I'll be sure to try out Jaxonz Positioner next time Lakeview Manor resets, thanks for suggesting it.

As the title says, is there any way at all to delete an object from the game for good? I'm having a hard time decorating my Lakeview Manor the way I'd like to since it keeps resetting and everything I didn't like is back time and time again. For example, that long dining table in the main hall - I wanted to put a few plates and tankards on it to make it look like somebody is actually dining there, but whenever I do that and cell resets, they're pushed over by, I don't know, a cheese wheel or stupid dumpling that comes automatically with the said table. Now, I did try using console commands, both "disable" and "markfordelete", even both of them at once (first "disable", then "markfordelete"), but for nothing - the items are gone, yes, but only until the next reset. Quite frankly, it's maddening. I've been hoarding cheese wheels, candlesticks, goblets and whatnot and it was all for naught, it seems. All this talk about how changes made by "markfordelete" are irreversible...well, it's either bullsh*t, doesn't work on Hearthfire homes or I'm doing it wrong. That's why I'm asking for help, maybe there's a mod for that, a different command, anything.

Oh, I see. That explains why I couldn't find that one armor on Nexus. Too bad it wasn't uploaded, it looks great. Anyway, Stalhrim Redone looks interesting too, thanks for recommendation!

Hello all, I'm looking for Stalhrim armor shown in the following image: https://67.media.tumblr.com/4a3fdc1f0366c0ef235950a2ea6d070a/tumblr_mw9vdeMidN1r6qglpo1_500.jpg I looked on the Nexus, of course, but couldn't find anything like that and it looks kind of awesome, way better than the original. Thanks for all the help and I'm sorry if I started this topic in wrong section.

I'm having a little problem with misplaced lanterns around bridges. I attached a screenshot of the Whiterun bridge, by the meadery. Most of the lanterns along the roads are totally okay, but those around bridges all look like that all of a sudden. Similar thing is true for some torches, for example a few in Embershard Mine. Any idea why that happens? Here's my load order: It's probably a load order issue, but I have no idea what and where to move. Thanks in advance for any help. Oh, here's the image:

Hello all. After a long time I came back to playing "Skyrim" again and again I have an issue with dear old Valdr. I'm level 27 and have met him only now, on my way to Falkreath. Problem is, he either won't talk to me at all (he's just standing there, not even sitting, with "angry face", as in combat) or talk generic lines like "Good morning" or "Hmm?". I can't heal him, can't talk to him, can't start the quest to clear out Moss Mother Cavern, nothing. I tried the console to advance this quest, but for some reason typing setstage dunMossMotherQST 5, 10 or 30 won't work. Nothing happens. Enabling and disabling him fixes his angry face, but nothing more. I know it's just a misc quest, but I wanted to complete it nonetheless and now it seems I can't. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help.

Yeah, I saw this one, but I think it says it works only for custom houses, while the ones from Hearthfire are not custom, but DLC. Or something like that. But thanks for the suggestion, Jimmy!

Okay, I started playing Skyrim again, build Lakeview Manor as a family home and wish to adopt children in the near future. Thing is, I intend for them to sleep in the kitchen wing, while setting up the kitchen behind the main hall, above the cellar. Placeable Statics lets you build anything anywhere, the only problem is that kids need to have their beds and chests either upstairs or in that bedroom wing, otherwise they can't be adopted. My question is: is there any way - a mod, a console command, anything - to adopt them and force them to sleep elsewhere? Maybe build their beds and chests and then delete them in favor of that "custom bedroom" I'm planning? But won't all this go to hell once the cell resets or something? Or perhaps a mod to let you build two bedroom wings, I don't know. Anyone?

So, while playing Skyrim the other day and collecting pieces of Mehrunes' Razor for Silus Vesuius (again), I had this sudden thought cross my mind: are there any more men like him somewhere in Tamriel? Men of course a lot less opened about their past, intentions and/or continuous allegiance to Dagon even now, in the Fourth Era? I mean, Dagon surely still has some secret worshippers here and there, even after the Oblivion Crisis, but do you think Mythic Dawn really just died off like that, with all its members identified, hunted down and eradicated over time? I might sound a bit paranoid about that, but let's not forget that Mankar Camoran's men were able to stay in shadows and plot for Divines know how long before striking, and when they finally did strike, they took not only the good Emperor himself, but also all of his legitimate sons (in fact, when the Emperor figured out what's happening, it was already too late, wasn't it?). And I'm thinking - if their enemies (particularly Keepers of the Razor) could pass their mission from one generation to another, why couldn't some Mythic Dawn holdouts do the same, like a proper cult? Perhaps causing yet another daedric invasion isn't something they think about or even can do (correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think the gates between worlds are forever shut thanks to Martin's sacrifice), but I'm sure spreading chaos in Dagon's name would be enough for them. As I said, I might sound a bit paranoid (although to be honest, I think any Mythic Dawn holdouts out there aren't much of a threat compared to the Thalmor - but that might work to their advantage), but I'm simply curious about your thoughts on the matter, if anyone care to share.

