Oh for the love of God it was a body tattoo alpha in racemenu. Feel free to delete.

I have painstakingly installed a little less than 1k mods and worked out every error, missing texture, conflict, dirty edit and blah blah blah until the list is as I wanted it. But one fix alludes me. The dreaded missing skin texture (I think). Anywhere skin is exposed I get purple or white skin (on player character only). I am only using a few "body" mods which I shall list here. The preset was meant for Lorerim. I've tried several different skin textures but all seem to do nothing. Preset: Robert - Male Nord Preset for LoreRIm https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/129058?tab=description Skin: BnP - Male Skin https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65402 The only other body type mods I have are for the fairer sex. Well they used to be fairer... Yeah I'm old.

Make sure you have your FPS capped at 60fps. FPS over 60 Skyrim no likey. There is also a bug that causes spinning etc upon death if hit with a Paralysis spell. You might also want to try something like this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83716

Skyrim Crashes after Character Creation, Help!
Valkyrie replied to CarnalChill's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Its crashing DURING character creation correct? If so, Try this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/?tab=posts Also during character creation try to pop out of the racemenu mod to the normal vanilla part once in a while. I forget what the deal is but I think it uses more and more memory until it eventually crashes if ya stay in it too long. If you google "Skyrim racemenu crash" you will see a metric ass ton of posts about it. -
Ok first off, verify your game files thru STEAM. (you will have to re clean your masters afterwards if you cleaned them) Well I'll be damned. Look what I just found... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429076438 Well that saved me some typing.

What ENB are you using?
-
Go into... I think into your mod settings in game under SkyUI and there is an option to opt out of checking swf files for map, menus etc.

Are you using LOOT for load order? Have you checked for errors using TES5Edit as shown around minute 2 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPwiY7NBVTM&list=PLAxUevXR_SD2ICe3ioc0zeIQJvrBklzUu&index=2&t=162s Using Safety Load? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465 Performance monitor? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491 SKSE installed and updated? Have you made any ini changes? Ugrids etc

GTX 900 series SLI woes - Realistic Water Two
Valkyrie replied to nathanbo's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Did you cap your FPS to 60? Skyrim engine no likey higher FPS's. -
Make sure Steam is running and minimized.
-
Your very welcome. Have a great X-Mas!

You could just download Afterburner and just use it to cap your FPS and leave everything else alone. Skyrim seems to run best under 60fps Heres a video showing how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQ5CH1yMZ9s Heres a download link: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/msi-afterburner-beta-download.html

Can someone help me understand this?
Valkyrie replied to Dovahgamer1208's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I would start uninstalling mod starting with the last you installed. In clumps maybe 5 at a time until the game runs. Then ya can narrow it down to which is the problem. Your using some sort of manager right? And SKSE is installed? -
Have you tried this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1918 and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465?tab=posts Will need more info beyond that.

I don't know how helpful papyrus really is for crashes. Start with the basics. Watch this video. At about 2:00 he shows how to use TES5Edit to check for errors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPwiY7NBVTM&index=2&list=PLAxUevXR_SD2ICe3ioc0zeIQJvrBklzUu&t=168s Do you use LOOT or something like it for load order? What mods are you using/load order? PC specs? -
Yeah I see sometimes when I start A game steam says that my game files are different from the ones backed up in the cloud, then asks which I want to keep. So sure if ya uploaded like the ones from one then downloaded to the other then could certainly mess things up. Open Steam on both machines: 1) In your Steam Library, right-click on Skyrim and select "Properties." 2) Click the "Updates" tab. 3) Uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Skyrim." 4) Click "Close."

2 things come to mind. Fist install this and start skyrim thru it. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/6491 You can watch your videocard memory, cpu and main memory etc. Anytime my GPU memory gets anywhere near 3600 I know I'm gonna crash soon. Second, go to your skyrim/data folder and have a look to see what folders are in there. If you have folders with mod names that just contain a readme files then thats fine. If ya see some with esp's, textures and meshes etc then you may have installed that mod incorrectly. What mod manager are you using if any? Thats a lot of mods for a laptop.

Your welcome, enjoy!

Did you install it correctly? Its a complicated mod to install. Make sure you read thru the instructions on the mod page. Take a read thru the FAQ here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/articles/51867 I think a couple of them pertain to you like: Q: Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim There is a minor conflict with Wildcat where it will make global setting changes like remove screen blood fade, make screen blood last longer, and decrease weapon blood fade. If you want those back you will need to load EBT after Wildcat. Q: What if I only have one of the DLCs Do not install any of the DLC patches if you only have one. Q: Blood for custom weapons or armor doesn't appear correctly How blood will appear on weapons and armor is determined by the model itself. It's up to the author of the mod to make sure that blood decals display correctly for their weapons and armor. There is a blood layer that needs to be edited per weapon. The decals will appear to be floating if this layer isn’t done correctly. An example for armors is the bandit armor from Immersive Armors. It uses the same base mesh as the default vanilla armor which will make blood appear like its floating. Q: Solid Squares for blood -Avoid merging the plugin files or adding it to the bash patch -Disable ENB's SSAO feature -Textures are not installed correctly

Have a look at this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/6043968-skyrim-ctdcrashes-when-using-enbd3d9dll/ Read the whole thing before doing anything. Sounds like you need to update your DirectX

You are lookin in C\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\skyrim/ Saves right? There should be an ESS and an SKSE file for each save. Have you checked the files dates modified? And when you look at the save in game to load it, does the picture match where it loads you?

Well I would start watching this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPwiY7NBVTM&t=168s At around the 2 minute mark he shows how to use TES5Edit to check for problems. He also has videos on how to clean mods and mater files. I would start there.

Skyrim really isn't world renowned for its LOD. Ever try Dyndolod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59721 Theres some good tutorials on youtube about using it. If it really bothers ya.
