    Had the same problem just now after ripping out Immersive Horses. I couldn't click on a horse to ride it after buying it. So I used the console command to kill it. Then did other things in the game until a new horse was spawned and was available for sale. I bought the next horse and was able to click on it to ride it.

    I would have never thought to look at To Your Face. I just installed it and about 30 other mods last night. I've used To Your Face in Skyrim LE without issues ever. I hope you have just saved my game by removing it from SE. ADDED: By the Eight! Kicking this mod out now!

    For me it happens whenever I have an armor/clothing mod installed that a spawned NPC will wear that I don't have a proper skeleton installed for.

    When Havok can't settle down for an actor, I use SaveTool.exe to remove active Havoking from the saved game file.

    My tail folder had all kinds of junk in it. So I deleted it. Beast NPC tails were working once again after do that. But it bugged me that I deleted what seemed like needed files. So I removed FNIS Creatures using FNIS Tools. And removed the FNIS Creatures mod from NMM. And re-ran FNIS to do its thing. Then I re-installed FNIS Creatures and re-ran FNIS again. I had a new Tail folder with the right files in it, and tails were still working in my Skyrim.

    There are videos on YouTube showing how to use SKSE to increase RAM for SKYRIM's worldspace.

    Also tell Skyrim to use more than the default RAM it does.

    Think about what Skyrim is trying to do when you open the magic menu. What needs displaying there? Spells? Affects? Powers? Which ones have you changed recently through modding? Go back to an old save before the crashing was happening and see if it still crashes.

    Logs don't say what caused Skyrim to crash.

    My Serana is currently acting the same way. I guess I need to start a new game.

    My Skyrim has 400+ mods with no problems. 5-year-old computer.
