I mean i dont think modders really understand how the game truly works, imo. Most recent mods are just copies of other mods under different names and colours etc but then again the game just came out so its normal that people havent made tutorials on how to mod the game, they are probably experimenting, although i agree that knowledge hoarding is bs and toxic when it does happen. I would suggest patience man, im sure that when people figure out more about it theres gona be guides and stuff, not everyone is a douche.

I see a lot of weapons retextures on nexus right now and thats amazing but it would also be cool if those were added skins that we can equip at the workbench so many can be installed for 1 weapons at once for instance. It would also be cool to see some new standalone weapons, armour etc. I dont know anything about modding so maybe that kinda stuff will need mod support release first.
