  1. ROTFL. I thought SteveBob's request seemed a bit odd. I must have been half asleep when I read that post, I even wrote "house" in one of my replies. :facepalm: :whistling: SteveBob, I would think that the spell should work, provided you configure the Magic Effect for "fire-and-forget" delivery, with effect archetype "script". Your Spell will also have to be "fire and forget", so you might need to remove any magic effect that is already attached to it, then choose "fire and forget" in the Spell form, then add your new "fire and forget" Magic Effect from the drop list. Then in the Horse's Actor form "Attack Data" tab you should be able to pick the spell from the drop-list under "Attack Spell" to add it to each of the horse's attacks. Yeah I did do all of that and I can see it firing the projectile at the enemy and the spell working. I didn't set the archetype to script though so maybe that's the issue. Will have another play later and see, thanks :) Awesome, works now! kicking myself for not setting it as a script archetype lol. Thanks again for the help! :D

  3. Correct, I want my horse to kill whatever it attacks. It is the same magic effect/script that has worked for my weapon enchants so I hoped it would work for the spell used by my horse as well :confused:

  5. Is it difficult to do this for one specific weapon? I recently downloaded the DMC 4 Weapons and love the Sparda sword but it just looks wrong when you get blood all over it. How can I go about fixing this?
  6. Thanks, will check it out but I'm pretty certain the spell was working fine. It was paralyzing the enemies for sure. Edit: Nope still doesn't work :( Maybe it only works for the player character and I need to do something else for my mount? :-/
  7. Hey, I've tried installing the Cute Girls replacer by Laurkami and my game just quits from the start menu. I've seen other people have had the issue but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help is very much appreciated.
  8. I'm having problems with some of the water in Skyrim flickering. The game plays fine but it's pretty annoying. Doesn't seem to be the frame-rate as I've tried playing with v-sync and even downloaded an FPS limiter and neither help. I've tried reinstalling WATER and some other mods. Maybe I'll just have to try and work out if it's another mod causing the issue but I don't see how it can be since I didn't have this problem before and I haven't gotten any new mods that I haven't already tried turning off. This only happens when I move btw. If my character is standing still the water looks fine but when I move it flickers until I'm still again. Also, it doesn't happen in some places which is odd :-/ Anyone know what the issue could be?
  9. So I have a script set up for an instant-kill spell that works for me but I wanted to apply it to my horse when it attacks something. I hoped that just putting the same script on a magic effect and then putting that on the spell that my horse uses when it attacks would be enough but the script is not executing. I know the spell is working for definite though. Script is: Scriptname HorseInstantKill extends ActiveMagicEffect Event onEffectStart(Actor akTarget, Actor akCaster) akTarget.Kill() EndEvent How can I get this to work for my horse? Any help is very much appreciated.

  12. I've looked at a lot of tutorials but don't have much experience with Papyrus. What do I need to put in my script to cause a weapon to instantly kill whoever/whatever it hits? Kinda like Mehrune's Razor but 100% of the time...
  13. So I've added an enchantment to an item (EnchWaterbreathingConstantSelf with a magnitude of 1.00 and EnchFortifyShoutTimerConstantSelf also with a magnitude of 1.00). They're on a piece of armour but don't seem to work, any ideas why? :-/ Edit: Turns out I was just being an idiot and needed to re-equip the item, sorry. Not sure how to close this topic so I'll just let it die.
  14. That's the cap for damage you can enter via the Creation Kit so does that mean it's the maximum you can do per hit or does it work some other way? Just interested in understanding how the games handles high amounts of damage.
  15. Hi, I'm very new to using the Creation Kit and I was wondering if anybody could help me... I want to create an enchantment for a weapon that gives you a ward when blocking. I've got the awesome Tamrielic Lore: Chrysamere mod but I wanted to put the ward effect on other weapons and I'm not sure how to do it. I tried using the enchant from that mod but obviously when I load up my own mod the "tbmChrysamereEnch" enchantment is no longer in the list so it can't find it for my new weapon. Is there some way to import that enchantment into my own mod or some other easier way or doing it? I'd also like to be able to do this for other enchantments like Power of the Gods. Any help is greatly appreciated.
