real first person wip uninstallion problems
vasthrana replied to kkingrulz's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Delete your skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini files, rerun the launcher, set your options, quit the launcher and launch the game again via skse or the game exe (whatever you use) -

Skyrim instantly crashes on save - please help!!
vasthrana replied to habaar's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I had a weird problem sort of related to this... I used some optimizers on some armor packs and apparently the game didn't like it that much, everytime I saw an NPC or myself trying to wear this armor, the game would display the npc naked and eitehr freeze/crash or take a massive fps hit. When I try to save after seeing this npc naked, the game would completely lock up. Removing this armor pack or reverting back to the unoptimized bsa fixed this problem for me. -
To be honest, I won't even bother with the DLC/further patches than 1.6... Currently I have the game modded with close to 300 mods and it is running without a hinch, I KNOW that won't be the case with dawnguard, let alone the newly announced dlc. I have more than enough extra content and before they won't let me have sex with a dragon or something completely brainblasting, I doubt I will ever update. From what I have been gathering on the new patch and dawnguard is that it seems like another rushed add-on by bethesda's "awesome" (sarcasm) coders. The modders are doing a far better job adding content than bethesda will ever do. The best advice I can give anyone right now is to stay with 1.6 untill the mods/unofficial bugfix patches etc catch up to failguard and the new patch, and follow the same route on the newly announced dlc. OR get a mod that implements similar content to the dlc (would probably be less buggy anyway)

My bad xD Still, using more than 4gb of memory would seem rather difficult to achieve with this game, highest I've got was 3.2gb and thats with 13gb of texture add-ons D:

Please someone help me with skyrim files

Try using a different browser like Firefox/Chrome to check if the problem persists -
Try this: Download GPU-Z, run it, check the sensors tab, scroll down to vram, run the game for a bit, quit the game, check what was the max value it reached or if it peaked consistently. If it did... I would recommend you optimize your textures as you probably are running out of vram. With 1gb.... I would recommend you use 1024 textures max for optimal performance if you have installed all the landscape/town/clothing high res packs. MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SKYRIM FIRST. You can run the following program with these settings: Optimizer Textures by AdPipino http://i45.tinypic.com/23sumn7.jpg In the BSA section of the program you can select BSA files to try and optimize as well, this isnt necessarily the best idea and might give you problems, but you CAN do this as well if you have large mods installed that also come with high res textures (for example I have a 1.4gb armor pack which I optimized, but the 200mb armor pack I optimized had my game crash, so I had to manually restore the backed up bsa file)

College of winterhold - First Lessons bug
vasthrana replied to Jacky1565's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
List your mods, maybe there's an obvious conflict we can point out... MOAR info! :D -
It's allready a LAA aware exe. It CAN use more than 4gb... To use more you would either increase your ugridstoload values (which normally introduce instability) or increase your interior/exterior cells to load. The memory tweaks I am currently running to provide it as much ram it needs are: [skyrim.ini] Under the [General] section fMasterFilePreLoadMB=512.0000 iPreloadSizeLimit=536870912 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=4000000000 My loading times are a little longer than usual but it's much more stable now.

Random crashes possible mod conflict ?
vasthrana replied to DiaBLoW666's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
So you have WIS disabled/removed now... Try waiting 30 days inside that dungeon. Your Unofficial skyrim patch is out of date as well, its up to 1.1 now, try updating that... The 2 add-on quests u have installed... are you sure they are compatible with each other? -
Does your Skyrim slowly get choppier over time?
vasthrana replied to JayNic's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hehe, I read everything regarding stutters/freezing in the technical section! I had this thread open and thought I might as well reply on it, maybe it proves helpful to these users as well -
Ok, I can't seem to get the game to freeze before I get interrupted/bored xD Seems like my freezing has come to an end, hopefully! :D Thanks to everyone who replied/gave me tips to try and all the support!

vasthrana replied to JayNic's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I've had a similar problem, this is the thread I created for it and how I think I solved it (haven't had a freeze or stutter again in the last 2 days) -
This might be a silly question but have you enabled them in NMM? Edit: Also, these mods won't apply to npc's till you get npc specific mods for that. Get the showracemenu mod (gives u spell to get back to the character customization screen) and recreate your character, that race should show up and the hair should be at the rear of the hair slider.

Skyrim crash, need help interpreting log

Which mods are you using? -
Could give us more info regarding which mods you are using if any? Does it appear according to a pattern (after time limit, certain area, certain perk, certain spell used, etc?)
-
Ok... I think it might be stable now... Actually played till I couldn't stay awake anymore... What I did, I've modified my Skyrim.ini with these values: fMasterFilePreLoadMB=512.0000 iPreloadSizeLimit=536870912 iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=4000000000 bPreemptivelyUnloadCells=1 And in about 6 hours I used the pcb console command twice, just before exiting long dungeons (doing some smaller ones inbetween). I won't count my chickens just yet, will try get a stable 10 hour session out of it, that's stable enough for me :D

Game spazzing out when im in Cities/Buildings
vasthrana replied to blazer3136's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Do you have mods installed that modify the cities or landscape around it? Try removing them or creating a new char, see if the problem persists. If your new character is fine then it's most likely your savegame containing old scripts / mod remains causing this. -
Right, so I had to take care of a few real life things so I thought I might as well let it idle in Whiterun while having the escape menu up. When I returned the lag was completely gone and I was back at my prior 50-60fps again. The lighting behaved weird though so I entered my home (most lighting issues normally disappear when entering/exiting an area, i get this VERY rarely though) and it got stuck on the loading screen, looping text, was forced to alt/ctrl/del close it. Mmmm I'm still using Skyrim monsters v8. I'll disable it though, see how it goes. Indexing is turned off since my new Windows install in January and I have no auto-defragging programs. I haven't heard of the pcb command though, will give that a go once I get the slowdown again. What does it do? Clear the preloaded cells next to the current grid? (probably talking over my own head now, not 100% sure how this game loads its areas) EDIT: Going to try this... 1) Try playing till I get slowdown and use the pcb command, see if that does anything. If it does indeed work what will this prove though? 2) If that doesn't work I'll uninstall Skyrim Monsters and see how that treats me. Will report back!
-
Update: Just got the slowdown again, will bear through it till it either CTD's (which I doubt) or freezes (most likely) and post the papyrus log again. Maybe someone can figure something out from it...

Ok, went through my esm and esp files, mightve had a conflict with XFL/BDO and better followers. Sorted that now and also re-organised my Data folder in Skyrim. a lot of optional extras and crap remaining from mods. Removed/sorted that. BACK TO TESTING! Current load order:

What keyboard are you using? If using more than 1 for testing, please name both models. Also specify its connector, PS/2 or USB?
