I always loved floating UI, where the UI kind of exists in a 3D space rather than being statically stuck to a specific part of the screen. I think it helps the UI feel less busy. Can't believe there's not any mods that add it to new vegas yet. My favourite implementation is probably in System Shock 2, where objects have brackets that follow it when it's in your field of view, and would add a health bar when facing an enemy Cyberpunk 2077 also had subtitles stick to the character who's speaking in certain situations, not sure if that's new but it was pretty cool But yeah anyway it'd be cool if someone made a mod like this, not necessarily like SS2 exactly but something similar would be nice

That's just my mods, I only have 148 plugins. Performance is not an issue I see... well thank you anyway

For the last couple weeks I've been getting this glitch: It happens on any NPC that gets any kind of damage decal on them I know it has something to do with aliasing and the decals being on the edge of NPCs. In YUP, changes are made to headgear so they take up the headgear slots it realistically would (ex. Dr Kleins glasses taking only eyeglasses slot instead of mask) I get the idea but to me this goes beyond bug fix territory, as it's likely that many of the choices regarding what headgear takes what slot was intentional, for balancing purposes, since being able to stack tons of powerful headgear items would be too OP. Mobius/Klein's glasses and Ulysses' mask are good examples of this, since the slots they take up arent exactly realistic, but when you look at their effects you can understand why the devs might not want the player to be able to stack them with many other items

Nevermind, I tweaked some settings in NVTF and it looks like I'm getting 60fps again

The only fps limiter I have is ENB If I turn off vsync and limit my fps, I still get screen tearing. However if it's on I can only get 30fps There are the settings in Fallout.ini "iFPSClamp=0", "iBackgroundLoadExtraMaxFPS=20", and "iBackgroundLoadExtraMinFPS=10". Could changing these help?

I have a 60hz monitor and I've noticed that my fps can't go over 30 when iPresentInterval=1. I can turn it off and it can go well over 100 but there's massive screen tearing which is just unplayable to me. Can someone help?

Enhanced camera is a great mod but there's one thing wrong with it: It uses the third person ranger takedown animation for first person, which doesn't really work since the camera doesn't move with it and it just looks like a bunch of limbs flying everywhere. Perhaps a patch that would either make the camera properly follow the leg sweep animation, or make it use the regular first person palm strike animation?

Well I feel pretty stupid rn It was just RadeonPro doing it, not even quickloading, just pressing F9. The LOD error had nothing to do with it. Just had to uninstall it and it was fixed Thanks for the help anyway, dubious, appreciate it

The NVAC log says I'm getting "20214305 _ DISABLED _LOD_ERR", which I see you helped someone else with. No matter what I do though it won't go away. I've ran FNVLODgen and XLODgen, with trees unticked since apparently the error means an object with the "Has TreeLOD" flag was disabled, and it's still happening. I even did a full reinstall with a clean, unmodded save, and it still happens even though I didn't even have any lod mods.

Whenever I quickload I get constant windows error sounds until the game loads. So far the game itself is working fine besides that but something is clearly wrong. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? It started after I reinstalled ENBoost and changed some values on NVSR I think, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

The one I had had a knife spear that was both superheated and clean

So apparently the clean superheated knife spear that I used to use almost every playthrough of dead money isn't actually real, and must be a mod. I guess with my recent reinstall of new vegas I didn't download that particular mod, so does anyone have any idea what it might be? It would have to be a large mod with tons of changes since I never downloaded anything to specifically add that.

I did resolve the deserters. I'm also using Vicious Wastes which I think messes with the timescale. Is there any way for me to force the casino to open? edit: Nevermind, it's open now lol

Anyone know a fix to the bug of Vicki and Vance never opening? I cleared out the convicts, got a sheriff, and encountered the NCR deserters, and it's been quite a while but it's still not open.

Yeah lore wise they're obviously just mutated humans, I was more talking about if the game considers them human. Mr House isn't "human" so ghouls might not be either

I have quite a few of mods: https://imgur.com/a/iWLTXF1 I'm confused though cause I did a test where I disabled all of them and the performance was the same. I have ENB installed, but I turn it off since I only use it for the fps counter. Leaving it on reduces my fps my about 10 frames. How do I get these performance benefits? I have a i7-6700k cpu @ 4.00GHz, 16gb RAM, and an AMD Radeon R9 390 I turned on high performance mode, is there anything else I can do?

I've got all the performance bug fixes I think, but for some reason I can't get a steady fps. I don't even think it's my mods bringing it down, since when I turn them all off the fps is about the same. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
