of the same man." ... of "Morvath's Lair" by Morthal?...Radiant quest...Helgi? Helgi's Ghost?, the "burned before turned" child ghost in the "Burned down house". Wow,The Author speaks of the vampire the PC has to kill, before he was a vampire. The author is responsible for turning Morvath, a long, long time ago. Dude was old, till we talked to him...neat. Apologies, Other people to stalk...going off subject is a sure sign...Later. Stay safe,
  3. Excellent news. I have been holding back from playing SkyrimSE for Vortex. Wishing The ENTIRE crew Happiness and health this holiday season! Be Safe!
  4. I volunteered for testing...begged even. Give me a link or I am calling mother....I cannot wait any longer... Thank you for what you do!
  5. I was afraid of that. Thank you for the invaluable information. Two steps back,...three steps forward. Thanks again.
  6. Okay,I need some sense spoken to me. I have been using Mod organizer for about two years now modding Skyrim. I does require some attention to detail but i like it. I find it easy to use once you get it to play well with other tools. Recently I again changed my load order to begin a new play through using new mods for a different game style. I have gray/dark face bug. I opened Creation Kit with Mod Organizer, Activated Skyrim.esm, all DLC's and the mod I believe is the issue, S.O.G.s v6. These are the only things I told the CK to work with. I selected all NPC's and did "Ctl+F4" to export facegen data. As predicted the CK went into it's "working coma" reporting "Not Responding". I then opened window's Resource Monitor to make sure things were still going on. In Resource Monitor I saw the CK reading and writing to EVERY ACTIVATED FILE IN MY GAME LOAD ORDER that dealt with NPC's in any way. Some of those files I had no clue held NPC facegen data. I have been watching a stupentous amount of reading and writing for 6.5 hours now and I am not sure what my game is going to look like now. Any reason The CK is reading from, and writing to files I did not activate in the CK? What the heck is going on? is this normal? *Help*
  7. So...the game ran last in your last config. or you started the game since you, "...reset my Skyrim mods and stuff and went back to scratch..."? I ask because i believe the move to SSD may have done the deed in this instance. Try "verify integrity of game files" in steam. That my work. Edit: I did not look at your ini files as I hope those were looked at when putting in the new ENB. I am not Mr. modder... Nor "the answer desk", just offering handicapped help. Read the instructions of every install carefully. they normally tell you if you need to adjust settings in ini's and such. Hopefully those are okay. Good luck.
  8. Okay...I was just kidding about the logo'd blazer and Beta tester Magazine subscription...really, I just need the link. Now. Or , tomorrow, because, uh, I really need it. Thank you folks for what you do. I was just stopping by to check in and say hello. Sending positive thoughts!
  9. I am still in line for the link...please take a number and stop pushing. Please keep the line clear. I feel something happening(!)....
  10. Still playing/mod tweaking OldRim. Watching intently for The opportunity to start my virgin SkyrimSE using the shiny new VorteX, the mod manager that is like a force of nature in the electronic realm. Like an eight year old waiting for Christmas. Thank you Tannin and crew ( not to mention any Dark forces involved...) for giving me something to anticipate again. Do the magic that you do!
  11. Sending out supportive and inspirational vibes! Looking forward to trying it out! Keep pushing and thanks!
  12. As I have not received my Vortex Beta Tester magazine, Logo'd blazer and Vortex Beta download link I think it is safe to assume Vortex is not developed to the point of beta distribution yet...How could such a worthy applicant as I be turned down? Yeah...that's what I am going with. Sending out productive and supportive vibrations to the development team. Thanks for your efforts!
  13. Hey Tanin42,...Come on brother,...slip me the link...I am good for it. No one is looking this way...I NEED IT MAN. :geek: For general consumption: Please do not hate me because I tried Mod Organizer and liked it better...I am not smug or Superior of visage, thought or deed. I am excited for the new offering which should be Superior to both previous offerings due to the collusion of the minds on this project. Seriously, please do not allow this to become a common pissing contest. This is going places hopefully.
  14. I much prefer Mod Organizer and it's U.I. over Nexus Mod Manager. Guess what? Who cares? This is new, different, Neither and both...TOTALLY NEW. Get over your current opinions, take a deep breath and try it. CREATE NEW AND EXCITING OPINIONS about a NEW offering. (YAY!). Uhh,...Alpha test link not forth coming...Depression and anxiety beginning... Keep up the GREAT WORK!
  15. Reporting for Alpha testing. Direct me to the download link please.
  16. To Whom it may concern: I am officially applying to the position of BETA TESTER. I will be more than happy to suffer lost files, compromised save files and the obvious other possibilities when putting together new software like a Mod manager/organizer. PUT ME IN COACH! Gimee, gimee, gimee...(cough) please pass the manager this way. I am very professional and deserving, Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
  17. Nexus Mod Handler, Mod Master, Nexus Mod Tool, N.E.X.T. ( Nexus Experimental X tool )...Uhhhhh...
  18. Tannin42 put out Mod Organizer in his "spare time" while working a full time job...Now the New and Improved Nexus Mod Manager IS his job. (no pressure Tannin...really!) I am really excited to see the results from this combo situation. I have used Nexus Mod Manager, it works. Mod Organizer though is a different approach...opinions differ. For me, on this subject "virtual file system" is the better option. No offense intended to the Nexus team. Mod Organizer was my choice over NMM as soon as I discovered it. I cant wait to see what this brings!
  19. I believe you can look at Mod Organizer reviews and get a pretty good idea of the features of MO2. I do not think it was ever totally burned in and shaken down by THE Tannin42 ( may he continue to produce Gems like Mod Organizer.). All changes are made to a virtual file system, NOT your game files. That is what does it for me. Otherwise no software is perfect every time. We all have our crosses to bear. Every user is different. I still play Skyrim through MO till all the mods I now NEED are available for SkyrimSE. That includes a good Mod Organizer/Manager. I am very excited to see the future. As others have said before me, "wait for it...".
