  1. Would anybody with a full copy of the mod (skyrim version not special edition) be willing to send it to over to me? I used to have a copy but since I last played Skyrim, I've changed computers several times, and seem to have mislaid my old skyrim mod folders. Thanks
  2. Could you be specific about what problems you are encountering. also, could you post up a copy of your latest BOSS log?
  3. you can safely install the high res texture pack DLC, it is just a collection of texture files packaged in 3 bsas, so nothing will be overwritten. Worth picking up the Unofficial High Res Patch, along with the unofficial skyrim patch though.
  4. If you've uninstalled mods (barring simple non-esp texture/mesh replacers) mid-game, then you may see some improvement initially, but there is a good chance that will be somewhat short lived and it will end up getting worse in the long run. Unfortunately Skyrim is just not designed to have mods removed mid-game.
  5. Can't say I've ever noticed this particular problem before. have you tried re-verifying your game install via Steam?
  6. Download and install Wrye Bash, it will flag any mods which have missing or out of order master files (the most common cause of a CTD on startup)
  7. You also have an awful lot of script heavy mods, including several that will trigger during combat, which is system intensive on its own, without additional scripts running (for example crimson tide). It is important to remember that uninstalling mods mid-game can (and probably will) cause instability with your game, so you should probably start a brand new game once you are done uninstalling the mods you've decided to remove.
  8. we really need more information in order to provide more information. For example: have you installed any script heavy mods or high res textures recently. In fact, it would be bestif you could post up a copy of your latest BOSS log, as well as a list of all non-esp mods (such as texture and mesh replacers, animations etc) that you are currently using.
  9. in short, yes, it is possible that your CTDs could be due to your system specs, especially if you are running a number of script intensive mods (such as frostfall, footsteps, RnD etc).
  10. @Kodman1991: crashing the moment you load the game (before reaching the main menu) typically indicates missing or out of order master files. Download and install Wrye Bash. It will flag any mods with missing or out of order master files. The other thing you'll want to do (once you've resolved which mods are missing master files) is run BOSS to better sort your load order. @ RAGEingWalruz: TES5Edit won't sort your load order, that's what BOSS is for.
  11. I assume that none of your mods were flagged by Wrye Bash as having missing or out of order masterfiles?
  12. it would really help if you could give some more information. for example does it crash before the main menu, or when loading a save? If you could post up a copy of your latest BOSS log that would also be handy
  13. Do you have any other mods installed?
  14. Sadly no such list really exists, the closest thing you'll get to that is STEP core, but even then it depends very much on your system specs, and various other factors.
  15. I think the note about the crash fix ESP can be ignored unless you are having issues that can be pinned down to Sounds of Skyrim. Regarding the notes about using only one of the esps, I would check the mod descriptions for Sounds of Skyrim and Climates of Tamriel and see what they suggest. Regarding the deleted navmeshes, that is something you should contact the mod author about Bash Tags are used by Wrye Bash in the construction of a Bashed Patch (and I think BOSS sets them automatically if the mod has suggested tags).
  16. In the notes under certain esps/esms For example
  17. The easiest way to tell is to install Wrye Bash, as it will flag any mods that have missing or out of order master files (and is IMO a superior mod manager to NMM). I'm referring to all of the mods BOSS marks as incompatible, which incudes Climates of Tamriel interiors and RLO, and the various SOS - (...)-PatchCoT(...) esps
  18. As I said, that's why I personally recommend Wrye Bash. Its been around a lot longer, and has a lot more useful functions (such as the ability to flag missing or out of order master files, a full breakdown of what files you are installing with each mod, and whether they conflict with any installed by any other mod you currently have (as long as they are not packaged in a BSA)
  19. You appear to be missing ClimatesofTamriel-Sound.esp, which is a required master for SOS - The Wilds-PatchCoTSounds.esp. BOSS also notes a number of incompatible mods, or mods that you should have only one version of active, so you probably want to look at that as well.
  20. Save game corruption (which can manifest in various ways including random CTDs) in skyrim typically comes from uninstalling mods (especially script heavy mods) mid game. Due to the way Skyrim was coded, it simply can't completely clean up remnants of previously installed mods (and when these remnants are random scripts or modifications to scripts, it can cause an awful lot of issues). The advice from various people (including some of the Bethesda devs) is to ensure you make a backup before installing each mod, and if you don't like that mod to revert to the backup rather than just uninstalling a mod and carrying on.
  21. To be honest, my suggestion would be to not install manually. Go download a mod manager (such as NMM or, my preferred option Wrye Bash), and install all your mods through that manager. Believe me, it will save you a lot of headaches in future.
  22. Usually this kind of ctd is related to missing a required master file or having too many mods active (more than the 255 limit the engine can process). My suggestion would be to careful check if any of your mods are missing required master files. Based on the prevalence of BASH tags in your BOSS log, I would guess that Wrye Bash works with FNV, so go download and run Wrye Bash, and it should flag any mods with missing or out of order masters. While you are at it, you have several mods that are marked as incompatible with each other (including, by the looks of it, different versions of the same mod). You might want to look into those to ensure stability in your game once you actually get it working.
  23. To be honest, the most useful thing to see would be a BOSS log (if you don't currently have BOSS, go download and run it. it will sort your mods into the correct order and provide you with a log file containing a variety of useful information for those of use trying to help you). A papyrus log is not strictly a crash log, rather a log of what the scripting engine is doing, so while it can sometime point towards possible issues, a BOSS log can often tell us much more
