  1. Have this problem happening with my character's hairline behind the ears with short haircuts, wondering if there's an easy way to fix it.

Mods I'm currently running that change characters are, in this order...

    Total Character Makeover

    Northborn Scars

    Ethereal Elven Overhaul

    Ethereal Elven Overhaul SSE Patch

    Thanks for any help!

  2. Do you have the latest MO2 2.0.8.3? I had no problems installing it.

Check Settings / General / and make sure the "Download Meta Information" box is not checked. I believe if this is checked, MO2 goes off and can get the wrong information.

Let me know how you get on.

The download meta information box was already unchecked, but thanks for the help :)

I assume this is for SSE. If not, please ignore this post. I think the FOMOD just spazzes for some reason (did for me- maybe I should try BlueGunk's suggestion). Good news you can use MO2 with SkyUI 2.2. Works great.

    Here's what I did:

    1. Close MO2, and open NMM. Install like normal. You're essentially installing an "interface" folder in the SSE data folder.

    2. Go through FOMOD and get the version you like with the fonts and stuff you prefer.

    3. Rezip that file in the data folder as-is. Just right-click on the interface folder in your data directory. I named my 7zip file "SkyUI for MO2".

3A> Important--- once archived and copied, uninstall or delete those from NMM and the data folder.

    4. Close NMM, and drop a copy of the 7zip SkyUI file in your MO2 download folder.

    5. Open MO2, go to downloads, and install as normal. As long as you re-archive the file with the options you prefer and no Fomod, it just installs and works.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend following the instructions out there to alter the 3 files necessary to eliminate the SKSE warning messages you'll otherwise encounter if you don't get rid of them. Great video walkthrough so you can do it step-by-step ->

This worked perfectly! Got SkyUI up and running in MO now. I've also removed the warning many times when I used NMM, so I got that taken care of easily, the walkthrough video with Sean Connery was funny though :)

Thanks for the help! Just started using MO for the first time yesterday and I'm finding out how nice it is compared to NMM, definitely has a couple drawbacks though.

  3. I've been trying to install SkyUI 2.2 using MO.

    1 - I downloaded SkyUI 2.2 manually

2 - I click Install a new mod from an archive in MO and select the SkyUI 2.2 Archive

3 - I get this message in the logs, but SkyUI 2.2 isn't added to my mod list at all.

    13:12:47 [D] mod id guessed: SkyUI_2_2-3863-2-2.7z -> -1
    13:12:47 [D] passed mod id: 0, guessed id: -1
    13:12:47 [D] using mod name "SkyUI" (id 0) -> D:/Users/Pasquale/Downloads/SkyUI_2_2-3863-2-2.7z
Any help installing 2.2 with MO would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I'm playing a no fast travel playthrough (have it disabled) and am wanting to use the buildable house mod that everyone knows and loves. The only problem is that that particular house would be a pain to run to every time I need to visit my house.

Is there any mod that places a spell or item that allows you to travel back to a particular area quickly? Or teleport to your house, then back to where you came from?

  5. Is there any way to edit ambient light sources in the console? I'm having an extremely annoying lighting glitch near the rear right window in Breezehome and can't open the mod in the CK to remove it. I know in the CK they come up as big white light bulbs that you can change or delete, but since I can't open the file in the CK (loading gets stuck) I need another way to do it which hopefully doesn't include me having to find a different housing mod, cause I love the one I'm using.

  6. Make sure you've uninstalled every single file of the mod, even if you uninstalled it with nexus mod-manager. An option to see if uninstalling really fixed your problem, would be creating a new character and see if the merchants have the default amount of gold or still the bugged one. A second option, is to edit the amount of gold a merchant has by default, limit being under 30 thousand septims everytime you may want to sell something. I do not know the mod's name you used for the merchant's gold editing, a name could be helpful definately.

As for the lighting mod, I have little experience to be able to properly help you, so I'd prefer staying out of it. I'd suggest to read whichever information the OP posted regarding the mod itself. If no information is available, contacting the OP might be a good idea.

    Cheers!

This is the mod I used for the merchant gold, it's called trade and barter: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34612/?

It's hard to test on new characters because the problem is only with the game's fences when the thieves guild is fully upgraded. Also, from what I understand this glitch happens with vanilla games as well when vendor gold goes above 30,000. Whether you buy a lot of items from them at once, or do expensive training, or both. Once it's over 30,000, it's bugged. Can't find any sort of solution to it though.

  7. I'm having 2 big problems with Skyrim and I was hoping someone would have the solutions to them.

    1) I'm using a mod that increases vendor money amounts, but it sadly boosted the gold of all the fences in the game to 40,000. Apparently at 30,000 there is a bug where when you sell an item to the vendor, you get no gold, and their gold level doesn't go down. I've tried deleting the gold in their inventory with the console, uninstalling the mod, killing and resurrecting them, and resetting them with the console and nothing works. This one is the biggest problem I have right now, because I can't sell any stolen goods at all. Anyone know of a mod out there, or some other way to get their gold levels back to normal and functioning correctly?

    2) I'm not running any lighting mods right now, but apparently this is a pretty common bug that I can't find a solution too on the internet. Lighting is bugging out in Breezehome right next to the bar. As I'm walking towards the back of my house it's like a light turns on depending on what angle I'm facing and the position I'm in. Here is 2 screenshots of the lighting bug, and again I appreciate any help here.

  8. So if I had known this was a thing I would have never picked up that sword at all. Whenever my game loads or reloads, Chillrend's crackling sound effect is constantly playing. This happens even if I totally remove the item from my inventory, or even delete it with the console.

There is a fix, typing "sexchange" in the console twice totally removes the sound effect, but if I'm loading up my save for the first time, or reloading after a death, the sound effect comes back.

There's also a mod that fixes it (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/896/?) but it seems that I cannot download it from nexus for some reason. I just keep getting redirected to a white screen.

Anyone know what I can do? Typing in sexchange every time I load is not an acceptable solution for me. If anyone knows the location of the sound file in the game's files, I'd be happy to just delete it entirely. Thanks for any help.

  9. I'm having an issue and I'm fairly certain it's because of Realvision ENB. Everything in it is perfect, but depth of field is messing up the immersion when it comes to the sky. When I'm not looking at the sky, all of the clouds become fuzzy and looks pretty awful. This is about three times as bad at night when there's bright stars, northern lights, or the moons out. Almost all of the stars get blurred out and give off little to no light.

I'm wanting to just turn off depth of field because I'm not a fan in general, but I can't figure out how. I tired disabling the ENB in NMM and reinstalling it with DOF off, didn't work. I tried disabling the ENB completely, didn't work.

Anyone know of what I can do?
