  1. I am playing with FOOK2 and Ultimate Perk Pack. I am level 15 and have been around a lot. I almost finished Those!, picked Ant Sight, got a level, and picked the Cyborg perk. I fast traveled to Megaton before finishing Those! Turned in scrap metals, went inside Moira's shop, did some shopping. Then left, and went to my house, then I "discovered" my house after being there numerous times.

     

    I opened the map, and bam, all my discovered locations are missing. I did NOT pick the Amnesia perk, and checked my perks to make sure it wasn't there. I have no idea how this happened. I tried exiting the game and reloading saves, they are still gone. I overwrote saves and have no backup. What baffles me the most is, I fast traveled to Megaton, and before I fast traveled I had all the locations. So whatever happened, happened AFTER Cyborg was picked, and after I fast traveled back to Megaton. Even though I did nothing but turn in scrap metals and go to Moira's. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

  2. Been searching everywhere, and have found nothing. I know the Reservists Rifle ID was changed to the Drifter's Laser Rifle, but is there any way to obtain a Reservists Rifle in FWE? I saw a youtube video made in 2013 of someone with FWE who went into Zane's House in the Minefield and there was one laying in a bookshelf upstairs, but I was unable to locate it there.

     

    I really want that rifle bad. I picked up the Tactical Sniper Rifle, but I am unsure if this is a reworked version of it since it is a 5 shot clip vs the Reservists 3 shot. I dislike the Victory Rifle and have been using the Perforator.

  3. I haven't come across the Infiltrator Sniper rifle just yet. I imagine it would be very useful, though. I can't seem to put a silencer onto most sniper rifles I come across. Can't put a silencer on my laser/plasma weapons either.

     

    You can put a silencer on the Infiltrator Sniper Rifle. Real good damage too. And it uses 5.66 ammo which is pretty abundant.

  4. I love my Drifter's Laser Rifle. I use that quite a bit. Beyond that, I tend to use the Glock Plasma Pistol, but I imagine there are better plasma pistols. There is a sniper rifle that uses 5.56 ammo, and that is quite useful as you can get that ammunition cheaply. Hard to say "best" weapon, as the whole point of FWE and other mods was to try to make every weapon useful in some capacity.

    I LOVE that weapon.

  5. By best, I mean categorized, best small guns sniper rifle? Best shotgun? Best pistol? Laser rifle? etc.

     

    I am currently using the H&K CAWS automatic shotgun, I haven't really found anything comparable, good clip size, good damage.

     

    Infiltrator Sniper Rifle automatic, same deal, good clip size (24) and good damage/range.

     

    Are those 2 the best in FWE etc?

     

    I got my settings set, so by the time I hit level 30, I will be able to max everything, so I was just wondering what your opinions are for your favorite weapons, I haven't really messed with anything other than Small Guns.

     

    Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks.

    Is that merged patch a new one? You have to create a new merged patch everytime you add another mod.

     

    Did you download the FWE/AA compatibility patch? http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17396

     

    If you already done both of those, I am not sure...

  7. For the life of me, I have looked through every texture file of every mod I have installed and cannot find where these come from:

     

    Beretta 470 Shotgun

    Ithaca Model 37 Pump-Shotgun

    Sten M3 SMG

    Scorpio Machinepistol

    M3a1 *Grease Gun*

     

    There's others also that aren't showing textures in the pip boy, but not many.

     

    The closest I have seen is some "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." mod that I do not remember installing, nor does it show in my load order.

     

    My game runs fine, I am running MMM, FWE, WMK, Zeta/Crew, all DLCs, CALIBR, CRAFT, Darnified UI.

     

    No red exclimation points, all the graphics show, just no texture in pip boy.

     

    Any help would be much appreciate, thanks a lot.

  8. Sooo ridiculous how scarce caps are in this game. There are so many quests (Moira's quests or Blood Ties) that give unwanted s***! And some of them don't even sell for a good price! Is there some tips or pointers you guys can give me? Or a mod? I'm on the verge of cheating, and I really don't want to do that, not on this playthrough.

     

    Don't cheat, it removes a lot of the games funness, difficulty of finding caps and stuff to sell is a huge part of the game.

     

    Here's what I do:

     

    The world is huge, and there's many, as a matter of fact, at least 50 different locations not even related to the main quest line, that are there simply for exploration and looting stuff to sell and use. Just go out exploring, go in random buildings/sewers. On the way while traveling you will run into stuff to kill and loot for money, as well as inside.

     

    You can make a good haul, just make sure you have good STR to carry a lot (I reccomend starting the game with 8 STR, regardless of build, since you can get the bobblehead and Ant Might to cap it), since every point of STR is = to 25 more weight you can carry.

     

    Start off near Megaton and go through the school northwest of it. Work your way east, do the Survival Guide quests. Max out sneak asap, don't be afraid to steal stuff from houses or shops, save before an attempt on pickpocketting someone, reload of it fails. You need extremely high sneak and Silent Running to pull off some good grabs off civilians in towns.

     

    Don't be afraid to pick the lock in Rivet City marketplace at night past midnight and go inside and loot, try not to get caught though. Most of my money came from looting armor/weapons and selling the useless ammunition like the 5mm rounds and the .38. Also a lot came from selling nuka colas, and food I find, disarming mines near the beginning of the game can net you a real good chunck of cash on the bridge east of Megaton, and in the minefield quest area northeast of Megaton.

     

    If you find yourself at a shop with a full inventory and the shop owner has no caps, just exit the town, and hit T, and wait for 3 days and a couple hours, and save, then go back in, they will be restocked.
