  1. Haha man I'm so confused, I've now replace all of the base game files and the Automatron files with my backups. My backups are completely unmodified and I made them before Bethesda's latest patch. I shouldn't be having any issues.
  2. No I'm not, and even removing my texture and meshes folders I'm still getting the same error. At this point I'm pretty sure my fallout4-startup BSA is corrupted. Normally this would be a quick fix and I would just delete then validate my game files through steam. But I can't because it will push that new Bethesda update through. Does anyone know a way I can download just the fallout4-startup BSA?

  5. I started getting a full crash to desktop error or whatever you want to call it, I've disabled every mod except the one's I need to start the game. I've spent about 6-7 hour's working on the problem but I've run out of both idea's and time. I'm really hoping someone here as some idea as to what I've broken and how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help. From what I've been able to gather this files (loose file?) is the problem (Textures\Blood\FXBloodFlare.dds). I have been unable to locate these files so I'm not sure if they are missing and have dependencies or are just corrupt and I can't locate them.   8. Like the title say's I want to make some toilet's for my player home mod and was wondering if anyone on here might know a few objects I could stick together to make a decent looking toilet. Thanks in advance :)
  9. LOL the Skyrim CK 2.0 LOD generation tool is a frusterating joke. It's even worse in the new version of the CK. Luckily theirs a few new tools that came out to help out with LOD generation in Skyrim SE. I was just hoping someone could point me in the direction of a tool I could use to generate distant land LOD. Oh and no I haven't tried dyndolod I'll have to check it out and see if it can help me.   10. I'm wondering if with the new tools "xLODGen" it might just be easier to create a custom world space. But I've gone down that path many times and it's never worked out for me lol. Anyway using xLODGen I managed to update the LOD in the tamrial world space but I still haven't been able to get the distant land LOD to work. So if anyone knows anyway to update the land LOD I would appreciate the help thanks.
  11. Hi all long time no see. Anyway I'm trying to create an island north of Dawnstar and in order to make the island large enough I had to remove a bunch of large ice objects in the area. Problem is I cant seem to generate new LOD for the island or get rid of the old LOD. I've tried using the LOD tools within CK 2.0 but as usual that's failed to work for me. I have a job that keeps me extremely busy so I don't have the time to try and figure this out on my own so any help would be greatly appreciated.
  12. It has something to do with the number of static objects in the distance. Not sure how to fix that, I've played with increasing the number of objects that render at a distance in the .ini but that hasn't worked.

I don't think this has anything to do with cracks in the interior space, and yes as someone building a large interior space I know what it looks like when you look into the void, normally to get this level of distortion you need to be looking looking right into the void a small crack in the distance would not cause this. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/915785662795140477/44D672BC6D6BE5A32E95D0A9A17B5E594F898C9F/ I'm working on a custom lighting template to see if I can solve this problem, hopefully that will work but honestly I doubt it.
  14. I'm working on a large interior space mod for my personal use and I'm getting this unusual visual mirage effect. I've found a few other people with similar issues but no way to fix this problem, I have noticed that I only get the bug when I look to the west.   15. Solved the problem was......sticky keys. I needed to clean my mechanical keyboard. Took a gamble on that one, took 2 hours to clean. Let that be a lesson to you kids!
  16. Can someone explain to me how I can start create a fresh cell and still get this issue with less then a dozen assets in and still have this happen?
  17. Not the solution I was looking for but by phasing the objects out in your render window and then ticking "Visible only" in your cell view reduces the problem. Still if anyone knows away to restrict the reference window I would love to know.
  18. I'll try phasing assets I'm not using to see if that reduces the lag in the cell. If not I'm not going to be able to finish this mod. The input lag is getting so bad it some time takes me 10+ attempts to highlight a dozen objects in the render window.
  19. When I click on an objects in the render window the reference window pops up. This use to happen rarely now it's about 20% of the time I highlight an object. As you can imagine this makes working in the CK very frustrating and the most frustrating part is I have no idea how to prevent it, it might have something to do with input lag? Does anyone know how to restrict the reference window so this stops happening?
  20. Good to know, I'll start looking for other methods to generate LOD. I might be able to use the original CK to generate it the LOD. Once I figure this out I'll post it here for anyone else who might run into this problem, thanks for the help.

  22. I hate to necro this threat but nearly a week later and I'm still unable to generate Distant water LOD. To recap I can generate the LOD for the world space it's self no problem. But it's the LOD out side of my world space that just does not generate. So picture a -32 -32 by 28 28 square..ish world space. All of the LOD inside of those dimensions work, but past that there's nothing it just cuts off. I've been unable to find anyone with this problem other then my self, I tired disabling all of my mods to see if this was mod related but it does not appear to be related to any mods I'm running.   23. I went into the cell editor and "Has water" is checked but at the same time it's greyed out. As for not have the right LOD properties I'm not really sure what you mean, I've played with all of the LOD setting's I could find in the world space editor and world LOD editor. That being said I also use oscape to generate terrain/water LOD as I've had no luck using the CK 2.0 to generate LOD.