So, today I was going through Markarth doing all the local quests and leaving those that take me outside the city for the last (to complete them all later); it's all been going smoothly until I tried to complete Lisbet's quest - she tells me that she's lost her last shipment with Dibella statue to the Forsworn, so I'm offering to retrieve it, but even though she mentions a nice sum of gold waiting for me when I return, the quest won't start. No location, no journal entry, nothing. Now, I've read that it might happen if you clear most of the Forsworn camps around Markarth, but somehow I don't think that's the case here - knowing that clearing most or even all surrounding locations might temporarily block some minor quests I went straight to Markarth and even if I'd clear a dungeon or two on the way, I think Lisbet's quest wouldn't start at all instead of simply not appearing in my journal (all the dialogue goes normally, I mean she's giving me that quest and I can accept it). Similar thing happened with the second quest for the Jarl (retrieving his father's shield), only in this case there's no dialogue option at all so I'm sure it's because of some cleared location and it's all the matter of waiting for the enemies to respawn. But Lisbet? If anyone ever experienced that problem, I'd be grateful for some tips or any help. I tried starting that quest via the console, but it didn't work. Of course it's not some big, game-breaking problem for me, but I know it'll be like a thorn in my side for quite some time - until I somehow complete that quest or simply forget about it.

About "The Book of the Dragonborn", there's one particular fragment puzzling me: "The World-Eater wakes, and the Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn" Well, in Skyrim, the World-Eater is on a rampage once again and we have our brave Dovahkiin to face him, right? Now, at the very end of the game, it is heavily speculated by both Esbern and Arngeir (if not spoken outright - I don't quite remember) that Alduin wasn't killed in Sovngarde but rather temporarily banished and that he will return one day. So, if my understanding of all this is accurate, whenever Alduin awakes, there will always be a Dragonborn to deal with him again and again - up until the end of days, when the World-Eater will be finally slain by that Last Dragonborn. I've probably said here something everyone already knows, but that's why I don't think our Dovahkiin to be the last.

Somehow I never thought about disabling and enabling (I guess I was afraid that'll mess things up even more), but I managed to get around that glitch in the meantime - Valdr still thought I healed him even though I didn't, but at least he stopped floating there and the rest of the quest went like it should have in the first place. But thanks for the tip, it might come useful in the future!

Okay, so I'm playing Skyrim again, I started yesterday and just got out of Riverwood to explore a little bit. A moment ago I stumbled upon Valdr, sitting right next to Moss Mother Cavern and asking for help, as usual. Well, maybe "sitting" is not the best word as he is...floating, levitating in the air. Of course I can't talk to him when he's like that, so I tried to reload - nothing changed, he still believes he can fly, only this time he didn't call out to me either. It's like he's there, but not there - he's visible and all, but I can't talk with him or anything. I killed him and then resurrected. Guess what he did? Went home, just like that - no dialogue about healing potion or his dead friends, nothing! Then I tried to enter the cave (just enter, without clearing it) - when I get back to Skyrim proper, he thanked me for healing him and went on about how he can't go until his friend are avenged and Spriggans dead. Sorry if I sound a bit upset, but I have the lastest game version, all unofficial patches and things like that still happen, right at the beginning of the game...what's most annoying is that it's just some misc quest, get in, kill everything, get out, and I might not be able to complete it normally anyway. I'd be grateful for any help here, but it wouldn't surprise me if I'm the only one with that bug. Anyway, any ideas?

Characters you can't stand to see killed off
Inquart replied to LordSarcasm's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Well, I'm usually playing as a lone wolf, so any companion's life or death is of no concern to me; however, as a hero, nordic paragon of virtue, savior of the world and whatnot I always aim to help and/or save everyone around me, so if some unlucky villager or citizen gets killed during dragon attack or a vampire raid, that gets to me, more often than not to the point where I reload the last save only to save that one person. Just yesterday I had a run-in with a Master Vampire and his two hounds in Whiterun - the vampire himself made it to the town, but the hounds somehow didn't and when I went outside, they were attacking a horse in the stables. Of course they killed it easily and I couldn't stand poor animal dying like that, so I reloaded last auto-save, run like crazy to the stables and put those beasts down. You know, I can stand Imperials or Stormcloaks dying, I have absolutely no problem killing bandits, necromancers or other wrongdoers, but innocent people (or animals) dying only because I wasn't quick or strong enough to save them - nope. Well, what can I say - I guess I'm a nauseously good Dovahkiin. -
You know, I really like that theory, it makes perfect sense (though I'd like to catch them red-handed using bodies as a fertilizer or harnessing Spriggans powers ).
