You mentioned the DLL Plugin loader. You are referring to the replacement of binkw64.dll, correct? When you say you "tried to fix it" did you delete the new one and rename the old file back to its' original name? I couldn't load the game when I downloaded the bink file. I only did so because LOOT was giving advice and said I should get it, which turned out to be incorrect. I don't know how that will work if you downpatched (sounds like you did, can you confirm?) - I am not using that, so perhaps what I did will not work for you. I basically deleted both bink files, revalidated my game files, and then reinstalled it that way. And this was like a week before the AE version came out. And at first I did downpatch it with no success, then deleted the downpatched exe file and revalidated again to try using the Skyrim Lite Loader, also with no success... Ah ok. Wish I could help you more. I would at least go check and see if the validation replaced the file. Other than that, hopefully someone else here can give some tips because I'd probably be completely uninstalling, running ccleaner, making sure there were zero mods and reinstalling the game cleanly but I also have no issues wiping save files out or starting over usually since it just means more playtime. Sorry I wasn't of assistance, best of luck! Nah man you good, thanks for responding tho

I've pretty much given up at this point so I'm just coming here to see if anyone can help me out. After starting a new game with new mods, I went and did everything as usual until I went to add perks for Legacy of the Dragonborn. I have Custom Skills Framework as well as something that adds a new menu for the archeology perks. I tried to open the menu like I've done countless times only for nothing to happen. I thought that something was messed up with the mod itself until I went deeper into this. I tried reinstalling the required mods/files to get things working properly and now my game just won't start period. No main menu, no pop ups, nothing. As as I try to launch it, nothing happens. I figured it was an issue with the DLL plugin loader. But no matter how many times I tried to fix it, nothing worked... Flash forward to the anniversary update. New things for mods to be updated because Bethesda always breaks things when it comes to modding. And I've gotten a patch so that I can have the old executables as well as the new content, but the issue is constantly persisting. I just want to play Skyrim but I can't be bothered to do this consent maintenance. If anyone can help me and give me some suggestions as to how to fix this, please let me know. I had everything working fine and running smoothly at the beginning, but I soon realized that the mod Frostborn Reborn had a lot of issues like conjoined meshes and missing textures. Mainly because I was stupid and didn't read the mod description which specifically stated that you shouldn't use it with the Unofficial Patch. So I decided to remove it from OBMM and re-invalidate archives and rebuilding the bash patch. I started the game and loaded in my save and it always crashed after about a minute or so. I tried to delete all the saves to start fresh and it didn't solve the problem. At this point I really just want to play the game without anymore troubleshooting so if anyone has any recommendations or solutions, please let me know. FYI, I validated my game files to get the DLC back.

I'm trying to get oblivion up and running again with all the mods that I have and everything, but I'm having a hard time with Oblivion Mod Manager. I'm trying to install Mart's Monster Mod with all the files that I would need to convert everything to obmm. I've got the omod converter, the esp and esm files, and the bsa file at the ready. I drag everything in the correct order, but the bsa wouldn't be added. I thought that I could see a walkthrough to see if I did something wrong. I watch the tutorial and see that I have to extract the archive to a folder to rename the bsa file to MMM and recompress it. I do that the exact same way that the tutorial did it, I add the archive to the omod and it gave me an error message saying "This file is password protected. Or it was an invalid archive file." I think that it wants it to be a .7z file and not a .rar file. So I rename it to let it through and it gives me another error saying "Unable to extract anything from this archive." So right now I'm stuck trying to get this working because I'd rather not add everything manually because it would take like 10 years to get everything settled and working. If anyone has any answers, please let me know.
