  1. Finally, that's what I was asking  . Ok, so I'm not an expert, but I believe there are some mods you shouldn't clean, some that don't matter, and some that you should clean (personally, to find out, first I check the mod description, looking for words like 'clean, tes5edit, dirty edits, ITM edits', then the comments section, then as a last resource just Google) Actually my last mod build got screwed up exactly because I began cleaning everything without checking... a while later I found out on a mod description page that the mod I had MUST NOT be cleaned, because the dirty edits were intentional. As a matter of fact I believe it even said cleaning it could be the cause of CTDs. So, my advice is don't always listen to LOOT... yeah it can be useful but although it fancies itself a "Big brother" for all mods, it sometimes is just dead wrong, for example: http://s13.postimg.org/wne1p368n/image.png This is what my LOOT tells me to do... BUT, if I deleted that .esp (even though I have USP installed) Belethor would stop selling me stuff right away. I know from playing experience that this fix works for me, and that beats any warning I could get. Also this isn't my only example, I have at least 2-3 similar cases in my current mod build. Hope that helps
  2. Protip: you can upload and resize images in postimage.org > select size > upload > click on image > right click on image > select 'view image' > copy URL > click Image at posting options > paste URL > voila
  3. Yeah, but did you clean them? Or they all came like that?
  4. I did install that file, the first image shows what it looks like with it. (1st image from my last post)
  5. Quick note here - you say you have 0 dirty plugins... I think that's weird, usually when there's more than 50 mods installed there's at least one that is dirty but SHOULDN'T be cleaned. Maybe you cleaned all your mods without checking?
  6. The area with the missing objects is loaded cells and is not LOD. To verify, open console, type tll It is one of those annoying tricks that is done by the vanilla game for performance. Check DynDOLODs options\whiterunexterior folder which adds the missing buildings. Hey there, sorry for the late answer, but I finally decided to install your awesome DynDOLOD (thank you again for this mod) and the Battle-born farm's still the same, other buildings were fixed tho, but not this one. http://s22.postimg.org/bly6ihf0x/2015_09_23_00009.jpg edit: Just for comparison - here's the view with Open Cities Skyrim installed... there's gotta be a way to enable this loading distance without it. http://s3.postimg.org/6hpzf6ks3/2015_09_23_00011.jpg
  7. Thing is, I had it installed on my last game and it was the same. You can actually check my recent thread and see the picture of the same area. I'm quite sure DynDOLOD changes the amount and quality of far-away objects, so this is a different case. I'll install it anyways.
  8. Upgraded a week ago, awesome experience so far, looks amazing, runs even faster than before, alls programs seem to work the same way and some even displayed some extra features after the upgrade. I was just getting used to Win 8 so it was really insecure about doing it (postponed like 8 times) but now I hope I don't have to go back, I even deleted the Windows.old folder  . So I'd recommend you and Squashy and whoever else to update ASAP. The new NMM is a different story tho...
  9. Hello guys, quick question, is it possible a line in skyrim.ini or skyrimprefs.ini controls the loading distance for LODs or whatever is causing the weird issue you see in the screenshot? (the Battle-born farm looks like s* and so does the terrain) Yesterday I actually managed to make it look perfect with Open Cities Skyrim, but unfortunately it's incompatible with many of my mods so it's not an option. http://s21.postimg.org/vv2ty7bev/2015_09_19_00001.jpg Thanks in advance
  10. Sorry for bringing this topic back up but I've found the root of this ailment and, actually, some others (excessive FPS drop in some interior locations without logical explanation, bugged NPCs, and others)... uGridsToLoad. I had it set to 7 since I discovered it, and setting back to 5 fixed this issue right away. Also, I added some lines from here it may have helped as well. So, bye-bye uGridsToLoad, you were sweet and sour, but perhaps too sour for my liking.
  11. Yes, everything enabled and installed with these instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-y631y2nH8E Also, yes, was in interiors when updating, followed all steps The first time I installed DynDOLOD (some weeks ago) everything showed correctly, I'm not sure why this is happening now. Currently I'm trying some .ini tweaks and perhaps adding on other LOD mods to make the waterfall appear again. Edit: Ok, so I installed The Skyrim Distance Overhaul LOD Improvement on top of DynDOLOD and everything else but without letting it overwrite anything, just in case, and this showed up: http://s10.postimg.org/tsc0wxq2x/2015_09_12_00008.jpg Interestingly enough, a waterfall showed up, so I'm now wondering if the problem is a terrain change in the area... or maybe Immersive Fallen Trees adds a tree there so it's conflicting? Man, I'm running out of ideas. I already installed DynDOLOD over 5 times, every time takes half an hour :S
  12. Hi guys, it's possible I'm having issues with DynDOLOD, I also installed SkyFalls + SkyMills, and SMIM,in what I think is the right order, (also Pure Waters) but haven't found a way to make the waterfalls show again (reinstalled everything, changed loadorder, etc). Also any details from the Battle-born farm don't show, not sure if this is possible to fix because of Skyrim's limitations but the water and waterfalls missing is certainly something very wrong. Any ideas? Any help appreciated. PS. I checked the readmes and FAQs but I didn't see any solution or related. http://s22.postimg.org/eywygc69d/2015_09_12_00006.jpg http://s9.postimg.org/gycbpxz4f/2015_09_12_00007.jpg
  13. If I'm not mistaken for Whiterun I only had High res patch + Skyrim 2k textures and ETaC... that's it. But I'm loving these new textures, they're so much better for Whiterun than what I've seen before (wood looks like it's been chopped from the area, there are realistic scratches on some doors, and I can see the sky from inside! (+Immersive Interiors)) After solving the issue I remembered I used Optimizer Textures. Maybe the texture lost its transparency after optimizing. Anyway thanks for your help, I'll write that down.
  14. But shouldn't the sky be visible even in vanilla Skyrim? I'm almost sure I could see the sky through before installing any significant mods. Edit: Ok, even though I still think it worked before, installing aMidianBorn Whiterun did fix the issue, thank you. It did ask to overwrite a LOT of stuff, most of which I didn't do, but still now it looks awesome... http://s29.postimg.org/hhxofq8pz/2015_09_11_00004.jpg
  15. Mm... mind explaining a bit further? I don't understand how that resource could help... I wish to see the sky through the wood. not modify light sources.
