I have no mods, playing the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect 2, and I am running into a similar problem. I returned from Wrex's mission so I could gear up for Mordin's, and after upgrading a few items in the lab, I am told by Kelly and Joker that the Illusive Man wants to talk to me. The entrance to the comm room is buggy, but I can get in, finding myself stuck since I can't leave the room due to the same problem as the comm table where it doesn't activate (turn from red to blue so I can begin the conversation or open the door). Essentially, I am stuck in the game. Recommendations?
