  1. I use lastpass to manage my passwords. I have a lifetime Nexus membership and wanted to update my password here as it's been used on other sites. I've tried many times now changing my password and using a completely randomly generated 8 character password using last pass. everytime i try to login with that password after logging out at nexusmods.com it tells me incorrect password. But if i login at forums.nexusmods.com it works then i go back to nexusmods.com and i'm still logged in? I recommend looking into this. Clearly nothing i'm doing wrong, password is right. I can log into forums just fine then go navigate nexus site, but seems i can no longer ever log into main nexus site. I don't use these forums myself, seems very strange. You try to do right thing, update all your passwords etc. and then you deal with massive hassles with sites like these. Then people wonder why we don't update our passwords regularly!!!
  2. There is a lot of things not realistic, i just go with flow and have fun. for example nuka cola aparently made so much cola before the war that even 200+ years later there is still so much to go around and it's still good??? really? soda would last 200+ years and there would still be an abundant amount around to drink 200+ years later? lol. there is plenty not realistic but it's fun in a corny way.
  3. I'm on survivalist and surprised how easy it is. i was expecting enemies to be bullet sponges but honestly still only takes a few bullets to kill all normal ones. named ones take a bit longer. i'm expecting it to get harder as i progress or level up i suppose. I made mistake in first town where you rescue the people under attack, the very first main quest. I didn't understand where the power armor was, i ended up fighting all the bandits including the deathclaw with few weapons and ammo i started within in first 30 minutes of game play and i beat them all, it took me about 5 reloads but i was able to kill them all and deathclaw without any autosaves in middle of battle. On survival, without using power armor. Only thing i can think of is game auto levels like oblivion so everything is super easy in beginning an will scale up hard later, if not then then need a harder mode! I noticed on survival mode food heals me and is super easy to come across, like infinite stimpacks, previous games food didn't heal on hardest mode. So that's an odd change.. Anyway i'll play through this round on survival see if things change later, otherwise i'm still i'll play again once hardcore balance mods come out in future which i'm sure is a long time from now, so i'll enjoy what i got for now  Not really complaining too much i'm just wondering if gets easier or harder more i progress on survival difficulty. First 10 hours so far have been a breeze, i've wiped out many areas full of bandits without much issue, bandits with mini guns and all, using my tactics in used to use in my old counter strike days must give me an advantage though. On other hand i've noticed no bugs at all, not even npcs glitching out standing in odd places or on objects etc, i've had 0 crashes, and my 6 year old pc with only graphics card upgraded to 980gtx but using first gen i7-920 cpu 12gb ram etc. my game auto-detected at ultra high and is runnning smooth, i didn't touch any settings just let it default to 1080p ultra high preset. i"m impressed honestly this is least buggiest bethesda game i've ever played, in past games i would crash at least once a half hour, even skyrim and worst so in fallout 3 games and before and would take a while to figure out how to reduce the crashes enough to make me want to play.
  4. Website loading now but mod downloading is still not working right. I got 2 mods downloaded but now i can't get anymore to start. Nexus mod manager when i paused and started a download again it then listed file as not found on server and new downloads not really starting. I'll try again later :(
  5. Glad to see i'm not the only one, same exact errors right now. Been a while since i played Skyrim and my one stop place to go for skyrim modding is the Nexus! Been trying for hours to get back up and running again with my favorite latest mods and some new ones but not having much luck... i had a small period of about half hour with no issues but then went down again. I'll try again later today or maybe tomorrow. Deffnietly do not want to go anywhere else.. hopefully just a weekend overload issue!
  6. I have been using NMM sometimes but most time downloading manually from the premium Denver server only.. i think i will try one of the other servers, but i guess that means downloading ether from UK premium or public ones but if i don't have to re-download same mod 3-5 times that would be great.
  7. Ok now i'm extremely frustrated. I hope someone can point me in right direction. i tried downloading static mesh improvement mod. It took me 5 tries before i could install it with NMM. each time it would stop in a different spot which just tells me i have major issues downloading files from Nexus servers. Reason i download manually and move it to nexus mod folder is because i have even worst success with NMM download manager, not only that but NMM downloads much much much slower then manually. Again i'm using Chrome and windows 7. I asked in Nexus chat about it, but people are telling me it's only me having this issue. What i don't understand is why in 20 years i been downloading just fine off internet i never had issues with corrupt downloads before and why i only have issues with this site. I downloaded large files elsewhere to test and much larger files today and i have no issues. Only from Nexus..... So i'm completely baffled to how i can fix this issue. But obvously this is only happening to me since i'm only one posting about it and people in chat say it is only me, which only makes me 1000% more frustrated that i can't figure out what's going on. EDIT: Also does anyone have issues with site trying to bring up pages? many many many times i try to click links or navigate site i get errors but usually a few refreshes fixes it. I'm starting to wonder if i just have a really bad connection to Nexus servers which is causing my problem.
  8. I just wanted to report that i can download mods with NMM but only small mods, like around 30MB or less with success. anything larger almost always fails. It is disappointing that there is not a way to simply check "chunks" of a file and redownload the corrupt ones like a torrent program does, in fact if servers just used bit-torrents for mod downloads i'd be much happier. Also i'm not having a huge success downloading manually ether but it's much more successful then NMM for large mods. I find that in mods that are over 100MB it fails about %50 of time. For example reason i finally came here to post about it is because i was trying to download SkyMoMod which is about 470MB. First 2 times i downloaded NMM spit out errors when installing and i couldn't un-zip with 7-zip ethier to try and repack in case it was a NMM issue. Then on 3rd attempt it at downloading file it finally worked. So essentially i just downloaded about 1,400MB of data for one file that should have only been 470MB. The only reason i continue to try is because i have a very fast brighthouse lightning 40MB connection and doesnt' take me long at all to download 470MB of data. it's just still pretty frustrating. I would like to add that i download large files all time and sometimes much larger then any files i download here without any issues what so over. I use chrome. brighthouse lighting is my ISP windows 7 64 bit. I download from premium servers. Any ideas? i really think it's an issue with download server, but if it's possible it could be a setting on my end and i can fix it, that would be awesome. I also fee like i'm leeching too much bandwidth from servers having to re-download mods all time but i feel like i have no choice at this time.
  9. I for one... love steam. Never ever had issues downloading games as they come out. no issues with it interfering with other programs. no spyware. and is way way way better then other companies software for launching their games... (cough windows live...).
  10. No sarcasm... .. i always have played video games most my life from more of a technical perspective and to just basically "complete" everything and "beat" everything. I always wished i can go back and really roleplay most games. Something i wish i could do but have a difficult time sticking to it.. i guess i'm too much of a realist to loose myself in a role play mindset. I'll see what i can do about role playing my character more in Skyrim. Should be a good game to do it in right?? :)
  11. Very nice improvements to the limbs, makes a world of difference and does look much more natural now. Can't add any advice though, i'm not much of an artist.
  12. I'm sure you can both duel wield and us 2 hand weapons.. regarding perk thingy i don't know.
  13. Wow. in all games I've ever played I've never really cared or thought deep enough on whether my character should shave his beard off later in his career or grow one depending on the situation. i seriously need to learn how to role-play my games more.. i feel sad.... Now i finally understand why people like barber shops in RPGs to change their hairstyle..
