  1. Thanks for the link! Is this the mod that you prefer then? I guess the other thing that I'm trying to ask is are there any issues with the original Jsawyer mod nowadays?
  2. Not sure whether I should install the original Jsawyer mod or just go with the Ulimate Jsawyer mod, which seems a little more updated and compatible with mod organizers and managers. The mod description in the Ultimate edition mod says that the original mod is difficult to patch alongside mods. But I'm sure that some folks will say to use the original mod since that's what Josh Sawyer intended. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61592/?tab=description So for you folks who have played with these mods, do you have a preference for either one or are they about the same? Thanks!
  3. Does the instance need to be named specifically named for the game? Like Fallout New Vegas Instance 1?
  4. A Thanks again. I selected new instance, but now what do I name the new instance as? Does it have to be anything specific (like my username on Nexus)?
  5. Unfortunately, I don't have any mods at the moment in MO. Is there another way?
  6. Thanks! Another question- when it comes to picking an instance for the new mod manager, do I pick new or portable or manage instances?
  7. Then how do I go about updating MO? Will it auto install when I download it? And do I need both the MO archive and installer?
  8. I've had a problem the last few days were I go to download mods into mod manager, but instead of downloading the mod, nothing happens. Instead I get an error message that says "failed to request info from Nexus: invalid response". I can't download anything now at the moment. What do I need to go to fix this problem?
  9. Does anyone know how to get this mod into mod manager, since the original mod isn't available from Nexus? And where should I extract the files to?
  10. Wiping those two folders out of the overwrite did the trick. I no longer have the overwrite warning in the top right corner of Mod organizer and the overwrite heading in the left hand column is greyed out. Thanks!
  11. If I click on the overwrite bar in MO, I get this little menu with folders labeled uio and menus. Are these where some of the overwrite files are kept at? Should I delete the stuff in those two files then?
  12. Thanks for your reply. I'll let you know if I have any questions
  13. Hello all, I'm just getting into Fallout New Vegas modding. So back in November I got FNV on Steam, downloaded LOOT, Mod Organizer, and several mods to go with the game. The game would work but then would crash within 15-20 minutes of gameplay. I only got a couple hours into the game before I called it quits on FNV for a bit. After deciding to go back to FNV, I wiped my all of my older saves, deleted all of the mods I had downloaded, and then uninstalled and reinstalled the game last night. However, there still is a red overwrite title underneath the main game ESM's, saying that I have files in my overwrite. How can I clear out the overwrite file so I no longer get this error message? My computer's operating system is current Windows 10. Let me know if I'm missing anything, or if you need any additional info. Thanks for your help!
